Remember when you had a lil garden in the back or something? No? Yea? Well there is a terrible possibility on the horizon. Will it soon be illegal to grow your own food? In Food Inc., filmmaker Robert Kenner and investigative authors Eric Schlosser (Fast Food Nation), Michael Pollan (The Omnivore’s Dilemma) lift the veil on our U.S. food industry, revealing surprising facts about what we eat, how it’s produced, who we have become as a nation and where we may go from here.
On the flip side, S 510, the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2010, may be the most dangerous bill in the history of the US. Source says, “If accepted [S 510] would preclude the public’s right to grow, own, trade, transport, share, feed and eat each and every food that nature makes.”
