Messy Marv

Hip-Hop Rumors: Video Of Messy Marv BEAT DOWN Emerges!

This ain’t no rumor. This is factual as it gets. I missed this rumor, myself, and then the news section picked it up. BUT, there is a new development and that is there is video! DAYUM!

RELATED: Bay Rapper Messy Marv Beaten Bloody In Reno, Nevada

Messy Marv is a legend but this is not the way most legends are treated. Apparently, those that purport to be Bloods in Reno, NV didn’t care either way. They beat the crap out of Messy Marv, video taped it, instagrammed it and tweeted it too. The video just leaked out and it ain’t pretty.

  • Banksy

There is not another field of entertainment where the entertainer gets treated like shit than Hip Hop. I swear to God. Niggas love beating up, robbing and in some cases killing rappers. I think it has to do with two reasons 1. Rappers have the biggest mouths in entertainment and 2. rappers refuse to leave the hood they grinded so hard to make it out of. BTW the vid doesn’t work. I watched it on WSHH

    • Bloblo Escobar

thugs don’t have respect for anyone, when someone talks about what they have or how tough they are someone wants to test them.

        Real shit

    • @Real_SirJamie

You must not be familiar with Rock & Roll. But back in those days there weren’t camera phones to catch each and every instance that happened.

      • Banksy

No way in hell you can compare what happens to rappers to what
happens to Rock and Roll heads. Because despite drugs and alcohol there is not no where near the same type of street connection to Rock as there is to rap which means that the level of violence can never be compared. But hey don’t take my word for it Google the number of rappers that have been murdered and than do the same for Rock and Roll stars. Try it, I’ll wait.

      • @Real_SirJamie

If google is your main source of knowledge/reference than your opinion holds no merit. Contrary to your belief sir, EVERYTHING isn’t on the internet. But I can name at least one instance of violence/controversy and one instance of where a fan murdered a Rock star. Your mention of a “street connection” is weird as rock stars have connections with biker gangs and sometimes terrorist groups. But since you can’t “google” it I guess it isn’t true.

      • Banksy

Ok well than I guess the Illuminati have sealed the records of rock and roll violence as a way to suppress the black man. Fact of the matter is there are way more violent acts that happen in Hip Hop than any other genre of music and or art form. That’s the truth and you know it. You just don’t want to admit it because you’re trying to make this a white v black thing. Which totally makes your opinion biased and non valid, especially considering that I’m black. How about this for every one Rock singer that you can find that has been murdered I bet I can name atleast 2 rappers that have been murdered. BTW I didn’t need google to tell me about JMJ, Pac, Big, Big L, Scott La Rock, Freak Tah etc..shall I continue?

      • @Real_SirJamie

All of the people you named had problems outside of rap that contributed to their deaths it wasn’t because of rap. I’m not sure I’m following your point. Maybe I’m not the one turning it into a white vs black thing here. Dime Bag Darryl was murdered by a crazy fan, I’m not sure you know who that is but sure you’ll google it. Are you just picking black people that got murdered and trying to relate it to rap because they happened to be involved in hip hop in some way, shape or form? Because you’re starting to sound like the media. You put JMJ up there as if he was a rapper that got killed because of his music. He was a DJ sir and his death is speculated to be over drugs. In that aspect his personal life has nothing to do with hip hop. Same with Big L. Scott got murdered trying to DEFUSE a situation. Not playing into some stereotype. Another thing you have to remember is hip hop is barely 40 years old sir. Rock & roll stars have been fighting and getting murdered since the 50’s (Sam Cooke, Chuck Berry, Bobby Fuller, Henry Booth) hell I can name more Rock Stars than you can rappers simply based on that fact alone. (Rock is older) but if you’re just going to start naming Lil Terry from up the street who THINKS he can rap and got shot because of street s**t, c’mon now… Freaky wasn’t even a rapper he was a hype man. And have you even LISTENED to some rock and or death metal? Some of those dudes are more gangster than 50 cent or Tupac will ever be or was.

      • Banksy

What’s funny about your comment is that you’re trying to argue my point but in a way you’re also agreeing with it. I said “there is not no where near the same type of street connection to Rock as there is to rap which means that the level of violence can never be compared.” Than you said “All of the people you named had problems outside of rap that contributed to their deaths it wasn’t because of rap.” Which is basically saying what I just said. Btw thank you for clarifying that JMJ was a Dj and not a rapper because lord knows I didn’t know that before you mentioned it. The same way I didn’t know that Stack Bundles or Proof weren’t rappers neither.

      • @Real_SirJamie

“Street Connection”? Every culture has violence it’s all about what you pay attention to. All the uninformed kids in their little world they call “the hood” think “white boys don’t get down like that” I know because I used to be one of them. Until my mom called herself “moving us out of the hood” only to move us to a nice neighborhood (us literally being the only black family) and me find out that the “good white kids who wasn’t bout that life” were drag racing their parents cars, while drinking alcohol, fighting, stabbing, shooting guns (from their parents safe or gun cabinet) and smoking MORE THAN weed. And they didn’t need rap to do it either. The difference is the judges and other parents looked out for them. I’m not really trying to argue with you sir. As you pointed out we actually agree on some points. I just disagree with others. I’m still trying to figure out this “street connection” you’re talking about because as I’ve already proven (and you won’t address it) everyone is prone to violence. Rock stars were smoking dope and ruining hotels before rap was even invented technically. And Rock stars have had connections, friendships and problems with biker gangs and terrorist organizations long before bloods and crips or some petty “street connection” you may be referring to. And these bikers are way worse than your average “street” person, they aren’t going to just shoot you or get 4 or 5 guys to jump you at your concert. They’re going to blow your car up with your pretty little wife in it. I still remember Tommy Lee said he was going to fight Axel Rose because Axel was saying he would kick their lead singer’s wife’s baby out of her stomach. So I don’t know what you’re trying to relate the word “Street” to. By the way, Proof and Stack were rappers. Or was that an attempt at Sarcasm ? Please tell me it was…

      • Banksy

What exactly don’t you understand about street? Should I niggas in the hood? Should I say niggas in the trap? Should I say that most Hip Hop labels are funded on money from dope sales? WTF am I saying that is not common knowledge? And no one said that other racial groups can not commit violence seriously grow up and stop trying to act dumb (unless you’re not acting than I’ll give you a pass). What I am saying “sir” is that on average rappers find them selves in more bull shit than any other artist in another genre of music. This includes, contemporary, jazz, rock, country, blues etc.. And once again sir when I’m speaking about “artists” I’m not referring to race because I am aware that multiple genre’s of music contain multiple races of people. However to put it even more simpler ratchet shit has ratchet consequences and there is not another genre of music in this day and age (not in Chuck Berry’s or Ray Charles age) that has more ratchet shit going on than Hip Hop. Now if you can’t understand that sir, the same way you couldn’t understand whether me mentioning Stack Bundles or Proof was sarcastic or not than I can’t help you.

      • @Real_SirJamie

Now you’re contradicting yourself, being disrespectful, and argumentative. “Most hip hop labels are funded on dope money and sales.” I didn’t know Jimmy Iovine and Rick Rubin were in the streets like that (proper use of sarcasm). This isn’t the 90’s my friend when Eazy E gave Heller 250K in dope money (which is rumored and not proven) to start Ruthless, or Dame and Biggs frontin Dame the bread to start The Roc. Times have changed. There aren’t really many record companies out these days that are solely rap or hip hop anyway. Labels like BrickSquad or C.T.E. don’t count because they all have PARENT COMPANIES. And is your statement about rappers finding themselves in more trouble than any artist of any genre really accurate? or based on someone who doesn’t do research on other genres? Because if you think those white people don’t cover things up (like they have throughout history) just so they seem better or less likely to get in trouble, then you are truly lost and hard to find. Of course in THIS day and age RAP is more POPULAR so it’s REPORTED on more. But what ROCK music websites do you visit that relate to “All Hip Hop”? Look at THEIR rumors THEN come back with some more insight as to what’s going on. Doesn’t look like I’M the one being bias here. And by the way, The grade school insults aren’t going to bait me into some type of name calling back and forth sir. So don’t try to mock me or anything of that nature. I’m keeping it as civil and adult as I can be. Anyone who frequents this board (and some who know me outside of this website) can tell you I don’t get down like that. But if your knowledge doesn’t extend outside of your little hood mentality, then I’M not the one who needs to grow up.

      • sakiru oresanwo

Both yourself and Bane make some good valid points and where both of you may not 100% agree on this…..yet, it balls down to one thing…..SOME RAPPERS DO DUMB SH!T THAT GETS THEM IN PHUCKED UP SITIATIONS(intentionally spelt wrong)

      • @Real_SirJamie

I agree. White people (Caucasians, Anglo’s, Europeans, WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL THEM) don’t have an ignorant street mentality. They don’t look at street signs and say, “I’m going to name my gang after THIS street and live and die for it even though I have a family!” They stopped doing that in the 60’s (see gangs like “The Jones Street boys, Outlawz, Pissed Off Boys From Bloomington) and figured “Hey, why don’t we just become COPS and run EVERY STREET. But he contradicts himself by saying “I’m not bringing race into it” then BLATANTLY saying, “No other genre of music has the same level of violence because they don’t have NIGGAZ IN THE TRAP/HOOD”. I’m starting to feel he’s just being confrontational and contentious. But I do agree with many of his points. We as a PEOPLE need to shape up. Him and I arguing don’t help that though. Neither does his Hood Mentality.

      • Banksy

After reading this comment, I now know that you have not read any of my replies to you because if you did you would note that I never said “No other genre of music has the same level of violence because they don’t have NIGGAZ IN THE TRAP/HOOD”. Matter of fact it’s silly that you would make up a quote considering that what I said is in black and white and can be clearly scene and read by anyone. Clearly you just skimmed through my comment looking only at what you wanted to see to further an argument that wasn’t there in the first place. Good Day to you again, this will be my final reply.

      • sakiru oresanwo

Either way I thank you both for your debate as it was quite informative, shows you 2 have ample information about certain things. The world would be boring if we all agreed on the same thing.

      • Matt Swan

And believe it or not fellas talking about the issue no matter what side of the fence you are on, is the most important thing. No one knows it all, but all know some, and that’s how we can get better as a race. I say keep going not because I think one is above the other, but the more you put on the table (valid points and information), the more there is to soak up in the minds.

      • @Real_SirJamie

When I asked what you meant by “street connection” because ALL RACES and genres have violence you said and I quote “What exactly don’t you understand about street? Should I niggas in the hood? Should I say niggas in the trap? ” So I did NOT make up a quote. And you’re right, that CAN be clearly read by anyone. And it can also be seen that what you’re accusing me of is actually what YOU did. Because I addressed each and every one of your points, and you only addressed 1 or 2 of mine. But oh well, as you stated it can CLEARLY be seen.

      • Casor_G

Look at me King is losing this one….No comparison. Violence afflicts way more hip hop artists than any other form of music. Denying that simple reality is silly

      • Banksy

We can agree to dis agree. My initial comment was based on my observation and my observation alone. It’s not my place to convince you other wise, the same way it not your place to convince me other wise. So on that not note God Bless and good day to you. 1

      • heavyboy

bruh..even if what you were saying was right, (which it’s not), the comment was referring to the present….. you going all back in history and ish*

      • @Real_SirJamie

He never mentioned a time frame in his comment. and he engaged me on that point. Are you a mind reader? By the way our conversation is over.

      • heavyboy

the comment said “there is not”……… didn’t say “there never was”….. therefore the time frame is implied as being the present….. it doesn’t have to be mentioned*

      • Casor_G

        Yeah he was way off

    • ItGoesDownINtheDM

plus you caping for dudes who be asking for treatment like this on every 3 min song they make … ijs dont get all mad when SOME REAL ISH happens ….

      • Papi Peligro

You need to check yo mindset what does Minoritiy rate in a city have to do with CRIME.

      • Super_Hero

As a minority, I can tell you the higher the Minority rate, the more crime there is. Pound for pound Minorities live in poorer communities so naturally the crime rate will be higher. It doesn’t help that in many minority communities, we glorify violence and turn it into Street Cred and youtube videos.

  • This doens’nt make Marv look weak. This could happen to anybody. It is pretty lame of the dudes to do something like that. Get a job or sale drugs
