Hip-Hop Rumors: LL Cool J Takes A Dig At Jay-Z

LL is not a Jay-Z fan. Not at least like some of us. He’s got some stuff to say about the instant million that Jay-Z brokered through his deal with Samsung. Basically, he’s saying to him personally it matters that a million humans bought his music, not a company. Peep the quotes or watch the video from Diddy’s REVOLT TV.

“Numbers are Numbers. In the numbers is truth, but in terms of touching the people it’s a little different. For me as an artist I still want to be able to touch the people individually.”

“It still matters to me that people individually went out and bought my record. Although I still think a million sold is a million sold, but for me I like to know that a million PEOPLE bought my record, not a company bought a million copies of my record.”

In his new video, “Picasso Baby,” Jay really did reach out an touch the people. I’m just saying.

Nevertheless, LL’s new album, Authentic is just as good as Jay-Z’s in my opinion. Jay just has a better team pushing his project.  LL also rocked half of America with the Kings of the Mic tour, so lets not just call him a hater.

Dead at how that dude was dancing at the 2:43 mark. I see a lot of outta touch people trying to look cool.

  • Wavpin

    you jealous L

    • seveneightyseven

I agree a little bit, it was a smart business move, but did Jay truly go platinum? Did he really sell a million?

      • Wavpin

Yes … He is Platinum … 22 millions people tried to download the app the day of the release… Imagine if everyone was doing the same thing… every artist would have more money … He’s critisized become he did it first …

      • seveneightyseven

lmao, 22 million? homie I would say it myself but you won’t believe me but Jay said it himself in the interview with the breakfast club. DO you really think 20 million people were trying to download that?!?! no, the app didn’t work at launch and close to estimated 1-2 million people were hitting the launch button but it wouldn’t work but the clicks were counted……this nigga thought 20 million lmao hell naw im done

      • and it was free lol

      • Wavpin

If 1-2 millions was counted .. do the math for does who couldn’t be counted because of the bug … N E WAYS … if mp3 didn’t exit no one who have that discussion … Jay would be triple platinum by now … Jay is a Platinum artist …. period

      • seveneightyseven

I’m not sayin he’s not a plat artists, just correctin you on that 20 mill number, that shit is ridiculous lmao and like pope said, shit was free, and we all know we love free shit, so Jay wouldn’t be plat by sales alone that’s a fact, them people wouldve downloaded that shit online just like me

      • johnblacksad

don’t contradict yourself… if it was free and we all love free sh!t, why are you surprised 20 million people would hit the app?
damn, think outside the box for a sec… we live in a global world now… don’t know if you ever received that memo

      • seveneightyseven

Explainin this shit over the internet is hard enough but you should know they had the number 1 to 2 million already known as the amount of people who could get and had the app

      • seveneightyseven

        but this is just speculation

      • johnblacksad

are you serious n!gga?! what’s so surprising about 20 mill hits? do you have any idea how Hov be poppin in Asia, Europe etc… i bet in Japan alone a few million people tried to download…
i swear ya’ll stay tryin to hate period

      • johnblacksad

he did better… gave it away for free and taxed a big company in the process

  • Guest

at first i thought he was going to complain about hte material on MCHG. LL been making that Soulja Boy level music since 2000.

  • MrNoName2K

aw man Illy this aint nothing to kick up dust over, he’s just calling it like it is..and its real talk. Nice attempt to start to start some sh*t, these are 2 RESPECTABLE mc’s that dont need the bs

  • chosenxeno

All of this is moot. Jay just sold 500k.

    • Shakim 30013

Indeed so! Jay Z still sold 500k plus through Itunes and CDs.

  • water_ur_seeds

    LL is right…

    ll just hating

    he still mad from 2005

  • plsDontreply

so how white people still dont have rhythm?

    • just_some_bastard #ALCOHOLIC

I know……I hate to stereotype but after watching that video it was blatant. Maybe it was just the wrong white people.

    • Guest

lmao… yo wat dat got 2 do… nvm. smh

  • just_some_bastard #ALCOHOLIC

The girl in the white skirt…….HahahahahaHahahahaha! I think watching the people dance in this video made me hate this song. I still haven’t heard that album…….I just don’t care that much about it and it is probably overrated and over hyped.

    • Negro Peligro

MAN YEAH. THAT BOUT SUMMED IT UP. J Cole way better.

  • Negro Peligro

Yeah good way to cushion that blow BUT NEEDLESS TO SAY HE A HATING. Up this post if you downloaded Jay Z. Down this post if you downloaded LL. How do you categorize free99. I mean really plat givers need to get on these free downloads to platinum. That’s bout all I’m rocking with right now.

    • @Real_SirJamie

Has “hating” replaced the word “opinion”?

      • Negro Peligro

Depends on if you hating. Its called a slick diss.

  • Reblogged this on City Press.

  • VentKing11

If you think L is hating, you’re hating. He’s just giving an honest opinion on how he feels about his music getting at people on another level is all. That down deep reason all of us like music in the first place. L is just expressing what’s more important to him vs a milly bought plat plaque. If you rock a red truck and I say “naw, I would have got a blue one…” that’s not hating that’s just what I would’ve done. No difference here imo.

  • rodney

Who he mad at Jay or himself? he mad his last 5 albums went wood together, maybe brass. u aint relavent, u haven’t been since im bad.

    • Brian Andrew Smith

Every record LL has made has gone Gold or better, except the last two. Three x2 platinum. Three Platinum. Five Gold. That was 11 records from 85-06 all certified at least gold. Watch your mouth before you think about talking about LL.

      • rodney

Watch my mouth…. Hmmm well I kno where ur mouth is, on Cool James dick. He mad at Jay z cause he ain’t relevant only in ur house. Cool James might have gold & platinum records according to u (not even gonna check) but is any of it good? Old ladies like his music & whomever watches his corny tv shows. Maybe 7/11 Trac-phone will make a deal for Cool James next album. Hey u kno what I’m sorry I dampened ur day wit this attack on ur idol.

      • @Real_SirJamie

True hater. You admitted yourself “not even gonna check”. That is the problem with the world today. Negative people who spew nonsense without even checking facts, then resort to grade school name calling homosexual accusations when they are proven wrong.

      • rodney

Ur God ll cool j is the sipper of haterade homie. No I’m not gonna check. Idgaf what he did. First couple of album were good for that era. He mad a Jay z cause he ain’t get no love on def jam along wit method man & redman. We all entitled to say what we want correct? We make a statement add a joke it’s all fun in games until people take it all the way left. Get off Cool J dick (their is ur homo joke). We got bigger problems goin on in life to b so serious bout Cool James (problem in our world today) bored people over reacting online. Keyboard tuff guy.

      • @Real_SirJamie

I guess I’ll entertain this since I’m waiting on a download. All your points are not only invalid, but they are without merit. You said L.L. hasn’t been relevant since I’m bad. do you even know what relevant means?

having some sensible or logical connection with something else such as a matter being discussed or investigated
having social significance: having some bearing on or importance for real-world issues, present-day events, or the current state of society
SO… Once someone even MENTIONS him, HE IS RELEVANT. “My GOD L.L.????” WOW. I haven’t bought an L.L. album since “Mr. Smith” which i wasn’t really disappointed with at the time. You said he went wood or whatever? NONE OF HIS ALBUMS went below GOLD with most PEAKING at #1. Hell even some of Jay-z’s albums only went silver according to some R.R. companies. Only thing that saved them is shipping. (some companies look at shipping albums as sales because after they are shipped it’s pretty much up to the STORE to sell not the distributor, but you wouldn’t know anything about that.) Keyboard tough guy? I never threatened or disrespected you. I only stated facts. CLASS DISMISSED.

      • rodney

(Class dismissed) So I guess u schooled me in ur eyes… I’ve got u feeling some type of way… Hey u won!!! I guess. Have an relaxing Wednesday. I kno ur tired being that U was up all night googling & doing research. LL Cool J rules!

      • MikeMillz

+1 on the Tracfone joke homie. LL been had animosity towards Jay since the whole Def Jam president ordeal. I remember he took shots at Jay on that Queens song with 50 and Jay was laughing at him on the Angie Martinez show because he said some wack “goofy doofy” shit in his lines .LL is a legend but that doesn’t mean he can’t be scrutinized for being obviously bitter. His last few album were horrible BTW

      • rodney

Cosign that. These r things that these Cool J fans don’t wanna hear, don’t kno cause they trapped in the matrix & obviously i offended them. I was gon ask them where did they sign up for Cool J fan clubs? Online app, iPhone app or mail in wit a $15 admin fee

      • Brian Andrew Smith

his first four records are classics and the foundations of hip hop. i’m bad was on his second record, and his next two are critically acclaimed. you need to slow your roll fcuk boy. you can ignore facts all you want, that just proves that you are an ignorant fool. good luck in life.

      • rodney

Again sorry I got ur panties Ina bunch… “Twinkletoes, ur breaking my heart” hey now u got back up

  • Flea

LL knows what he’s talking about, he got decades in the game.
If he’s not on Jay’s nuts about this deal, you should respect dude opinion.

  • yesanditcounts

What LL said is the truth. One million copies sold to a company vs. one million copies sold to individual fans. It’s like having a cheat code for a video game, and feeling like your high score is better than a person who actually played the game honest. What bothers me more is people nowadays are confusing fact with being a form of hate.

    • Taihair Djehuty

At this point, Jay really doesn’t care if a million people went out and
purchased his music. He’s a business mad and is about making money now.
Jay-Z changed the way things are looked at with his deal with Samsung.
Business first and he’s a genius for that

      • RemixFag

He’s not doing much for the genre tbh. If he did the same thing but the music is high quality and inspiring, Id give him a pass.

But while the composition is still good, the content doesn’t do anything for the genre.

      • Taihair Djehuty

Doing much for the genre? Dudes sold how many records? With Dame Dash, spear headed one of the biggest record labels in hip-hop history. Signed J. Cole and was part of one of the most historic battles in hip-hop history. He doesn’t have to do much for the genre cause he already has. He’s a legend in the game. I’m not even a Jay fan and I can recognize that. Now it’s about business. He just went beyond the genre and he has now changed the whole music industry. Eminem can’t say that, Dr. Dre can’t say that, Nas can’t say that, nor KRS-One. The samsung deal was a great play. Touche Mr. Carter, touche.

      • True, but all those dudes, minus Dre’? can say they rap better that Jay Z, but that doesn’t pay the bills.

Jay Z is the #1 rapper, no doubt about that, maybe the G.O.A.T. when it comes to RAP, he just isn’t the G.O.A.T. of MC’ing or Hip Hop….but RAP (*The business side of Hip Hop) is in Jigga’s choke hold for sure. No disputing that.)

    • Taihair Djehuty

Jay’s doing what a 40+ year old rapper should be doing

      • RemixFag

        Not having a seat?

      • Taihair Djehuty

making business moves. If you rapping at 40 and still are just signing to labels and recording albums, something went wrong down the line. Jay could retire right now and still have long money

    • johnblacksad

  • gomer_1

LL is right and I don’t know what people you think Jay reached out and touched with this new video. All the hipsters that are gentrifying urban neighborhoods across the country cause that’s all I see in this video.

  • Big_Daddy_Scrumptious

LL Speakin the real but Jay-Z pulled a Boss move regardless of anything and thats what Jay is…a Boss. He stays settin the trends on album sales, lyrics, staying relevant…the list goes on and he’s always been considered the top of his game in all departments since he got into the game. It is what it is.

Any1 commenting against Camel Z is is wasting ur typing energy. In this world darkness dominates light. Which is ok. Some will HAVE TO DIE in order for the rest of us to live…

  • Global_Mission

Hatting ass Negros found somebody’s nuts to ride!..lol. Jay moved over 500,000 without the Samsung deal. Thats touching people. And how do you not touch people by showing young black artist that there are still creative ways to make money off of your album in todays environment. Also, people took time to download the album because they wanted it period. So much so it crashed the site. The album is #1 in the U.S and the UK. I think he touched a lot of people.

    • Jeff

I downloaded the Magna Carta album off of the internet to see if it was worth my money to actually buy it. Definitely wasn’t. As for Yeezy’s album, I downloaded & burned it, then went thru the tracks 2 times & threw it out my car window. But I’ll still play Jay’s album because it’s new material with a handful of decent songs.

      • Global_Mission

The point is that you took the time to download it, and not only that you still play it. It does not matter if its new or old because Trash is Trash. If you really didn’t like it and felt like it was trash then it should get no play but obviously you don’t think its trash so therefore you have been touched…lol

      • Jeff

Where did I say Jay’s album was trash? In my opinion, it’s not worth my money. I said Kanye’s album was trash. People have a lot of albums that they buy & it’s not good. They’re screwed because they bought the album & can’t return it. If the album is good, I’ll go out & support the artist regardless. I don’t have a problem doing that.

      • Global_Mission

Again, You still play it. If you didn’t like the Album then why play it. Just because you didn’t buy the Album does not mean you didn’t support it. You were added in the number of people who got it from Samsung of whom purchased the Album for you…lol. Only a Trash ass individual would beat something he/she did not like. Why even beat it if you don’t like it. Is it because you want to look and sound cool..hahaha. #Dummy

  • JondoE303

I don’t care about LL says he got dat ass murdered by canibus and like bis said the only reason why fools sided wit him is because of his so called “celebrity”

    • Ronald Allen Booher

Perhaps bis should have never did second round ko.

  • Thomas Smith

First of all how is LL Cool J saying anything about jay-z when that nigga got bodied by Jay-z battling outside a club in queens in ’95

    • Thomas Smith

I guest them old cuts didn’t heal correctly

    • Elaborate…

      • Ronald Allen Booher

They battled for sure…different accounts debate who won. I cannot picture LL winning.

      • Back then “Uncle L” was on the downside, but still a ferocious MC…..maybe ripe for the picking…but LL is definitely a gracious winner & loser.

Definitely worth an upload if some one still has it.

      • Ronald Allen Booher

It’s like canibus battling Wu tang or kurupt battling those guys in new York or DMX battling Jay.

we know it happened but people did not have camera phones like they do now.

      • True, I forgot about that, back then, cell phones were like $4 a minute & the “small” ones were them white motorola jawnts that were like 1ft long + a 1ft antenna….& digital cameras weren’t even around.

      • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

DOGZ u were watching Power Rangers, u missed it!

      • Thomas Smith

before jay-z was jay-z….he was going all over the 5 boroughs with Big Daddy Kane, Jaz-o battling everyone from DMX, GZA, LL Cool J……Remember the same way nobody wanted to sign nas, nobody wanted to sign Jay-z

      • Definitely Hip Hop history, @ronald_allen_booher:disqus can’t picture LL winning, but I can’t picture Jay Z winning.

That would have been a classic battle back then, but not so much now, with their corporate outlooks dominating their lyrics.

      • Jeff

You just named 2 more people that Jay kicked to the curb in the hip hop business, LMAO.

  • TheOnlyCoop

Sorry but LL is a hater. And he made that dumb ass song “Accidental Racist” song.

  • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

LL: 20 MILLION tried to download that APP. SO ur point is invalid like the lames that will comment on my sh*t. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Demill Bradford

I dont know if anybody caught this but to sell half a mil, after u gave a mil away for free, I dont know nobody who can do that…Really look at what hes doing, not to mention the buzz will push it to platinum easy. And that album was 14.99 day 1 at best as opposed to 9.99…do the math…

    • gomer_1

That just shows he bought his own albums cause I still haven’t heard anyone listen to or speak on jay new album outside of the internet.

      • Demill Bradford

Just an observation. 1 the internet is a big place, 2. If your on the internet how are you going to be talking to other people. 3. People generally now a days communicate via social media…aka The Internet…..ijs

    • n n

Ll is not mad at jay z over the album he is angry the way he was treated after def jam crapped on him over a company he help build. Ll Is lazy Now but if he gets back this radio days .nobody messing with him.

uncle said i’ll never sell a million records
i sold a million records like a million times”

aaargh… just go to hell LL!

  • n n

But why are people acing like jay z did this first ? Prince pioneered this ” think outside the box to get paid” way of selling music.

  • $11625525

In truth Jay-Z sold one master to a company who had a licence to redistribute it for free 1 million times.

That differs from apple or any other online store reselling a digital album 1 million times and it also differs from people like me who physically went to the store and paid £ for the CD.

It was great marketing because the bitrate of the album offered by Samsung was so low that, despite me downloading it from the internet, I felt the need to purchase the album to hear it properly.

I would bet that a large number of people who went on to purchase the album were people who got the free version, so in essence it’s like Samsung paid him to advertise his album for him, he got RIAA platinum certification for an advert and he’ll go double platinum, or platinum again, once he hit’s one million CD/Digital sales.

To the layman, that’s meaningless, to him it’s history.

    • very good point

    • That’s one way to look at it, the other is that Jay Z is the poster boy for commercial data mining via Samsung’s app, but either way, I bet people closest to the game can actually hear it gasping for air when it’s quiet, as it struggles to get out of Jay Z’s choke hold.

      • @Real_SirJamie

I forget what song but he said it himself, “I’m not a businessman, I’m a BUSINESS… MANNNNNN.”

      • That definitely sums it up!

  • Abrasive Angel

After doing that coonish song Accidental Racist his comments and influence are now null and void.

    • arrdeesss

But a 50 year old man still talking about selling dope in the 70’s isn’t coonish? Shut up fool.

  • 8Galaxy5

Agree with LL here,no doubt about it.

  • eddieknucks

Damn. A man can’t have an opinion without being called a hater? He was asked a question and give his opinion. He not all over the media on an anti Jay z rant. Y’all sound like a bunch of teenagers.

    • Jeff

I agree. He really didn’t diss Jay. He’s was giving his opinion & stated what he would’ve done personally with his music material. Just because he doesn’t agree with Jay’s approach doesn’t make him a hater. Now if he came out & said Jay is a clown & a sell out, that’s a whole different story.

      • *He would have taken the Samsung deal…

  • hoeyuno

The riaa didn’t even recognize that first mil. so it was nothing but a publicity stunt. the same ol formula to selling records isn’t working obviously. so trying new things definitely can’t hurt. how many did L’s sell the first week?? Unfortunately or fortunately these pop star rappers can’t put out any ol record and sell a mil the first week anymore. I swear there are a crap load of rappers scared to put out records now. but the underground is staying consistent tho and still has enough loyal album purchasers to.keep shit moving. Major labels are useless these days also.

    • @Real_SirJamie

You have good points. But really all Jay did was approach Samsung with a proposition for them BOTH to make money. Only difference is he used his album instead of his likeness or name. checking L.L.’s record though… he hasn’t had a certified hit since “Headsprung” in 2004 *(ouch) But to me? he gets more respect from me than Jay because L.L. has NEVER BACKED DOWN from any MC sneak dissing or flat calling him out. Ice T, Kool Moe dee, ANYBODY. You can’t even get Jay to answer a serious question. Ol non confrontational ass niqqa… *shakes head* Sorry, too much trap music.

    • $18916246

The riaa didn’t even recognize that first mil….Not true bruh…last Tuesday they awarded Jay-Z his platinum plaque MCHG.

      • word… they actually changed the way units are counted now to accomodate homie

  • Dontae Thornton

nigga sound old and bitter right now……jay sold over a half milli already plus the million sold to samsung…….cant win with these bum azz niggaz…..stop hatin LL

    • arrdeesss

They close to the same age homie. Z actually looks older.

      • Dontae Thornton

but he not bitter, thats the difference, all he need to do is respect what the homie doing and keep it movin…..

  • This stems back to when Jay was president at DefJam and kept sending LL straight to voicemail…. nothing more.. nothing less…..

  • Megaton

Guess Jay won’t be appearing on the remix for Accidental Racist now… #FOH

  • RichFromBX

how is this “sending a shot” – he gave his opinion on how that first million was sold and that while yes, a million were technically sold it wasn’t to fans.

it’s amazing how many people are calling LL a hater on this opinion but will also then b!tch about how white corporate america has ruined hip hip…you can’t have it both ways…

    • johnblacksad

      nah… LL makes a point…but what’s the point?

It ain’t like he sold a mill and Jay didn’t… matter fact Jay will still do platinum while he won’t… so again, the point was?!

Not blatant hate cause he merely tried to be slick with it but you and LL both know he reachin…

Really? 1 million fans purchasing your album is not the same as a corporation buying it to give it away for free… I’m glad LL dropped this jewel because i wouldn’t have notice… We really needed LL for that? Rain is wet too then

      • @Real_SirJamie

They both respectively sold millions together. With albums out at the same time. Maybe even same quarter but I’d have to double check that. But why can’t it just be his opinion? Instead of “hate” which is as overused as “swag” or “Y.O.L.O.”?

  • acapwn

This is just his opinion. I really don’t see this as a diss, to be honest but I’m sure Jay will take it there.

  • digitallife

Only a yougin’ would call LL Cool J a bum, bitter, a hater, etc…the mans resume speaks for itself. He simply gave his opinion when asked a question.

    • @Real_SirJamie

Thank you Sir. “Hating” is what Lil Wayne did when he told the crowd to say “F**k Miami Heat” during his concert.

While LL keeps Jay-Z’s name coming out of his mouth Jay doesn’t give LL a word. That is some of the reason LL is on this salty Jay-Z talk. Jay will act as this never happened, Jay acts like LL don’t even exist nowadays.

    • arrdeesss

Jay doesn’t say anything about anyone. Maybe he’s a coward.

  • Dead wrong

To play the devil’s advocate : Sometimes a hater masks his hate by claiming that he’s just giving his honest and objective opinion… but won’t mention what aspect of a person they’re actually hatin’ like a muhfvcker on… i.e. saying you don’t prefer a man’s style of clothing(truth) but not mentioning the fact that you’re really mad he has a gang of bad b!tches.

LL is NOT hating here though but I guarantee that a lot of other rappers hate this man’s success.

If there was ever a rap battle, I would love for these two to go at it. They never liked each other from the door and I put my money on LL over Gay Z anyday. Old school cats know where I’m coming from. Don’t sleep on LL as Cannabis has done. Remember Either? Don’t sleep on a nigga.

  • arrdeesss

Ni99as was screaming foul claiming Birdman bought a bunch of Lil Wayne albums. How is this any different? Soundscan even said fugg him.

    • Taihair Djehuty

it is different. He made a legit business move and then still said “Screw you album sales. I can give away a million of my records and still push 528K opening week.” Much different than having his buddy go and buy records.

I understand what LL is saying and it is not a diss, Jay just sit back and find a way to put his mark on things or be the innovator………while putting more $$$$$$ in the bank…..”fuck it I want a billion”………….with that said I don’t think Jay-Z is any less “hip hop” then LL

  • cphilano

Come on man! I’m an LL fan too, but he been coming at Jay for years. LL has always been about going at in rap for respect, and Jay never paid him that. Jay probably the only dude who didn’t pay LL respect and still thriving. It’s gotta be eating at LL. With that said what artist doesn’t like to know that a million people bought his his album? Where was LL going with that? It was still getting out to a million fans and probably more, and Samsung foot the bill. How is that not a win, win, win? Samsung promoted their mobile device, Jay-Z got the instant paycheck and the album in fans’ hands, and more than a million fans got the album.

We are in the internet world right now, and if you think this move is cheating instead of good business, you’re hating. That’s all there is to it. Cats are downloading these albums for free all of the time(most likely many of you MF hating right now in the comments), and Jay pulls a business move in which he gets guaranteed money and gets the album out to fans, but he’s wrong for it? i swear MF will get on their high horse about anything.

And the difference between Baby going out and buying a bunch of copies of Wayne’s albums and this is Birdman is the owner of the company selling the damn albums. It wasn’t a business deal. He cooked the sales. Jay actually sold the albums to an entity that wasn’t apart of his company.

Hate all you want, but that dude still went #1 despite the Samsung deal not being counted toward Nielsen Soundscan for Billboard. A million people already had his album, and 500K+ still went to cop it. I’m pretty sure LL would have liked that too.

  • krow132

No its not that Jay has a better team pushing his product that his album is more noticeable, its that LL Cool J has shitted on alot of his fan’s good faith by all the bullshit he has dropped in recent years

  • EfBe

If a company buys a million copies, then makes it available to a million Samsung users who downloaded the App. Isnt it individually reaching the people?????

    • arrdeesss

No it’s Samsung coming up with a gimmick to push their shitty phones.

  • LetsBeRealpeople

Can we just can the front, because you know “it’s ok to hate”. What is missing from the last 16 years of hip hop (mainstream) is the ability to man-up and say what you are not feeling, who you are not feeling-and call out the skill level of your opponent. For every, “You’re just a hater” you read as, “you’re just a punk”. “Hater” is just a catch-all-fade for folks to lean on when they have no ability to defend. Hence all this multi-million dollar milquetoast hip hop getting programmed and promoted. LL is one of the last to call is disdain by name. Not going the route of calling out some imaginary ma’fa-like some of y’all let be in all this hip hop news and music ’cause you can not brave.

Also this bull about “Jay not lyrical anymore, ’cause he on another level” blah blah is some GTFOHWTBS. That ma’fa can buy a vow, a “speak and spell”, a van gogh, and a ghost writer at his level of money. You sitting there being all good with remedial cache material.

  • MildManneredReporter

until he gets the same deal jay got…

  • arrdeesss

Every dumb monkey on here calling Cool J bitter and a hater but maybe he just don’t like the wack azz ni99a. Everybody don’t have man love for Gay Z like you fans do.

  • djames

Jay says “All for the Love of drug dealing” in this song.

Then we wonder why we get profiled as criminals –
