(AllHipHop News) Coolio and his family are having a rough day, as the rap star and his son are currently both behind bars in the same Las Vegas jail.

Coolio was arrested in Las Vegas today (March 9), after he was pulled over during a routine traffic stop.

The rap star, who was a passenger in the car, was taken into custody because there were two bench warrants out for his arrest, for traffic violations.

Coolio is being held at Clark County Detention Center, where his son Grtis Ivey is being held on more serious charges.

According to reports, Grtis has been held without bail since November of 2011.

He is accused of conspiring with a Las Vegas prostitute to rob a man of $5000 at gunpoint in his apartment.
