The latest release from Illmatic XX is a freestyle from The Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito Show in 1993. Besides spitting some rhymes, listeners can also hear Nas promote the original Illmatic and give some shout outs.

This cut follows his “It Ain’t Hard to Tell (Stink Mix)” released in February. Illmatic XX is scheduled for release on April 15th.

yea that one part is def from Memory Lane. But a lot of songs from his demo were on Illmatic so its not surprising. Still dope to hear. Some of those verses are frees I think tho.

Seeing that weeklong special on Video Music Box in prep for Nas’ Debut release was a 1nce in a lifetime experience.

Stretch and Bobb show was something that will FOREVER hold a SPECIAL place in my Life. Stayin up til 1am on thursday was a childhood favorite. Used to be so disappointed when I’d wait up just to find the show wasn’t on, on certain nights. The jazz that would play in place of the show was cool though… It helped me find some ill samples!!!
