(AllHipHop News) The city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is celebrating one of their own today (December 12), as today is Wiz Khalifa day in the city.
Yesterday, The Pittsburgh city Council declared today “Wiz Khalifa Day” in honor of the rap stars success.
The city offered the proclamation yesterday, where Wiz accepted willingly.
“It means a lot to me, being a kid in Pittsburgh and riding buses, and going to school and just loving Pittsburgh so much,” Wiz said during the press conference.
Wiz, who graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School in 2006, will perform in Pittsburgh tonight, at the Consol Energy Center.
