(Allhiphop News) Los Angeles is on high alert after three police officers were attacked and shot, one fatally. All suspicion points to Christopher Jordan Dorner, 33, a former LAPD officer. Dorner (pictured above on the left with former LAPD police chief Bratton) was fired in 2009 for making false statements. He appealed the decision but was not reinstated to the force. It seems since that time he’s been plotting to seek his revenge on those who he felt railroaded him.

In a message posted on Facebook, he states:

“Your lack of ethics and conspiring to wrong a just individual are over. Suppressing the truth will leave to deadly consequences for you and your family. There will be an element of surprise where you work, live, eat, and sleep…I never had the opportunity to have a family of my own, I’m terminating yours.”

The attacked on LADP officers began at 1:30am Thursday when two cops, who were protecting an officer named as a target in Dorner’s letter were shot at. Shortly after that, two officers exchanged gunfire with the suspect, believed to be Dorner at an intersection. Their patrol car was ambushed and one of them was fatally wounded.

Dorner was already under investigation for the double murder of a young couple, which included the daughter of Randy Quan, a retired LAPD captain who was involved in Dorner review and ultimate dismissal from the LAPD.

A manhunt continues for Dorner, who is considered to be armed and dangerous.
