Julia Beverly talks about the trials and tribulations in writing a book about Pimp C, "Sweet Jones: Pimp C's Trill Life Story". In this interview, she reveals never-before-heard details about Pimp C, but also the issues he faced as a man and legend. While the Port Arthur OG was a known pioneer, he also faced mental health issues, beefs and how he inspired those around him. “Pimp was a polarizing figure. "If he liked you, he was gonna go do anything for you, but if he didn’t like you, you weren’t going to get anything out of him,” she said. “You had different accounts of him. So, some people had negative run-ins with him.” Check out the full interview below as conducted by Chuck "Jigsaw" Creekmur.
