Ol’ Dirty Bastard is still impacting music even after his death. We hear that one of ODB’s classics, “Brooklyn Zoo”, was the inspiration for soul singer Adele’s mega hit record, “Rolling in the Deep”.
Adele’s producer, Paul Epworth, who produced “Rolling in the Deep”, says that the bridge for the track was a direct reflection of the ODB track. Check out what he said below:
“But for the bridges, we were trying to make the piano sound like ‘Brooklyn Zoo’ by Ol’ Dirty B*****d.”
