Volume.com,

the internet portal funded by HBO, has been totally reformed.

Volume was adversely affected by the America Online aquisition

of Time Warner. Originally, Volume.com had a staff that was taken

from The Source Magazine, ABC News, and several other prominent

places. However, the site will now focus less on original content

and more on an online community similar to BlackPlanet.com. Volume.com

never had the opportunity to launch with all of its original content,

interviews and Quicktime movies. Originally, it was supposed to

be a site that pushed the envelope with its cutting edge content.
