(AllHipHop News) Fans of "Power" are in for a treat.
While 50 Cent may not be returning to the small screen for that show, in particular, he isn’t done with the Starz network quite yet.
During a recent conversation at Business Insider's IGNITION conference, 50 and Starz CEO Chris Albrecht said not one, not two, but three Power spin-offs are in the works, including one starring 50's character, Kanan, who died during this year’s Season 5.
50 states, "The prequel is my spin-off. I get the chance to come back. I'm dead. It's cool though. It gives the chance to show the world where all of these characters grew in so you can see the defining moments that developed their imperfections that people are attracted to at the moment. It's exciting. It's TGE, the golden era."
Albrecht also revealed the spin-offs are moving "all at the same time."
He states, "I'm happy to have them all work, but we're determined to have at least one. BMF [Black Mafia Family], other projects we have going... there's a lot of activity. It's important because there's a lot of fans out there that want to see more of those characters and new stuff like BMF, which is going to be amazing. Not easy, but amazing."
Don’t worry though, Season 6 is still being shot, with 50 remaining an executive producer.
