If Birdman has his way, Chicago MC Chief Keef will soon be a member of the Cash Money roster. For those who don’t know, Chief Keef is a 16-year-old rapper from Chicago who was thrust into the spotlight when Kanye West remixed his street single, “I Don’t Like”.
You can listen to the song below:
Birdman was recently interviewed by MTV and said that he would “do whatever it takes” to sign the young spitter.
“I like him, he kinda reminds me of us,” Birdman is quoted as saying about Keef. “[He's] out the streets, I think he’s swagged up, and I’m definitely talking to his people, and I’d like to see if we can make it pop, see if I can see if I can get him to be down with the team.”
Keef himself also tweeted last month, “Birdman Just Called He Say He Wanna Sign Me Wit #CMB.”
Do you think Chief Keef will make a good addition to the squad?
