Freeway Rick Ross: Jay Z’s Drug Dealing Past Is Fake And Rick Ross Getting Police Money

(AllHipHop News) The game has always been said to be sold and never to be told and Freeway Rick Ross is disgusted by Jay Z’s recent interview with Vanity Fair.

During an interview on The Murder Master Music Show Ross, who has had an ongoing legal dispute with Jay Z collaborator Rick Ross over copyright infringement, accused Jay Z of similarly fabricating his drug dealing past:

I was just reading on the airplane the other day in Vanity Fair with Jay-Z in it talking about that he sold crack. I was just reading it and it was so corny. These dudes just don’t keep it 100. They was good boys and went to school and got college degrees and somebody gave them a good job and they doin’ alright. Everybody wanna be D-Boyz but they don’t have real D-Boy stories. When you read what they said it looks like a news reporter wrote it for them.

In the Vanity Fair article, Jay admits to have been a drug dealer in the past and described how it helped his present business acumen:

To be in a drug deal, you need to know what you can spend, what you need to re-up. Or if you want to start some sort of barbershop or car wash—those were the businesses back then. Things you can get in easily to get out of [that] life. At some point, you have to have an exit strategy, because your window is very small; you’re going to get locked up or you’re going to die.

“Freeway” Rick Ross did not leave the incendiary accusations simply for Jay, as he accused Maybach Music Group founder Rick Ross of receiving police funding to disseminate music to incite violence in urban communities:

I believe [rapper Rick Ross] is being financed by the police union and keeps spreading bullsh*t to the youngsters so they can keep filling up the penitentiaries because he ain’t selling no music but they keep putting him on the radio and putting out all these big expensive videos but he ain’t selling no music so somebody is shootin’ off money. I believe its the police union behind it.

Normally I would drag Freeway for his heckling but there might be some truth to it. Jay is as much of a fraud as Rapping Ross but what dudes like Freeway gotta understand is expecting rappers to be real is like expecting wrestling to be real. Although I agree with Freeway I think he focuses on these dudes too much while seeking them out for support. Be consistent Freeway. You can’t knock entertainers for being fake then say Nick Cannon is perfect to play you in a movie. Really? What the fukk did he ever do to support that? See my point? Real ni99as can’t talk about what they did cause they’ll have to pay one way or the other. Only the frauds can so the frauds do. Investigate Jay and Officer Ricky and you have nothing. Investigate someone really in the life and you’ll find skeletons. Let the suckers have their lane. Only suckers fall for it anyway. They all deserve each other.

    • @Real_SirJamie

Monte as always I agree but I don’t, maybe he just likes Nick as an actor. And Hulk Hogan made a good point about wrestling when his wife’s trainer said it was fake. Tell Mick Foley’s missing teeth and concussions wrestling is fake, Tell Stone Cold’s knees its fake. If you mean the “beefs” and dialogue then of course. Only the kids can’t see that. Obviously some of the moves are scripted and not that painful too. But lets say you or I get in the ring… we’ll get hurt because we aren’t trained athletes. You’re on point most of the time though.

      • Montezuma1

Well even in scripted activity things go awry and that’s when “accidents” happen. lol. Freeway is disgruntled. Doesn’t make him wrong. He got caught up in his own hype. What he did is nothing to be proud of. He had a movie situation before he got out of prison. Thought the offer wasn’t enough and now 4 yrs later and several failed attempts to sue he comes off as a heckler in the crowd. No one cares. That’s where he miscalculated. You can’t get corny fans to reject an artist for being one of them. Freeway is the one who’s out of place. Show biz isn’t his lane. Most street dudes are always complaining about fakeness in entertainment because they feel their credibility should entitle them to something and it does, just not in entertainment. Everyone gotta recognize what their lane is and find it. His complaints are usually from a personal perspective. More important than them being fake is the fact they are tools of deception that mislead the uninformed and uneducated. That to me is a legitimate criticism and one with broader appeal.

      • Casor_G

Long story short he needs to shut up and find a hustle

      • Willie Stewart II

I don’t know who the hell you are but you are one intelligent ass dude. I’m going to follow your posts whatever that entails.

      • Montezuma1

Thanks brother. I do it for the people. I seek out the sick where they lay. lol

    • yomamma

that’s the realest comment I’ve read on here so far.

He started out as a back up dancer for Digital Underground. He went to acting school. All his friends were white kids a a teen. He was a ballet dancer. He never got arrested till after he started rapping. He was from the EAST COAST!!!! he didn’t move to cali till he was about 18 where he then lived with a white woman who tutored him and became his manager. TUPAC was one of the Fakest Rappers EVER!

      • gamer Ned

2pac was overrated He was all hype. You name it Media, beef, movies etc….. Let me brek it down. 2pacs first 2 albums both went GOLD!!!! His 3rd album ME against the World sold only 1.5million!!! He didn’t start really selling till he joined death row and started beef with rappers like biggie etc….. his 4th album All eyez on Me out of nowhere sold 9million. So just 1 year after his 3rd album his 4th album magically sells 9million. 2pac was overrated!!!!!!! he was all hype. Also he was a Studio Gangsta. He was from new york. He was a back up dancer. Went to acting school. He lied in 90% of his rhymes.

    TOTALLY AGREE WITH HIM.

  • wonder

Why do many African Americans respect those who sold drugs and killed people?

    • digitallife

That’s quite a generalization…why do white people love guns and the confederate flag..see how that works?

      • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

        not really. nice try jamar!

      • wonder

I’m not white however, I’m speaking from experience when I say the majority of people who worship people like Rick Ross happen to be African Americans. That’s just the cold truth.

      • digitallife

Majority of people don’t even know who Rick Ross is..either one drug dealer or rapper..white people celebrate Christopher Columbus, Seward, and countless other murderers who they shove down our throats in the education system…living in denial over being white though with your newly minted profile.

      • your a fukkin idiot. white people worship ross…you have to understand, in the urban community, we (african americans) see drug dealing all the time. it is the majority of whites who are unfamiliar with these circumstances so they become intrigued. if rick ross put out a biographical movie i gaurantee he’d get more white sales than black

    • Brooklyn Stoop

so i guess your the only white person who wasnt into breaking bad

  • digitallife

I was crucified on this website for saying this several times…but now that Rick Ross says it I guess it’s ok…so i’ll say it again..Jay-z was a hood celebrity from the age of 15..he went from Jaz-o to Big Daddy Kane and anyone who knows anything about BDK knows drugs or drug dealing was and is a no-no.

    • Dubz

How do you become a celebrity in the hood if you wasn’t selling dope or playing basketball?

      • digitallife

By appearing in “Hawaiian Sophie” on Ralph McDaniel’s video music box..youtube it..he’s in from the 1:22 mark and on.

      • Dubz

He wasn’t 15 when that song came out. And he sure as hell didn’t make enough money off of working with Jaz-O to help create roc-a-fella

      • digitallife

He wasn’t 15 when the song came out but that was the byproduct of Jaz being hot in the streets meaning wherever Jaz was so was Jay-Z going back half a decade before that…go read the calvin klein (not the fashion designer but the brooklyn OG) interview in feds it’ll give you more insight as to what i’m talking about. Rocafella was formed with Biggs money and Dame’s business education and jay’s talent.

      • Dubz

His run with BDK wasn’t very long, he then found Roc-A-Fella with Dame and Biggs….dude grew up around guys like B.I.G and AZ…everybody around him were hustlers. And a few stories people have vouched for.

      • digitallife

Jay-Z did not grow up with Big..they met while trying to seek deals after Jay-z got shelved at relativity, a contract dame got him out of and led them to partnering up and bringing in kareem biggs as the financier. That lexus jay had when he first came out was a Kareem’s gold lexus..Jay-Z has been selling the masses Kareem Biggs life from day one…listen to the single Jay-z is featured on while he was on relativity he ain’t talking about no dope game at all..but 5 years later he’s rhyming about being the black scarface..in fact Jay-Z had a record contract when BIG was still selling dope and rhyming on the block as a high school student.

      • Dubz

Jay-Z went to Highschool with AZ, they school closed down and he went to the same high school with Big….but Jay-Z never graduated highschool.

  • wonder

All this drug dealer & murderer worshipping in many African American communities disappoints me. Woulf you want your daughter or sister to date a man like Rick Ross or Jay-Z?

    • digitallife

You want to talk about murderers…ok my caucasian friend…let’s look at the native american’s and the african slaves..who was responsible for hundreds of thousands of murders of those ethnicities from 1492 to circa 1886? The white man…that’s who.

      • beezy

        Your point?

  • hoeyuno

Most of us aint stupid enough to think jay was scarface….and Rick Ross’s rawse rumor being funded by the police union…haha come on Ross..you were humble when you got out now your just getting mad your 5 mins is up.. ain’t no police union need to pay shit to keep ppl commiting crimes..

    • digitallife

You’d be surprised at how many people think Jay really moved kilo’s..

      • Freebe Jackson

its no to far fetch…i mean jay z old he grew up in the crack era….everybody had kilos lmao

      • digitallife

Kilo’s were falling from the skies I suppose

      • Freebe Jackson

        ummm pretty much….

      • ….literally falling from the sky

    • @Real_SirJamie

Actually it isn’t that far fetched. The label isn’t going to keep funding and promoting something that isn’t selling. So the money has to come from somewhere…

      • digitallife

He’s got a 360 deal, he’s profitable from his show money which is always the biggest chunk of earnings in an artists life.

      • @Real_SirJamie

You’re speculating on his contracts and earnings. And a “360 deal” would imply that the label ISN’T giving him money. Not that they fund him.

      • digitallife

He’s managed by Lyor Cohen, the only person doing business with Lyor that doesn’t have a 360 is Jay-z..the list goes on and on..from Trey Songz to Rick Ross all under 360 deals..not speculation either fam.

      • @Real_SirJamie

Lyor isn’t Rick Ross’s manager. Where do you get your info? Google Wiki?

      • digitallife

Lyor isn’t managing Rick Ross…ok..well tell me who got him the distribution deal for Maybach Music…I get my information first hand..this is the family business. Been in the game since 1982.

      • Freebe Jackson

yeah Lyor does manage rick ross

      • @Real_SirJamie

Don’t believe everything you google sir. Most things LOOK good when read, THAT’S why they are printed. Not to insult your intelligence, I’m just saying…

  • Eastportirican

The dude freeway Rick Ross needs to stop being bitter and get a life! Not that I believe in all the hype about the rapper Rick Ross, I am from Maryland and can personally cosign on the exploits that Jay speaks about. With that said, a drug dealing past is nothing to glorify but rather an example of the changes you can make in your life and use the same mentality and drive to create a successful empire that is legitimate!

      • brotha_man

name one person thats never been caught

      • Dubz

        El Chapo

      • brotha_man

is he not a fugitive? the reason that he has not been “physically caught” is probably because the cartel handled him already. using el chapo as ur example only proves that criminals have a criminal records and get caught. where is jay-z and rick ross paper trail. Ross claims that he was one of the biggest dealers in MIA, you mean to tell me not one of his soldiers got caught and dropped names. *see nicky barnes, Freeway rick ross, frank lucas, big meech, etc.* they always get caught

      • Dubz

Naw he still alive. But when you in the game for that long you are bound to be caught…that wasn’t Jay-Z…I know cats that did their thang on the streets…never got caught and got out the game.

      • brotha_man

they were all probably small time crooks. they way jay and rick tell it, they were kings of their city.

everybody gets caught, young buck, that is the point. let that be a deterrence before u decide to sell your little drugs and contribute to the destruction of the community. there are two ways to view things operative and speculative, sstop viewing the world one way and open your eyes. im not defining in the literal

      • Ces Alejandro

once again, how are we supposed to know of someone that has never been caught? never been on the news? if what you tryna say is that niggas do get caught, yes its true. but not everybody gets caught. & i know what im talking about. The technology back in the crack era wasnt even as advanced as it is now.

      • brotha_man

        again, speculative and operative

  • RapItUp

I wish this guy would just crawl back under his rock already.. we know, you’re still very much bitter your drug dealing/real name/whatever is being used by another guy who didn’t live the same lifestyle as you (would that make it better if he did? Would he get a pass then?) and now you’re taking shots at Jay, a guy who was definitely in the streets, making money in some capacity. (not making 2 mil. a day, but he never said he was) This guy is constantly bitching about something, just give it up man! Cast Nick Cannon in the role, actually get some scratch back since all yours got swooped by the Feds, and just be a coke-dealing legend, since that’s all you have to hold on to! A “used to”. Now guys are out here getting legitimate money and it urks the hell out of him.

Yea, these guys went to school. They know how to read. A lot of guys pitch a little meds to their peers, we are all around it and can all use the pocket change, but some people had a plan. He decided to work w/ the govie and distribute yola to HIS(OUR) people and destroy his own community. I’m sure the guilt eats him up every night and THIS is what we get. Freeway Ricky, please STFU!! If you went missing today, nobody would miss you! Tired of seeing your old tired mug on this website talking about what other cats is doing! I hope you read this, because I know you have nothing but time!

    • SBRon

      Gotta agree…

  • iamwhoiam

How can he say Jay Z sounds corny. I’m sure Jay did his thing back in tha day, maybe not as big as frwy Ricky. Truth is many dealers don’t, but I’m sure Jay balled out in his own right. The dude frwy Rick always sounds a lil bitter when I hear his interviews. How the hell does he know what Jay Z did way back then??? Hate hatehatehate!!!

    • That_N

I think his point is that Jay never moved as much as he claims. It doesn’t add up. Not many dudes moved tons of coke and never do a day in jail.

  • Dadon850

I said it long time ago. Rick Ross ain’t selling records, has never went Plat, yet he has a record label, distribution deal and is everywhere. Why??

    • Ohskiwhoski

A lot of people misunderstand the game if Def Jam gives ross 500,000 to make an album and the album makes 1.5 million thats a profit they don’t care how many albums you sold they care about the bottom line he is clearly making the company money or they would not finance anymore albums its not about how many albums you sold how much money did you make?

  • gamer Ned

You gotta understand who Pac was and what he stood for. True he wasn’t a great lyricist but the man had somethin to say and alot of people heard it. And I’m sorry but sellin those millions of records was no magic. Pac rapped bout shit that was relatively a political rapper of sorts. But fafr from overrated…

I get what he’s saying but the real Ricky Ross wasn’t the last of his kind. True ALOT of rappers never seen more than afew zones let alone a whole thang, but at the same time theres plenty of hood millionairs out here. I’m not glorifying it but I’m just sayin…I can respect his message that he’s puttin out, but If you watch Cocaine Cowboys 1 theres a guy on there who says he dealt with the real ross and he said Ross highly exaggerated his profits and distribution.

    • Nah, peep the Iran Contra hearings & boxer Alexis Arguello. ( 85-8 65 KO’s)
He was a 3x world champion, who knocked out Tyson’s trainer, Kevin Rooney.

Them dude took the WBC light weight champion, and put him in fatigues, with a rifle, and put him on the front line. Took all his doe, and had him in combat, like the U.S. government “TRIED” to do to Muhammad Ali.

They would hit off the Present Ronald Reagan, through his CIA Chief, President George Bush #1, who hit off Fox New’s “War Stories” host Oliver North, who hit off Danello Blandon, who who hit off Freeway Ricky Ross.

      Exaggerated levels?

      10 Bricks? 100 Bricks? 1000 TONS?

It’s all documented in the senate hearings.

‘Chet couldn’t fit on a Cessna, they needed heavy duty cargo planes, designed for heavy lifting, etc.

      Ninjaz was moving industrial weight.

      • iamwhoiam

Yea I seen them reports, I know the stories. He was no doubt a heavy hitter movin all that weight. I’m just sayin he looks down on some of the street official dudes turned rappers just cause they didn’t get to his level. It’s different levels to it and Jay Z is an example. He did it big on his own level. Theres a hand full of rappers who was deep in the dope game and cleaned up they’re money in rappin. Had a mill before rap. So what if a “D boy” went to college….play the system. I just think he sounds bitter like the old head who’s always talkin bout “back in my day” there are plenty other fake past rappers he could have brought up, but not Hov….he should just let it go already.

      • Hov? Yeah, on Rick Fraud?

        He should ride him forever.

      • iamwhoiam

He moved alot but the amount was exaggerated even in court. Keep in mind Rick Ross’ s OWN PLUG snitched on him, and ross was they’re middle man for distribution. He was a pawn thrown under the bus. He should have got himself some of those corrupt politicians involved.

      • That’s how he got out!

        He was moving politician’s weight.

      • onehunglo

        all fake

      • Explain?

    • $18592567

U got terrible info sources bro. Freeway Ricky Ross was so embedded in the drug game with so many big players (gov’t and street) that I’m really surprised he’s alive to tell his story. He got at Oliver North and those types…

      • onehunglo

he was a clown , real talk

  • CPI fromSteele/Fenkall/Puritan

Sounds like hate a little bit Rick. I come a family of disciplined hustlers. (Detroit). Your pass is well documented and I know them G boys will play with you and you really got out cause somebody raised a question on there involvement. The real hustlers of the game our in Corp American and really entrenched in the Gov. So these Drug Dealing rappers most really didn’t move any real weight but can make it sound like they where someone like you, upsets you. As it should. However I believe Jay story cause at this point it really makes no sense for him to say it. He never has to sell a single record and can have a Cell company purchase a million copies of anything based off his power. I think Ross should have been real and say that’s how he got on being an Officer since he know Bobbie and all them. Has to be a time when you millionaires can sit together as black men and let the BS go and really give kids a positive out of your negatives. I watch your and learned about your story and from what I read I know you will get with these brothers at the end of the day for some resolution that we can all enjoy..

    • TRUTHTELLER

      AMEN

    • Peace!

I kinda agree on the Jay Z part. I think any dude growing up poor in the hood hustled, now the whole pretending he was on Rick’s level, not picking up for less than 1,000 bricks routine, is a little to outlandish of a story, but the Real Rick Ross has a legitimate gripe.

He has PAID the price of that life, and uses his second chance to steer the youth away from the trap, while Rick Fawlse earned a living operating the trap, and now earns a living steering the youth toward the same trap…..using the Real Rick’s name, likeness, and image.

That’s like opening up a fake McDonald’s, but calling it McDonald’s, but selling turkey burgers and baked fries. Same golden arches, uniforms, trays, Robin Thicke “INSPIRED” theme song, etc,

Seems like he spends less time steering the youth away from the trap, and more time griping about what these other guys are doing.. to me. I wish there were more articles about “Freeway Ricky did this for the kids”, “Freeway Ricky started this youth program”. All I see is “Freeway Ricky is doing an interview dissing Rick Ross”, “Freeway Ricky is now dissing Jay-Z for no apparent reason”, “Freeway Ricky despises his life”

      • That’s the crazy ‘chet!

The Real Rick Ross has been making major moves for the community. CDL jobs, hair braiding, daycare, if you want to eat in his area, holla at him, he’s making moves.

        Check his website.

      • RapItUp

Well that is good to hear, for sure.. But he still has that crab in a bucket mentality.. I don’t knock him for having some shade towards Ricky Rozay the big BAWSE (lol) any man would.. But come onnn, you gotta admit, this Jay-Z calling out is nonsense! Can a brotha eat??

      • Yeah, the Jay Z jab was weak sauce.

      • onehunglo

        he on crack

      • Pirate7X

He needs to appeal his case against Rick Fawlse and leave Jay-Z alone. Jay hustled & bust guns, so what? Anybody in the hood (or burbs) could do that. Yeah he exaggerated for drama when he saw B.I.G. do it and sell records. Scorcese wasn’t in La Cosa Nostra either.

      • Yeah, taking shots at Jay Z was weak sauce.

      • Sparky Flinstone

Yo u always diss Ross but scared to diss Jay u a dick rider bcuz Gay Z is the author of this FAKE KING PIN RAP BULLSHIT going on — Biggie never claimed he was some major drug dealer, nor did Nas or Pac only this soft ass fagot GAY Z — admit that shit and admit the nigga an ugly old ass hater ( he list too long how many artists this insecure queer has had problems with) at least Ross a good nigga — he making stars, putting niggas on and got niggas eating — all yall niggas be scared to diss this 50 year old ugly ass nigga

      • I “hate on” Jay Z more than you & any 5 people put together, because he’s winning that much, but this is different.

The real changed his ways, the fake is profiting from pretending he’s him and didn’t. All this ‘chet is poisoning the youth.

    • onehunglo

      u sound like a punk

      • Pirate7X

Said the pot to the kettle.

  • ShaStud

Whats wrong with this dude.. Who cares by now… O_o.. You dont have to be hard or a drug dealer to make good music.. It starts with the parents… Period!!!

  • wickedjones

Rappers are entertainers. You want to impress me? cure cancer. Build a damn hospital.

    • Dr. Bob Beck’s Blood Zapper cures cancer, aids, etc.

    • iamwhoiam

They’re not doctors. And if you look it up jay does alot of charity for inner city youth and in other countries like africa.

      • Godson

Charity work don’t mean shit if your out poisoning the minds of innocent little children. Rich people donate to charities for tax write offs and publicity.

      • Pirate7x

        “countries like africa”?

Back to geography class for you…

      • iamwhoiam

LoL…you got me! But you know what I mean damnit.

  • black god

I feel the real ricky, if its just entertainment rap about being a doctor or a scientist.

  • Thetruth7777

I am from Brooklyn jay was running with my uncle and he was getting money and busting his gun jay shot to people on my block real talk Rick Ross stop hating because jay made it and salute the man

    • cromthelaughinggod7

Yo keep that info to yourself! Keeping it real goes wrong and you are dry snitching! Just say Jay is as real as it gets he made his bones meaning he put in work that is it! It is all real when you get a knock at the door!

      • RapItUp

        lol hella dry snitching though

      • @Real_SirJamie

You gotta be telling the truth to be snitching. And “dry snitching” is INDIRECTLY implementing someone or “hinting”. This dude is saying his own family specifically his uncle was doing dirt with Jigga.

    • nastinupe

Daymn… just throw your uncle and Jay under the bus why don’t you. Dry snitch. Hey, my only male 1st cousin is real, he was cheating on his USMLE’s using a piece of paper rolled up in his sleeve for organic chemistry formulations. Salute to the man! BTW his social security number is 423-73-2836 and he lives at 2637 Bakers Street New York, NY 10028.

    • onehunglo

      your uncle SOFT

  • RichFromBX

I don’t get this dude, if you want to be living a more positive life then completely walk away from all of this and make it happen. You don’t have to keep popping your head in and out talking all sideways. Let the chet with Officer Ricky go…you’re not going to win a dollar so to be coming sideways with “he’s being financed by the police union” just sounds stupid.

If 2 years ago a court said that Officer Ricky were to pay the real Rick Ross 30% of all earnings would we even be hearing about (real) Rick Ross’ theory about Officer Ricky being funded by 5-0

    • iamwhoiam

      YUP!

    • Mars Depot

      good points

  • richard_b_hard

What type of nigga reads vanity fair???????????

    • RapItUp

      LOL

    • This!!! ^

    • $18592567

Any nigga get that much paper or some soft broke boys…

    • Ivan Herringbone III

The type of Nigga that sees Jay-Z on the cover & wants to read the article. Are you that ignorant, “Man, I like Jay-Z but Vanity Fair is some white people shit, so Im not going to read it even tho Jay-Z is on the cover”.

      • richard_b_hard

You sound like the type of nigga who wears jeans with no back pockets.
by the way please explain how it is ignorant for me to ask what type of nigga reads vanity, regardless of who is on the cover.Syht niggas can read better quilting or scrap booking for all i care but does that mean i can’t ask a question?

  • You see what I was saying about this dude? It’s not all about the rapper Rick Ross, he is talking smack about others to cash in from a failed lifestyle that he once had.

  • iamwhoiam

How can he even come at jay???? That man did his dirt, then turned lemmons into a big ass cold piture of lemmonade. And if you hustle long enough that ish can help you in the corporate world. You gotta negotiate deals, not get robbed, you need a business mind period!

    • RSG

Negative. Real business minded people understand marketing, promotions, customer relations, etc…, these niggas don’t. If you asked these dealers and so-called record company exects (glorified a&r) to run a “real” business, they would be lost. Drugs sell themselves. If someone is feigning, they’re going to the closest nigga wit drugs. It’s comical to hear dealers and music ninjas calling themselves CEO’s. Why do you think dudes like Freeway Rick Ross, Jermaine Dupre(never sold), Damiem Dash, and Suge Knight are having such a hard time? It’s because they can’t survive in the competitive game of commerce. You can hustle your whole life, but that corporate world………whole different game altogether. You have to understand structure, demographics, taxes, credit, collateral, etc. You can be incompetent, and be a successful drug dealer; but you CANNOT be incompetent, and truly run a successful business.

      • Bman22

No one you named name is “Jay-Z.” Jay-Z’s ability to attach his name to shit has been the primary reason for his business success. If he was wack, he would never have had the same opportunities. The fact that White ppl love his music so much has enabled him to branch out so easily. He is smart enough to invest in what appeals to the youth, which makes him “cool” to everyone and a cash cow to corporate America. Let’s not over think this. There’s a reason almost everything he touches turns to gold and it has very little to do with him being this brilliant business man. You have to have something to sell and in his case, his product is his name.

  • orlando jackson

lol aint rick ross the informant crying

  • TheBigCheeFa

Freeway Ricky is a salty old man

  • Draco Himself

This dude on clown status by now

  • $18592567

Anybody who believes Jay-Z was the 100% subject of his drug dealing raps are stupid… He had to have grinded, but who can’t flip a couple of birds??? If Jigga was all that he rapped about then he would’ve been indicted by the big boys about two decades ago. Everybody that really put in MAJOR work around him (Emory, Calvin Klein etc) got cased up and he had snitches running with him too (Dehaven allegedly), so we would’ve got caught up. I think the rapper Rick Ross is 100% fraudulent about his street dealings (but Rozay music bangs) and I think Jay-Z was probably like a Jeezy more than a Meech.#asUwere

    • Mars Depot

Real is Real… Sounds bout right

  • Guillaume Pilon

    poor guy

he need to get over it

  • onehunglo

he needs to stick to his ice cream truck route,

  • Ces Alejandro

jayz did bust his gun at his older brother tho, shot that dude in the shoulder when he was 12. But as far as being a kingpin, farrrr far from that

    • beezy

So shooting someone bolsters him in your eyes?

      • Ces Alejandro

        it makes his lyrics credible

      • beezy

Not trying to be funny but why is that important to you? You don’t know these guys. What do you care? I’m really curious.

    • Sparky Flinstone

shooting your brother? that ain’t no hood credibility that just further proves he was soft and gay —- who shoots their brother?

      • Ces Alejandro

alot of niggas talk about guns and never bust nothing 1.
        2. his brother was a crackhead tryna rob him according to the story.

its not like jay z is my fave rapper, but niggas be acting like they dont bump his shit

  • mythruth

thetruth7777 is really bleek , nigga stop lying and while u lying stop snitching you probably at the precinct right now looking in the book pointing a nigga out for two xbox games and some mcdonalds I wonder how many people you tell that lie to after you finish motherfuckers are going to look at u and say nigga stop lying if j ran with ya uncle then ya uncle must be still in the hood with jaz o

    • Willie Stewart II

Snitchin? Nigga it’s called wikipedia. You think this nigga watched Jay shoot his older brother?

  • Pirate7X

Problem is Freeway Ricky Ross is still caught up in everyone else’s fascination with the the game that he needs to throw shade on those who got out successfully. We are stuck thinking crime, especially drug selling & a prison stint, is a rite of passage for the ‘strong’. As Cyrus said in The Warriors: that’s crap brothers!

Only our community questions someone’s criminal past like it’s someone with questionable educational or business credentials: “I knew that n!&&@ back in the day; he wasn’t no honor student! He ain’t move no A+’s and ain’t never been to no Princeton. He lying! In fact he was drug dealer & thug not no scholar…” see what I mean?

We got it bass-ackwards folks. What’s gonna be funny is when Jay-Z is on The Breakfast Club or Hot 97 and jokes saying “yeah Rick’s right, I am lying! Heh-heh-hennh…” in that crazy-ass laugh. Like when he clowned he was “hiding” from Hammer when Hammer made a weak diss at him.

  • chippc

At this point he’s beating a dead horse and bringing anybody associated with rapper Rick Ross into the fold. I guess he lost interest in taking down Philly rapper Freeway cuz he’s not in the limelight.

On a side note I wonder if he kicks out any of the kids that he is mentoring, if they are heard rapping lyrics or has songs by rapper Rick Ross on their Ipod.

  • arrdeesss

Figured everybody knew Gay Z was full of shyt with those dope man tales. Look at him. Dude would have got his puzzy azz robbed every damn time he posted up on a corner.

    • Sparky Flinstone

I always said that! This bitch ass nigga look softer than a wet wipe what street niggas from Brooklyn or any real hood anywhere would take orders from this gay looking and funny sounding (weird talking voice) nigga — “No Pies No Case” Nas breaks it down so accurate in ETHER — this fagat Gay Z was a small time runner at best.. he was telling Calvin Kliens stories

  • Bman22

Hate to disappoint you cats, but Jay’s actually not lying about hustling back in the day. I knew one of his VA connects personally. The nigga was even on-stage with him at some award show early on when Jay first started out. They weren’t kingpins per se, but those niggas were definitely getting money.

  • cdj313

Damn Rick baby come on dawg we don’t discuss another man’s business not like this. I know you madd they didn’t embrace a REAL one when you came home, but don’t slip to they level bro keep it 1000 @ all cost. We know he’s a cop this shit just entertainment not real life you know that you seen CB4. But I see you bro trust one

  • Havoc Wreaka III

    Cry baby.. Get over it!

    • golder1

All he has done since he has been out of prison is hate of niggas. Why are you so worried about other dudes. Ross sells out shows and his artist sells lots of records no matter how fake Ross is, his label is making money

  • wow!! The sad part about that entire situation is that majority of these top
mucic Icons that everybody live up to
are controlled by big organizations that
control the authorities, control the industry as well as controlling the underground drug world. In so many words if Jay Z or Rick Ross wanted to go against the grain they actually couldnt.
Many artist worth millions are feared for their life with no one to run to who will protect them from such a big organization that has killed majority of our black, white and latino artist. What we fail to realize is that we are not organized
strongly such as these big wigs who control our President to this very day.
We have the right to be pissed at these artist but must remember their lives are threatned constantly. We soon forget how they set 2 Pac up with a rape case then bailed him out after they realized they couldnt murder him in prison under confinement, so what did they do? Bail him out of prison on a peal bond. He recorded many songs just like Biggie then was murdered leaving their mothers to fight for their royalties. Whitney, Left Eye,
M.J., Alia, Jam Master J, Ol dirty bastard on down to Amy Winehouse, Jimi Hendrix and Elvis if you ask me were all taken out of the equation by such silent organizations. Dave Chapelle explained it a little better in the past when he ran from America to hide in africa from the same organization who threatned his life when he refused to do what they requested of him. Every entertainer today knows to do what them people request or its more than likely their ass.
We gotta organize and stop fighting each other in order to overcome these organizations who are quietly extorting many of our artist. On another note support the short stores very funny EBOOK that everybody is talking about
