I have to give it to Rihanna. That chick has withstood the B-Storm where most of the R&B chicks have just withered away. Think about the likes of Ciara and Keri Hilson. They just cannot withstand those hurricane winds. But. Rihanna has. Rihanna has not only survived but she has totally thrived in the era of Beyonce. They go back and forth for acclaim and magazine covers and stuff of that sort. Word on the street is that B is throwing a bit of shade in RiRi’s direction.

NOW…peep who won the big poll we all partook in for who had the hotter GQ Cover.

Per Rhymes With Snitch, Beyonce took a shot at Rihanna on her new “documentary” – peep the shade:

“People don’t make albums anymore. They just try to sell a bunch of little quick singles and they burn out and they put out a new one, and they burn out, and they put out a new one.”

Here are some stats to back that assertion up:

Rihanna has 12 #1 singles to Beyonce’s 8 and Rihanna’s 23 Top 10 singles compared to Beyonce’s 14 as evidence that Beyonce was taking shots.
