Hip-Hop Rumors: Does Young Jeezy Have A Ghostwriter?

As you guys have probably heard, news broke this morning about Young Jeezy allegedly dropping Gary, Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs from his CTE roster. Freddie Gibbs recently confirmed the split on his Twitter page. Check out a few of his tweets below:

I wonder if this has anything to do with Freddie Gibbs refusing to take sides in Jeezy’s beef with Gucci Mane on that Power 105.1 Breakfast Club interview last week? Jeezy wouldn’t drop him over that, would he?

Anyway, according to a tweet by Hit Skrewface of the Str8 Slammin’ crew, Freddie Gibbs has written a gang of songs for Jeezy. Check out his tweet exposing Jeezy below:

So, am I reading this wrong, or is this dude exposing that Freddie Gibbs is Young Jeezy’s ghostwriter?!

Freddie Gibbs is so fuccin dope. How da hell you drop him but keep Slick Pulla annoying azz. I think Gibbs and Yo Gotti should link up, that would be dope. Jeezy, what are you thinkin?

Whos tat dude that jeezy got his whole style from??? Dont remember homies name but jeezy jacked his style and straight ran with it..

Why can’t Gangsta Gibbs write himself a hit if he’s so dope?? I honestly haven’t heard 1 track from Gibbs that was a hit. Interscope and CTE obviously felt the same way..

I think he’s his own writer…………he just writes off of what he saw in Scarface…….American Gangster(Movies and BET Series)…….New Jack CIty…….and any other movie involving narcotics….

worst decision jeezy ever made, at the same time it wasnt a fit for gibbs he was miles and litteraly thousands of miles ahead of jeezy , gibbs one my fav mcs of all time and he only been around for 4-5 years . He will be bigger then jeezy by next year forsure he has never had a weak project.

He didn’t drop Freddie Gibbs, Gibbs wanted to leave, cuz Jeezy wasn’t doing anything with him… And probably most these rappers with labels get songs written for them by their artists…

Freddie Gibbs ain’t get dropped he is a free agent due to him not having major label baccing. CTE is just an independent who’s owner has a major deal.

YES, HE DROPPED GIBBS!!! finally Fred got parted from those non-lyrical circus clowns. the only dope MC on the label, anyway he got the ability to carry himself so i dont even get why he signed with Jeezy to start with… any indie will suit him fine.

The CTE move could’ve been good for Gibbs if he stayed true to what he did, but “the steel city stick up kid” became “Freddie fourgiallo” and the nigga that said “I’m sick and tired of all these autotune ass niggas I miss Nate dogg” autotuned his way through an entire song on BFK, wich featured more love songs and club songs than anything I’ve heard from Gibbs. Sometimes you gotta tell your boss, “That’s cool for you, but it’s not what I do”.
