Sam Pain – Don’t Do It

14 year-old emcee Sam Pain is not your average kid.  Originally from Uptown 1-4 Zone, his mother relocated to the infamous Edgewood neighborhood in Northeast, Washington, D.C. when Sam was just 2 years old.  The tough streets of D.C. forced Sam to grow up fast.  He took it upon himself to care for his single mother, younger brother, and sister.  Although barely a teenager, his command of music and track presence put most grown men to shame. Already an East-coast acclaimed basketball standout, Sam is now primed to take over the rap game with the release of his first mixtape: New Beginnings.  Don’t be surprised if you find yourself forgetting you’re listening to a kid—Sam Pain is the truth.

If you want fire, get it from Church—his beats are thumping.  Producer/Songwriter/Manager “Win/Son Churchill” is the sound and original visionary of RDX Recordings.

Born in Washington, D.C. into a Trinidadian lineage, Church is a first generation American.  He began classical piano training at the age of 5 and has been a devout student of music ever since.  Church spent most of his adolescence on the DC Go-Go circuit, playing keyboard for the popular band, AllStarz.  He also spent time in Jazz and Reggae bands over the years.  In 2010, he graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA with a B.A. in Economics and a Mathematics concentration, and is a recent graduate of The George Washington University Law School as of May, 2013.  Church has big plans for Rough Diamond International, and it won’t be long before both he and RDX are household names.

Rough Diamond International (RDX) is a D.C.-based entertainment label and management consulting group.  RDX is home to Sam Pain and Zel (featured on the “New Beginnings” mixtape).  RDX provides brand management and artist development.  Maximize your potential.  If you are an unsigned artist looking for a home (or production) don’t hesitate to contact RDX, but make sure your music is ready to go!
