(AllHipHop News) Actress Jada Pinkett-Smith and singers Alicia Keys and Pink are joining forces to help put a dent in the pimping game.
The three women have joined forces to help create Public Service Announcements (PSA’s) that focus on the plight of human trafficking.
The spots rolled out yesterday (September 19), as part of mtvU’s “mtvU Against Our Will Campaign.”
Each one of the ladies helped create six Public Service Announcements, where they voice poetry written by women who have survived being trafficked.
Alicia Keys reads a spot titled “Pimps,” Pink reads a poem titled “I Remember,” while Jada Pinkett-Smith recites poetry in the PSA “Nightlife.”
The campaign was launched in partnership with Girls Educational and Mentoring Services (GEMS), an organization that helps to raise awareness amongst students, about prostitution and modern-day slavery.
The spot debuted to over 750 college campuses and 9 million college students nationwide.
