DMX Arrested In South Carolina For Driving Without A License

(AllHipHop News) Rapper DMX ran afoul of the law in Spartanburg, South Carolina after he was arrested yesterday (February 12).

The rapper was arrested in Spartanburg, for driving without a license.

According to reports, the rapper was booked into the Spartanburg County Jail around 2:00 AM.

He already went before a judge, and was released a short time later.

DMX has served several prison sentences for various minor driving infractions. In Maricopa County, Arizona, DMX was arrested six times alone

With the exception of 2012, DMX has been arrested at least once every year, since 1999.

      When he’s in the carolinas he act like a regular dude. He moved down about a year ago and ever since then I’ve been seeing someone from my home town at least once a week on facebook like “I just saw DMX at walmart or waffle house!”

    DMX must just like the food in county jail or something, cause I’m running out of logical reasons to explain why he gets arrested so often for totally unneccesary charges. I’ve been to county a few times and you see alot of people in there for stupid reasons like this, doing 364 days for 15 parking infractions and what not…….Seriously, how hard is it to find someone else to drive, does DMX not have any friends or something??? Even so, just catch a bus next time you idiot

      DMX paid for the car he’s driving & the road he’s driving it on, ( Taxes ) and even you admit that the charges are unnecessary, etc. so you blame him, instead of the bad laws?

      Out of all DMX’s arrest, how many involved an actual victim? IE: Some one other than the state? ( Granted the FBI impersonation thing doesn’t count?…other than that…who actually complains about DMX?)

      • How is it a safety issue when DMX has never been in a car accident?
        Why was his license suspended? Careless driving or fines & getting messed with by the laws?

        I could see if he was a drunk driver with a dangerous record of driving unsafely, but absent that, what is the purpose other than a tyrannical government dictating what a so-called “FREED” person can do?

        He is paying for the roads via the tax on gas, but he can’t use them?
        That’s like you paying for your radio show, but the government disagreeing with your topics & not letting you broadcast…..but still charging you for the airtime.

        Folks get too caught up on permission, and don’t realize that you need permission for everything now, but still think they are free.

        DMX’s suspension is punitive and has nothing to do with safety.
        Right to travel has been reduced to a privileged, like the right to bear arms.

        As a 14th amendment citizen, GOD isn’t your creator, the government is, and accepting 14th amendment citizenship is tantamount to admitting the government created you.

        It is what it is, right or wrong, it’s a fact.
        I’m not criticizing X for driving, especially when I feel he was unfairly targeted by officials for unconstitutional reasons.

        I think u missed the point..bottom line..if u dont have a license (and DMX hasn’t for a LONG time)..stay from behind the damn wheel…doesnt matter if u paid for the car or not…chances are if he’s unlicensed he’s also uninsured…I dont want this mufukka hitting me with no insurance…slave mentality dont have jack to do with it…

      • Neither does insurance. If “IF” was a fifth ( of whiskey ) we’d be drunk.
        He didn’t hit anyone, and there is no proof he wasn’t insured, either way, as a free man, if we were, that would be our choice, and if we did hit someone, insured or not, there are repercussions for that.

        What’s next? Fishing without a license? Marriage without one? Working without one?

        Where do you draw the line between what is acceptable for others to do without Massa’s permission?

      • I agree…….DMX thinks that he is above the law, he does anything that he wants and expect his fans to assist him in getting out of his troubles….The man is a crackhead, and until he does something to you and your family only then will you understand how much of a donkey he really is…..DMX doesn’t deserve to be in the general population, he needs 24hr supervision.

        EDOG – you gotta play by the rules – or risk being caught – knowledge of exposure, assumption, reality all should come into play in making desicions as you play the game of “not being caught” – there’s no slave mentality amoung us – DMX is just obvioulsy failing in the cat-mouse game of arrest risk, no matter how big or small the crime,- your wrong for defending a law breaker that keeps being caught.

        It is a slave mentality, because we accept slavery mentally, which is why we will never be free. They charge DMX to use the roads, and won’t let him use them…..and folks support that, but deny they have a slave mentality. SMDH

        Harriet Tubman freed 1,000’s of slaves, and could have freed 1,000’s more if they knew they were slaves.

        While I accept our modern day slavery, I damn sure won’t criticize another for rebelling against it.

        Hint: Pre 14th amendment – Who needed permission to do anything, let alone everything?

        Dude, if it were up to me Weed would be legal to smoke everywhere but since I dont make the rules I dont walk down the street smoking if I can help it, and when I got arrested for it back in the day I didnt cry about it, I did my 3 weeks, paid the fine and didnt get caught again.

        The law says DMX cant drive. He drove. He could have easily avoided these charges by passing the keys to someone else. It’s an idiot charge because only an idiot would get arrested for this over and over.

        If you want to change the laws then write your congressmen, go to city council meetings, or whatever else you want to do, and have them changed. But until they are you either follow the rules or go to jail. It’s a pretty simple concept to wrap your head around.

    it you ever have gotten your license revoked you would understand why he keep doing getting into trouble. At least this time he didn’t run from the cops and just pulled over. he hasn’t had a license in like 10 years. they probably going to make it were he can never have a license ever again.

    they doing too much i’ve been pull over with a suspended license and never got arrested. they either take your car, tell you to park it and have someone with a license pick up the car or even just let you drive off but i’ve never been arrested for it.
