(AllHipHop News) Los Angeles rapper Ras Kass has signed a new deal with Empire Distribution, which will release his upcoming projects. Ras Kass is working on two new releases. The first is the P.U.M.A. EP, which will include production from Alchemist, Klasic and others. That EP will be followed by a full-length album titled F.I.L.A. which will feature a number of surprise guests. Empire Distribution will oversee the marketing and distribution of both projects. Empire Distribution already works with top rappers like Snoop Dogg, ScHoolboy Q, Fat Joe, N.O.R.E, Slum Village and others.

Some of the top B-Boys in North America will battle tomorrow (July 21) in Chicago, during the Red Bull BC One North American Qualifier. The event, which takes place at the Aragon Entertainment Center, will feature B-Boys performing, in hopes of reaching the Red Bull BC One championships. Sixteen dancers will battle it out for the chance to represent North America at the Red Bull BC One world finals, which is taking place in Rio. Tickets for the event are $10 for general admission and can be purchased at Aragon.com. It’s an all ages event.

A$AP Rocky is facing criminal charges after allegedly assaulting two men in New York last night (July 19). TMZ.com reports that the rapper was involved in a verbal dispute with someone in downtown Manhattan, when two unassociated people started taking pictures of the argument. A$AP Rocky, born Rakim Mayers and an associate, allegedly pounced on the bystanders who were taking the pictures and assaulted both men. A$AP Rocky was arrested and is expected to be charged with attempted robbery.
