Exclusive: Hip-Hop Rumors: Busta Back To Destroy S**t?

It seems like every single time I look up, NYC is being destroyed in the movies. Why not Chicago or LA or maybe Wilmington, Delaware. But, nobody gets the privilege of being destroyed like NY. I remember this:

And this:

But, if you were there, who could forget this, where the whole city was leveled:

`
Looks like Busta Rhymes is coming back with a reprise of his classic 1998 album E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event): The Final World Front. That album was crazy and happened the year AllHipHop was created. Wow. Now, word is Busta is going to take a crack at a sequel, E.L.E. 2 to get back to form. I wonder if it will come through the house of Cash Money? Speaking of sequels, I hear Redman is working on Muddy Waters 2 also. Well, well, well….
E.LE.S 2, Busta Rhymes

Bussa Bust Down got away from that.

    • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

      #pause

      • >> In Riley’s voice : “You gay!”

      • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

        ok dogboy! congrats!

      • dee

you know when you say pause or no homo you have to be thinking about something gay to say those words then whos the homo think about it food for thought

      • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

so in that theory, even if u say or type the word gay, that you gay too? I swear u fools make excuses for everything dogboy does

    • Casor_G

      It was alright…LOL

    • Negro Peligro

I will say he got away from that.

    • DJ7

All about the money….I say again…something special is on the horizon fam…the SOUL in music is slowly b.u.t. surely coming full circle…

  • Wavpin

can’t wait to hear this …

  • 2012Industry1

E.L.E. wasn’t a Classic, but it was a dope album. Not “sequel” dope, but whatever!

  • junj03

    With singles like #TWERK IT
that shit wont be a classic at all no matter how they name the album…

    • Da Ledgendary

I doubt He gon put twerk that on there. he just put that out to keep up with the schoolers. Busta in his 40’s he too damn old to be on some twerk that bullshit

    • Megaton

That damn song is pure acoustic trash, but I still won’t mind seeing the models twerk it out in the video #justsaying

  • Ike’s Mood

busta on cash money is a joke that has not even been remotely funny…fail!!!

  • Romia Blue

    Rah Digga’s voice is missed…

    • MadVillain

the old Flipmode was tha sh!t (Rampage, Sham, Spliff, Rah Digga, Lord Have Mercy), these new “conglomerate” cats is lame as hell…

      • MrNoName2K

Rampage the Last Boy Scout was pretty raw..and very underrated

      • MadVillain

agreed, he wasnt the most lyrical but dudes voice was dope and he had a unique flow/delivery

      • Megaton

Sike!!! Rampage ruined 97.2% of tracks he ever spit on in his entire existence. His voice was the queue to fast forward… He single handedly had the worst verse ever on “Flip Mode meets Def Squad”

      • MrNoName2K

what!????? you buggin. Yo that track is classic and Rampage murdered it!!

  • Brainiac1ne

The coming and when disaster strikes is some of Busta Rhymes best work

  • DollasTX

    overrated

    • G. Lamont

Are you talking about the album or Busta?

      • DollasTX

        both

  • 7yoyo7

    E.L.E is a DOPE album!
    “NY, Jersey, chicago, aaaaaaaaaaaah!”

  • MrNoName2K

hopefully it will be a good one…buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut im waiting to see whats good with that Redman Muddy Waters 2…Redman never disappoints..

    • just_some_bastard #ALCOHOLIC

      Redman is great

    • ulostatlife

I love Redman’s music more than anybody but all his albums from Docs Da Name on have sucked…..

      • MrNoName2K

NOOOOOO DOCS DA NAME WAS A BANGER BRO!!!

  • When Desaster Strikes. That was pure energy. Those were times when I ran to the store to buy a CD. It was not only pure energy. Busta used to have intelligent lyrics.
    Used to have…

Regrow your dreads and cut those steroids instead.

    • dehova

I’ve always liked his style and energy but, I dunno, I feel a way seeing a grown black man of his age using the n word like some white kid that just got a ghetto pass. I don’t really like the N word. I hate it like we all hate RMFag

      • YeaMyNig

        ni99a please

      • YeaMyNig

U sound like a corny azz TOM

      • blackie_chan

        u sound like a dumbass

      • dehova

        I think you’re RMFag’s new plaything

      • danboy1386

people that say the n-word get on my nerves saying nigga doesn’t automatically make you racist or a bad person. id like to think most of us are intelligent enough to know what it means n be able to converse about it without sounding like we are 6 years old.

      • dehova

What is the point of saying it? The argument that “it takes away the power” is bull. If I started using profanities at a loved one of yours (or any one elses) I would rightly receive a “rap in the mouth”. There are plenty of other words that can be used. The mass use of this particular word stems from Blaxploitation films which is when, not so ironically, money was made. Ever since, it seems black (and now non black) entertainers are tripping up over themselves to use it. I’m not well informed enough to give a history lesson but I know the word was used to describe my race of people as sub human. I also know that a lot of what is in this world is of no use or value to me and that, all negative things I should steer clear of. This is one of them

  • dehova

Inspired by Gucci Mane, illSeed you ho, I’m calling you out. I wanna fight you. I wanna beat the quesadillas out of your starch belly, Perez Hilton disciple…..and this ain’t even a bad story, I just been waiting to say that.

  • YeaMyNig

aint nobody checkin 4 busta washed up a$$

  • soyhiphop

Bustas career is next to finished look who sign him. same people who sign limp bizkit lol and paris hilton

  • Ojay Juice Henry

we all know sequels that happen multi years later aint shyt beside only built for cubann links 2 which seem like he record that and never released it.

  • DJ_ANTO

busta quit,u callin twerk it a classic u could have stayed with dr dre

    • dehova

but he would never have released nothing again. Look how Dre did Rakim

      • ItGoesDownINtheDM

rakim did that dre released him …….. he aint max b the boy …..

  • Synista

Busta rhymes lost when he signed to ymcmb…he might as well kiss baby on the mouth!

  • Matt Swan

I’m not sure on ol Bussa bus. He destroys other folks songs: All I do is win, and CB’s look at me now, but he hasn’t been hungry since Genesis? And to sign with YMCMB takes his credibility to new lows. Speaking of ol heads on YMCMB anyone peep that new joint by Mistykal? Nope? Me either. As long as Bus is on there, he’s done. Could’ve been worse tho…sign to bad boy and “get the finga” too from diddy. Take that take that

    • $11625525

Busta no longer has J Dilla’s production to create magic with, so he’s gone to the “Safe House”; a place where he knows he could fart for 49 minutes and 56 seconds over 13 tracks and the YMCMB faithful will buy it because Wayne appears farting on a skit.

Busta is about numbers now, he has always found a way to stay relevant and this is just a new chapter in his book of rhymes.

I won’t judge the quality of the album until I hear it, but I know it will be liberally littered with the “N” word.

      • Matt Swan

The only way this could possibly be a “win: for Bus is the knowledge that he IS the best rapper in the crew. And if all else fails, he can crush all of em yelling WHO HAAA on a steroid rage

      • heavyboy

You’re accrediting Busta’s success to J Dilla? Busta had hits with tons of producers. I’m curious to know what hits they did together*

      • MadVillain

his best albums are those that were majority (atleast half the tracks) produced by DJ Scratch, Nottz & Dilla

    • ItGoesDownINtheDM

lol good observation actually them 2 need to do a track together that would be epic ….. but you might be right with egos you know how it goes … but them 2 on a record could be bananas …………………

      • MadVillain

they did a track on E.L.E.

  • Vic Sage

That bussa bus sht ..” Brooklyn baby..” Respect Flatvush Massive .”

  • MadVillain

E.L.E. 1 of my favorite hardcore rap albums, i know all tracks back to back (even the skits). still bump it to this day, in my books that sh!t is a CLASSIC!

  • NEWSKULL

where was he?… Anyway Busta lost his mojo since hmm forgot the song but the chorus was “Baby If you give it to me”… that was the end right there… lol and that nigga had the nerve to make fun of Ja Rule singing… anyway …Unless the “Break Your Neck” Busta shows up please ain’t no niggas gonna check him out…

Busta blue print will always remain in Hip-Hop though…Busta is unique ain’t nobody can duplicate his ass… Just the way he spit with his particular swag and adlib …and he goes on and on and on ….and he makes sense while doing it… I am saying UNIQUE!… The only side of him they can copy is on the video side of things… Busta is the main reason why people focused and stepped their game up when they were dropping their videos… hmm let’s say Busta and Missy… Still they are only trying…

I mean compare “Break you Neck” and lil wayne “I ain’t got no worries”…

    • hoeyuno

missy Elliott got rich trying to copy busta rhymes style.

  • KILL NEW YORK RAPPERS

bustah rhymes> hot new york garbage

  • hoeyuno

I thought redmans muddy waters 2 was a myth like detox and bigfoot.

  • ONE

I remember buying his first solo album when I was ten, and it’s a shame to see a nigga I grew up listening to degrade himself by signing to YMCMB along side f*ggot n*ggas like Drake. Bustah aint been the same since he cut his dreads off anyway in my opinion, so unless this n*gga decides to grow his dreads back ………………

    • ItGoesDownINtheDM

busta is still nice but i was never a big fan like that have yet to buy a busta rhymes album … but dude is just as onpoint today as he was back in his wooha days …

  • JondoE303

Like most sequels it will never be as good as the first…
