Happy Friday, my Illuminated and Enlightened!

Welcome to the day that we begin to put some urgency back into our lives! Today’s Daily Word
is dedicated to waking up! As I perused through the Internet yesterday, I stumbled upon the Samuel L Jackson “Wake the F**K up” ad campaign for President Obama’s reelection (see video below).

As I watched the video and agreed with its message, I immediately thought of how that same message runs parallel to our lives! We often fight and fight for an outcome, and once we get close or get to that outcome, we begin to take a break and relax! We forget that there are forces
fighting against us that want what we already have! We fall asleep and believe that everything is all good, until we wake up and realize that all that we have fought for has been taken away!

WAKE UP!!! Understand that life is a journey not a destination! Your hard work is not something you do right now until you get what you want, then revert back to your former ways…. Your hard work is something you do right now and forever!! Excellence is Your life!! You must WAKE UP and push yourself to the best of your abilities at ALL TIMES!! Do Not allow life to take you by surprise!! All you have is right now!! Take full advantage of your power and NEVER, EVER let Go!!
