Once one of the most powerful cities in the industry, Los Angeles experienced a decline in musical output and dominance after the East Coast/West Coast rivalry of the 90s.
"I think most definitely what Kendrick did, what YG did put what we known for on a platform, on a global platform, again," Nipsey Hussle told AllHipHop.com. "The last time we had that was Game. And before that it was the Death Row era."
