Hip-Hop Rumors: Lil Wayne Says Sorry To Emmett Till's Family

Well, here is some feel goods in the aftermath of the Trayvon Martin miscarriage of justice. It seems like Wayne has had a complete change of heart as to relates to the Till family. Well you know the deal. Weezy didn’t seem so eager to say sorry. But, on tour he’s changed his tune-chi. The vid below is a sample of what he’s been doing on a lot of his tour dates. Saying sorry. check it below.

Props to Wayne. It may be small, but we have to do this these days. Show some respect for each other and get this damn change underway.

They keep us talking, but if we stop talking about them then they should worry! -illseed.

        After me…..

  • Weezy is wack, but he earned a little respect from me with that apology!

    + Propz!

    • Matt Swan

Too Late. Should’ve done it when he said it instead of coming of as an arrogant ignorant fool. This is only because he wants that money back.

      • Better than never, I think he changed, even if it wasn’t for the right reasons.

      • Matt Swan

I don’t understand ya on that one. He changed cuz he wants the money back, baby pressured him, or what? Its def not like he wanted to, and to just pop it at a concert? Suspect as hell. He can tweet, FB, whatever kind ok BS to the masses any other time, but it took some dude with a videophone to get it? Not buyin it. Maybe you can give me clarification, cuz I’m not feeling it

      • Jahmal Johnson

You and everyone else, please explain how he’s trying to get the lost money back? At a F;n concert with a cell phone! No, think about it man, he would have done an announcement, FB, interviews, etc. if the money was the concern. It serves NO PURPOSE to say sorry at your concerts.

Is it too late for the family, YES, but that’s who that’s for, not damn sponsors , son. Think about it bruh

      • Matt Swan

YMCMB works off cash flow. Nothing interrupts the business. Loosing those sponsors might seem like a small thing to us short term, but how much was the total contract worth to him long term? Hell every time they have an internal beef, it gets squashed in the name of business meaning money. And no they don’t have enough of it in their eyes. But I do agree with your point that it serves no real purpose to say sorry at a concert

      • That’s what makes it seem sincere.

He was probably high & just feeling it.

    • Casor_G

That was a pathetic apology. He should make a song for all the brothers and sisters lost to ignorance

      • Should have seen his other one.

    • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

4 months later? It’s not accepted, he only wanted to clear the air AFTER the fact when Mountain Dew dropped him (???) u dumb monkey!

    Who??? Oh, lil wayne…..

  • tab58064

long overdue apology, but at least he gave one. Next time he should do a lil research before he writes lyrics that disrespect people who made it possible for him to make money off of being as ignorant as he wants to be!

    • bisolabliss

      Word! Respect Sir!

  • LiddyBug86

What a ignorant ass thing to say. I had never saw the picture of Till’s dead body. Wow, how could you implement that in a rap about p$**!. This nigga is gets lamer lamer, just like the rest of them bafoons in the industry. Next.

  • Dead wrong

I really wish I had never saw that image of Emit Till in the casket… it stays with you. In regards to Weezy, I’m glad he’s finally realizing that one should put SOME thought into their lyrics. His rise to fame was based off of random lines, lyrics, and metaphors from out of left field. I’m sure he recorded more than a few tracks without ever reading the lyrics he had juuuust wrote down while in a codeine haze.

  • D_Ably

The change of heart now? why now? Of course now. Of course he’s going to say sorry since Trayvon has brought the treatment of black people to the front of everyone mind, this is just a popstars way of keepin up with the flock. Watered down sheet.

  • ItGoesDownINtheDM

props to waynes … dont care why the change of heart … im just gonna give props

    • Stupid Comment Reply

I love this comment. Didn’t even read it, but… I love it anyway.

  • eddieknucks

The apology may be late, but if the recent Travon situation isn’t remenisent of Emmit Till I don’t know what is. I think Weezy is feeling the hurt like everyone else. Sometimes it takes shit like this for a person to see the error of ones ways. Now if he apologized for them tight ass clothes and wack ass sub culture he helped to promote I’d be impressed.

  • Wavpin

    too late bruh!

  • love all music

it’s never to late to apologize

  • love all music

can we as people come together and uplift one another? i know im reaching but we need to start somewhere.

  • King Cool

Well weezy did call himself apologizing earlier when he wrote that letter which they didn’t accept, so maybe he saying it personally to the fans now to be some type of sincere
