Hip-Hop Rumors: Charli Baltimore Is Working With Real Gz Now!

This, I found interesting. It looks like Charli Bmore, the 90’s rap chick that eventually got down with Murder Inc, has quite possibly formed a union with Trick Trick, the notorious Detroit G. Trick Trick has been pretty quiet as of late, but I just recently noticed that he’s been sending out some positive tweets about uplifting the hood. Detroit needs it. But, I heard he’s got a group or a label deal with Charli Baltimore. I know, not breaking news, but I’m mostly curious as to why. (I didn’t see any evidence on his Twitter.) By the way, you may not know who Trick Trick is, but he’s rapped with Eminem, basically holds Detroit down for the streets. He created the “no fly zone” for rappers, if my memory serves me correct. So, if you weren’t supportive of the Detroit rap scene or “giving back,” you could not perform there. Trick Trick most infamously set up Trick Daddy. Apparently, they had clashed over there respective rap names. Somebody booked Trick Daddy for a concert in Detroit and got beat down when he arrived. Infamous!

I wonder how Biggie would do in this media era. Could you imagine him on TMZ or Twitter?

Funny you brought up biggie at the end cause he got set up by e40 the same way trick daddy got did by trick trick.

    • Pedro Matos Jr.

Minus the ass whoopin tho. LOL

      • hoeyuno

Yea your right. but they scared the shit outta them.

      • What happened? That’s some “iLL” ‘chet.

You should send it to iLLseed!

      • hoeyuno

It’s already out there. big got asked on the radio if he would everwork with e40 then big responded e40 is like a 4 outta 10 at rappin or some shit.. a couple months later big got booked for a show in Oakland and when he got to the show there was like 2,people there. big played a couple songs and bounced out the back just to have his limo surrounded by e40 and a bunch of bay area hardknocks with AKs and shit. needless to say big apologized and e40 accepted and told him that him and his boys were not safe in the bay cause of what he said and earl sent some goons back to the hotel with big to protect him for the rest of the night… bigs old manager tells the story and praises e40 on his clever ass set up.

      • Wow!

      • Pedro Matos Jr.

@EDOGZ ain’t u from NY I’m surprised u neva heard that story it was even on 1 of them B.I.G documentaries.

      • Been in PA over 15yrs?

Last I heard about BIG, was when he baseball batted the fan at Union Square, back when he first came out.

That Tupac ‘chet made me feel a certain way.

      • Pedro Matos Jr.

My bad I knew u was out East I thought it was NY musta confused u wit another 1 of the regulars on here. Not a Biggie fan tho huh strange 2 hear from a East Coast cat.

      • I’m from the Boogie Down, like KRS & ‘Pac & was a fan of Biggie…until that Quad ‘chet!

      • Pedro Matos Jr.

BX huh dat’s wassup but why take that Quad sh*t so personal Biggie couldn’t have did nuthin 2 stop that Henchmen & them already wanted Pac hit the wheels was already in motion. Also I thought Pac was from BK not BX?

      • Pac was from BX.

Go hang out in the lobby of Quad, for 1hr, after hours, with a moreno or two, and an illegal handgun…then tell me how that worked out!

Big could have & should have stopped it.

        #IJS

      • Pedro Matos Jr.

I kinda see watchu sayin but if Biggie woulda got involved he woulda got popped 2. Plus the story goes BIG tried 2 warn Pac about the company he was keepin. I can’t call it tho.

      • He did warn him….but should have done more.

Maybe be like ” Not while he’s coming to see me ” etc.

      • Pedro Matos Jr.

I definitely see watchu sayin since u put it that way but I thought Pac was there 2 record wit some1 else & Big & Jr. Mafia just happened 2 b there wasn’t it Lil Shawn or sum n*gga like dat he was meetin.

      • If it looks like a coincidence, sounds like a coincidence & appears to be one…..it ain’t.

I’m not saying BIG was down with it…..but he knew it was about to go down.
Diddy definitely knew, and was just as much a part of it as Haitian Jack……in fact, jack probably stepped to Jimmy for help with the set up, who put pressure on Diddy, and that put pressure on BIG to roll with it…or let it go down.

        Foul ‘chet in my book.

Best believe if you come see me, I’ll do my best to guarantee your safe passage, and while I can’t check everyone…I would definitely check my soldiers.

        *Been there / Done that.

I’m sure you had homies that were beefing & you intervened on some “Not here…not around me ” type ‘chet,

      • Pedro Matos Jr.

No doubt well said my n*gga well said.

      • sakiru oresanwo

That is some REAL/TRILL homey sense of loyalty right there… shame not everybody has it and people get in trouble for it too. Once had 2 of my homeys (rivals at that) clash at my place one time, had to put my foot down and let em know they aint turning my place upside down, good thing these were men who prefer to use their fists not heaters lol

      • ‘Chet!

I had the exact same ‘chet happen….like in Juice, etc.

Almost….I grabbed the blicka & let them both know they would each catch a meat cap / flesh wound up in my ‘chet. They settled down real quick…now they both hurling accusations @ me, mad at me, etc.talking about I’m taking the other’s one’s side & how could I threaten name over the other..etc.

*Still cool with them both 🙂

        1) It was mad disrespectful to WWE up in my ‘chet.
        2) I wasn’t picking sides.

It’s not like just because I knew A longer than B, I would jump B with A…would prefer to unite & get stronger.

      • sakiru oresanwo

I hear that dude, people just seem to forget to apply sense when it is utmostly needed

      • HalfPast7

The typa weight Henchmen n them Queens dudes was holdin in the street back then would have made it difficult for BIG to try to tell them who to rob. Puff n em was scared of them so if they did kno, they would have had to just sit back and let it go down anyway.

      • Then stop acting like you about that life…before you fool the wrong person…….Oh wait…..he already did.

^Think about 50 cent’s message to his Lil Cousin 25.

I’ll co-sign if your point is that they were soft……otherwise, they were DOWN with it.

Some times you have to stand up when the odds are not in your favor.

      • HalfPast7

Idk from what I hear Big was about that life, Puff wasn’t tho. These are the possibilities as they run thru my head. 1. Big never knew and what happened to Pac was purely Henchmens doing (remember the industry as a whole back then was shook of the Queens team, and the music industry was very familiar with them) 2. Big n em was given a headsup n was told not to interfere which makes them very soft. If Big truly was a friend of Pac then he woulda at least warned him, if he didn’t then he was either scared or WANTED Pac to get got n shot, which is kinda hard to believe for me. A lotta ppl say that Big truly viewed Pac as a friend. What’s also very possible is that only Puff knew n didn’t tell anybody (THAT I would def believe cuz he a snake type dude). And if Puff knew but kept it from Big, it wouldn’t matter cuz the world would always believe that Big knew all along jus off the strength of Puff knowing. Idk I’d love to hear the testimony from that night tho.

      • HMMM. never thought about Puff knowing & not telling Big

Maybe, as soft as Puff is, he was about that life more than BIG. IMHO

Queens team was over, as far as fear, etc.

It was industry execs ( Diddy / Jimmy ) were running ‘chet & thugging……on that type of ORGANIZED level.

Still, after the fact, BIG had to know.

Bklyn dudes is like that…loyalty is a rare trait!

      • HalfPast7

Nah, Big ran with some real dudes. Besides, you can’t just sell cracks in Bklyn n be soft, u won’t last long lol. My fault idk why I keep saying Queens what I meant was them Bklyn dudes like Haitian Jacks crew like Tut n Stretch n em. In that time, I don’t care where you was from u couldn’t just come to NY n stunt if u was famous. Even Death Row niggas knew that there were certain cats that they couldn’t handle in NY, even Snoop n em got clapped at in the safest part of the city, but that’s totally unrelated. To me, I fucks with Pac as an artist n I don’t consider him a rapper I consider him a great poet that was much smarter n brighter than Big. BUT, Pac made the mistake of playin too many sides of too many fences n ultimately that’s what sealed the deal for him as far as NY go. Who you know nowadays that can rep a city hard n then switch it up n rep another city hard? It just wouldn’t happen nowadays niggas would look at u like u fake. Pac was attracted to the lifestyle Jack lived, chilled with him a lot until the rape case happent n shit went sour after that. Big warned him about playin all these sides n the result was Quad studios, that’s what I really think happent

      • ItGoesDownINtheDM

low and behold tho tupac tricked us all lol

      • johnblacksad

        Wow! x 2

      • Terrance Goodman

I heard that too good ish
        New ill seed

      • moonfromsoufcack

actually, i don’t think e40 was there…the niggas that was there called e40 on the phone on some “ay yo we got that nigga that been talkin shit bout’chu..we can do that nigga right here right now!” type shit…this is where e40 shows his true gangsta cuz he told all them niggas to fall back, then had the nigga pass the phone to b.i.g. road manager/hood homie to tell them he was sending mo niggas to make sho they made it back to the hotel str8! #gshit

      • sakiru oresanwo

exactly how i heard it happened

      • hoeyuno

Your probably right. I wasn’t there. it’s a dope story though that I dont think is really that known. I mean earl doesn’t brag about it.. kind of shows what kinda dude he is. that coulda been some good promo for dude.

      • sakiru oresanwo

I heard something like that recently but with a twist and didnt know it had to do with E-40, damn some dudes dont play

      • ItGoesDownINtheDM

technically especially back in those days e40 was like a -3 in rapping and hes only stepped up to maybe a +3 or +4 because rap is SO DUMB down these days …. SPRINKLE ME MANE SPRINKLE ME MANE LOL !!!!!!!!!!!

      • ItGoesDownINtheDM

but as a real cool dude hes a 10 all day but yeah rap wise dont nobody know wtf e40 be talking bout except e40 lol him and ghostface need to make a group lol

      • “Ya’ Schmell me?”

        LOL~N

      • hoeyuno

I liked his shit right before the lil Jon got a hold of him. there was some good joints on his breaking news album.e40 is a entertaining dude but he’s as guilty as no limit was for pushing out more albums then he should of. I think homie made”makes” a good livin of putting out a couple albums a year and selling 80-100 thou. he’s been doing it since like 20 years.I do see your point tho you have to be a certain kind of cat to hear “captain save a hoe” and feel the need to put that shit on repeat..haha

      • ItGoesDownINtheDM

im surprised you aint up on this one mane you can prob find an youtube video of e40 talking about the situation

      • I’m gonna YT it right now.
