With the release of his new album, good kid, M.A.A.d city at midnight this morning, Kendrick Lamar is finally spilling the beans on the true meaning of the acronym in his album title. In a recent interview with the L.A. Leakers, Kendrick says that the”m.A.A.d” in the album title actually stands for two things. Check out how he describes the meaning below:

“It has two meanings. The first one is, my angry adolescence divided. The basic standout meaning is “my angels on angel dust. That’s the reason why i don’t smoke. That was me, I got laced, and that’s why I don’t smoke.”
