The rapper has projected his song “New Slaves” onto the walls of 66 location all over the nation.

In the song, Kanye talks about the New World Order, paparazzi, his frustrations over a sparse, but bouncy beat.

All the locations can be found at KanyeWest.com.

Below, is the Williamsburg, Brooklyn projection of “New Slave.”

I doubt he is looking for airplays… well he will get at least Urban plays lmao… So smart promotion, good song, and great message… that’s the Kanye we want

  • DJ7

It’s gonna be a hot summer….get your popcorn ready!!

  • bisolabliss

Yawn!!! It’s talk-about-me-kanye-time I see. Ye lost the plot right about when his mom passed (RIP), that would be about 3 albums ago. And personally, I’m at a point where he needs to do more to convince me the days of letting Jay Z exact too much influence on him are over #IJS

  • Smart move. Cheap but effective promo. Renting 66 Video beamers costs nothing, compared to useless adverts in magazines nobody is reading anymore.

    • Didn’t even look at it like that, just as brilliant marketing…it definitely got more attention, but set the bar even higher.

If he keeps going the way he is going, in a few albums, he’s gonna have to set himself on fire, on live TV, to go platinum.

Security for the equipment, on the Bkln side of the bridge, probably cost more than the actually equipment.

That ‘chet is gonna end up projecting NBA2K15 on the wall of some housing project.

HOW CAN SOMEONE WHO IS A BITCH OF THE MAINSTREAM, TALK ABOUT NEW SLAVES? WHEN HE MAKES WHITE APPROVED WHITE MUSIC,..

    • justmathoughts

right, hes saying “we” like he down with us, rappers are so far removed, its crazy

    • Mathematics_Lee

LOL “A Bitch of the Mainstream” you must not know anything about Media. How many black people do you know as successful as Kanye West in 2013 (besides Jay). Listen to the lyrics brotha. Listen to the lyrics!

      • It’s not the lyrics, it’s the source and the sources image.

    • Guest

  • Dam is it that hard to sell some records, that everytime he drops material it has to be a wow factor? Kanye West is really a media whore, this dude will do and say anything just to make a profit. It’s sad.

    • Troll_E_G

Dude stfu…clearing u spewing negativity….it was creative marketing….whats being a media whore has to do with spitting bars of a projector…..if anything, its innovative

      • The song was kinda wack, but the marketing is pure genius.

The first 3 rules of business are :

        1) Advertising
        2) Advertising
        3) Advertising

      • And that’s the formula that we are used to, fans are on to it, and it makes no sense because at this point in Kanye’s career your true fans will support you regardless…..The trickery is actually hurting his sales….We don’t want gimmicks just drop your music and step off….What is Kanye really trying to prove to us? We already know that he got skills.

      • Pierre Elliott

HE HAD *OK* SKILLS, BUT YEAH TO WHAT YOU ARE SAYING.

      • ^This

      • He’s relying on marketing & promotion…not skills.

      • Tony G.

the thing ur failing to realize..YOU are on this website talking about it…which is exactly what he wanted..so why ur busy criticizing..ur an accessory to the crime..

      • That’s the most accurate analysis of this whole shit.

      • >>Business major

      • You STFU, everything these people release you dudes eat it up and praise them….Great music should speak for itself, drama and controversy has to do with trickery and Deceitful ways to sell your product…….Kanye makes up these crazy prolonged public disputes, debates, contentions; and disputations becuase he is lacking high album sales…He is a media puppet and you are the plastic audience that he is selling it to.

      • Pierre Elliott

ITS THE TRUTH. REAL HIP HOP NOT HIP POP WAS BASED ON DOPENESS…. BLACK PEOPLE FORGOT ABOUT THEIR OWN PEOPLE IN ORDER TO GET SALES FROM EUROPEANS… NGGAS ARE STRAIGHT SLAVE JIGGA BOOS NOW.

      • DeMill Bradford

Niggas dont buy CD’s, so niggas suppose to starve because we dont support our own…

      • I agree.

      • Pierre Elliott

I support dope hip hop not hip pop

      • Tony G.

man its 2013..get off the damn slave ship

      • ItGoesDownINtheDM

great music cant speak for itself if its not heard or seen

    • Tony G.

  • OffBreed

For all the heat that kanye takes(usually because of his own doing) he creative as fuck….the meaning to this song took more balls to make than any rapper I’ve seen in a minute.

    • Pierre Elliott

  • Mathematics_Lee

Kanye.. Just spitting FACTs… Marketing is a part of the game fo sure.. But listen to the message. When you go through alot of shit you speak alot a shit. This is good motivation music for brothas and sisters and hiphop!

    • yes listen to the message.. a message he knows NOTHING about and doesnt follow. WOMP WOMP

    • I’m still missing the great message of this song. I get it the elementary analysis of commercialism creating slaves out of consumers but what else? People actin like he went deep or something.

      • Mathematics_Lee

If you can’t read the message maybe its not meant for you. Try another artists. lol.

  • Joe

I have very mixed feelings about Kanye. On one hand he is a creative genius and makes some of the hottest and most innovative music out right now and has the balls to say shit that other rappers won’t. On the other hand he is a whiny, attention seeking, hypocrite media whore that values his own worth too much. Great artist who makes great music, but has to be one of the most unlikable celebrities of all time. That being said, I think this shit is fire.

    • hypocrite, thats the key word. no one likes a hypocrite.

  • Guest

songs about black folks sellin out to ‘white’ media. about how all white ppl think black ppl buy chains n cars this that n the third.. about how only black ppl wanna buy name brand cloths corporations sell.. all in all kayne dissed his entire person bec he buys all that shit, sells all that shit and promotes all that shit..

kaynes dissin himself in a genius song..but agian hes steppin on his own throat?

    • its no different then a then a fake thug talking street shit, a murderer preaching the bible, his message dont mean shit coming from him

      • Yeah. Ain’t nobody tryna hear from no fake revolutionary.

      • Guest

im not sayin its hilarious coming from kayne west, the irony of this song coming from kayne is great but doent stop the song from being true

    • Tony G.

ur comment shows u have no idea of the point of the song…well at least the title Niggas In Paris

      • Guest

let me guess..you think this song is about black ppl breakin free from white people bec the song has the word slave in the title…?

  • EzE

Wasnt he the same one that had non blacks all over the world saying niggas in Paris……”Got my niggas in Paris and we going Gorilla hhhhaaaaaaa”

  • This is one of those songs where you’re either going to GET THE POINT or NOT. That Simple. @KanyeWest is at the point now… he does NOT GAF about the media view point about himself, just simply spitting from his OWN point of view,

    • That’s kind of a cop out, bruh. If the music is really powerful then there shouldn’t be no question about the point. The message should be universally understood. Everyone may not agree with the message but everyone should understand it. That is definitely not the case here. There are so many mixed signals here, it’s ridiculous. Not to mention Kanye ain’t no Fight the Power type of dude. He just likes to make white people feel uncomfortable while simultaneously envying them.

      • $17637591

No Kanye is not a “Fight the Power” MC but alot of his music is on a conscious level. He patterned his style after Pac, Ice Cube and others. Has some Superficial ryhmes and some thought provoking ryhmes also. Like him or not…his creativity cant be denied.

        DETROIT HARD HEADZ

      • I wouldn’t say this is a “FIGHT THE POWER” record for one. LOL That’s you. On another note he’s ALWAYS been conscience about his surroundings on the mic. Since his first album… infact, EVERY solo album he’s had he (AT SOME POINT) he’s always mentioned something conscience either about himself OR the world in general. AND YES this is one of those either you get it or not records, because really there is no “HIDDEN” lines in it. ITS PLAIN AS DAY.

  • Who’sthis?

remember “All falls down”. Kanye buys all those chains and designers and cars

    • Guest

kayne does this in his entire life everyday since hes been on..not just 1 song

      • Who’sthis?

but we’ll we all do this kind of, he could be comenting the whole thing including himself he didn’t say that it doesn’t apply to him

      • Guest

true..but until he does its suspect.

The funny part about this is…people are criticizing saying he always has to do extra …BUT..ur asses are on here commenting about it..which is basically exactly what Kanye wanted…if ur not a fan why even come watch the video just to criticize..this is all about marketing and the fact that ur on here one way or the other means uve just been marketed..like the song/video or not

    • Guest

you gotta read the comments noones here hatin on kayne.. ppl are talkin about how its ironic kayne is adressing this song out of all the people and the meaning… noones denyin the songs hot

I hate when black artists talk about “serving water to fair skin” yet they date or knock up fair skinned women smh. Either ur “black power” or ur not, Kanye. U knocked up another race; we know u dont care about us blacks anymore.
