50 Cent Fake Cries And Really Acts In Audition For “American Gangster” (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) 50 Cent has 20 acting credits to his name in his 8 year acting career which began with 2005’s semi-autobiographical Get Rich or Die Tryin’. One acting credit you never will see is Ridley Scott’s 2007 American Gangster, however the audition tape has surfaced.

In the 4 minute audition tape, 50 Cent acts out lines for the role of Huey Lucas, one of the brothers of Denzel Washington’s Frank Lucas. The role ultimately went to Chiwetel Ejiofor, the lead actor in the Oscar-bound 12 Years A Slave.

According to Gawker, former William Morris Joanna Wiles and Dana Sims were representing 50 Cent at the time of the audition tape.
