Hip-Hop Rumors: Scarface Is Coming Back!

I know he’s older now, but time is kind to the “real.” Scarface is one of the best in the world. Guess what? I am hearing that he’s now finished a new album and is working on putting it out soon. The crazy funny thing is, Face has been documenting his workouts recently and I heard that’s because he’s getting set for this comeback. I don’t know if you know, but the homey has had a couple rough years. Now, it seems like he’s BACK! Anyway, YEP!

Scarface one of the best to ever do it. Single handedly gave legitimacy to the south before these other coon rappers started destroying our image. Back when them NY cats was spitting that hieroglyphics garbage we weren’t feeling down here

    • Jayson C Williams

Stfu hieroglyphics this corny clown again. U know shit about hiphop that’s evident only thing is u like face that just proves you aren’t a complete retard. Another dude who’s mom should of left in the turkey baster. THE SOUTH created coon rap “that just my baby daddy”! Yea that’s ya. I rather be praised on talking about intellects than someone’s baby daddy. Farce

      • @Real_SirJamie

Actually Bro… And I HATE to be the bearer of an “L”…. But that song “My Baby Daddy”… Was recorded by Rap group B-Rock and the Bizz…..WHO WERE FROM NEW YORK…. Sorry…

      • Casor_G

        HE is exposing himself

      • Sean Taylor

“B-Rock & The Bizz was a hip-hop rap group consisting of producer Baron “B-Rock” Agee, his brother Leevirt Agee from New York City, Paul Costict and Thaddeus “T-Bird” Maye from Mobile, Alabama. Together, Leevirt Agee and T-Bird Maye were known as The Bizz.”

NY and down south take an L for that song…..

      • Casor_G

The truth hurts don’t it “son”, “god”, “moon and stars” or whatever it is you fools say up north. I wasn’t even dissing New York just some of the rappers but if you want to get regional…well then…do your thing

    • Terrance

      “hieroglyphics garbage”

EGYPTIAN CULTURE… without it, NONE of US would EXIST.

      • @Real_SirJamie

I don’t think he means “Hieroglyphics” literally. Just that most of the east coast music back in the day was heavily 5%R influenced and that s#!t originated in harlem. So in the south and on the west we didn’t know wtf they were rapping about. Hell, I STILL don’t know what GFK, Rae, and Rza (when he was Bobby Digital) meant sometimes. Keith Murray too. Some of them dudes over there were bugged out too. (See Mobb Deep’s skit on their “infamous” album)

      • Casor_G

LOL, you right on point chief. That’s exactly what I was speaking on

      • Terrance

Ha Ha.. I know where he is comin’ from in principle. Just tossin’ out a ‘1 to grow on’… Ya Bobby Digital quote is FUNNY tho. ALL those examples are on point too. I’m from NY and don’t know what they be talkin’ bout half the time. They ALL are BUGGED OUT. That’s what makes them GREAT! Rappin’ P studies Quantum Physics as well… So it was strange to hear him say what he said on “The Infamous”.

    • U.P.T.nw4eva

You must have meant Black Power and Knowledge of Self. Lol why you want to hate on NY for when it all began there. Face would never diss NY lol stop being a follower.

      • Black Jay

I still be rocking that “Betrayal” joint with Gangstarr and Scarface. You’re right. He would never diss NY.

      • U.P.T.nw4eva

A classic track and Premo laced that beat. Props to you bro for knowing your shit!

      • Casor_G

        I’m talking rhymes like…

        “Perpendicular to the square…
        She shaking her derriere…
        2+2 = 6, God ..One Love”

        That’s nonsense bro

  • im interested

  • TheOnlyCoop

Face is top 5 with out a doubt.

  • Black Jay

Man…. I’d buy Scarface’s joint above 50 Cent, Kanye, and Jay Z….. Put that joint out post haste!

    • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

      nicca u corny!

      • U.P.T.nw4eva

And you’re white, he wins now go sit your dumb ass down somewhere! Lol

  • Executive

Respect. Last of a dying breed for real, realer than 90% of these rappers.

  • Jared

Scarface is that dude no matter where you from. Scarface>>anyone with exception to Nas

  • John Q. Public

He said he was done with his “Rooted” album 2yrs ago and never dropped it.

    • southside4lyfe

He went to jail for back child support plus if J. Prince don’t feel like its your time to shine you won’t get any shine in the H. J.Prince runs Houston and alot of the rap game. He still got drake on a leash like and probably always will. The only way to get free of J.Prince is to change your rap name like Z-ro did to MoCityDon or kiss the ring.

      • John Q. Public

this was after he got out. he did an interview with sway talkin bout the album was complete he jus needed to release it.

And I think hes off rapalot now, unless he resigned. his contract was up after “emeritus”

        …And f*ck jprince. hes a snake

    • Cotton Watts

actually Brad aka scarface is my cousin….he was talking about retiring when he dropped the diary

      • John Q. Public

        …and that was 20yrs ago… so what u sayin?

      • Cotton Watts

oh my bad i didnt read your post correctly

  • DC King Of Hearts

  • Ionithus

Age shouldn’t matter in the hip hop culture. Not sure where this age bs came from. If you were raised on the music, that’s what you’re drawn to regardless of your age. It happens generation after generation. Let’s go Scarface! Been waiting.

    • Cotton Watts

great comment….i wish more ppl who are fans of the genre thought like you

    • anemia716

      boppers don’t understand that

  • The Legendary Troll

This nigga comes back every two years lmao

    • Dontoure Smith

They do that with the older niggas now. They call it a comeback album when it really isn’t lol

      • U.P.T.nw4eva

He was locked up for child support, that would derail you too fuckboy! Respect the legends of the game!

      • anemia716

young dudes man. just let the boppers chit chat. they don’t know about legends.

It ain’t my fault… good luck to you bruh!

        Joke’s on you… and U.O.E.N.O. …smh

  • ladynamor

Scarface is a pioneer of southern music. Set a standard for a lot of rappers who followed him. How many other rappers defend the hood like him? Sometimes it’s deeper than rap. He loses points for being on Rick Ross’s CD though.

  • BulldogCG

Been ready for this, but I will say I have been disappointed in his albums since the FIX. I mean they all got some good music, but not complete albums. He set his bar high with that one, finally had some top production to match his skill. Seems like he started doing his own beats, and that made the music suffer a bit. Hopefully he figured out the beat and tone thing, or gave up production and focused on content.

  • Truth Powell

C’mon man you’re really a groupie like that? You think he’s great I don’t, life goes on. I always liked Willie D more

    • Ronlg1

Willie D? For real? That hollering country ass nigga? I couldn’t purchase a Willie D album cause I would always be wondering, “Why is this nigga yelling on every song? Is he mad at me for purchasing his album?” Ha ha ha

      • Mr Magnificant

aye Willie D the man but Truth Powell is tripping. Face Mob the truth

      • Truth Powell

“I make big money I drive big cars everybody know me it’s like I’m a movie star”

  • anemia716

copin, on mere principal alone. yes!

Uncle scar legend In two games. Dissed the shit outta snitch ass Troy. Glad to see the real emerge. Scar got more bars than Vegas I’m gonna knock this joint for two years

  • Montezuma1

    • Ike’s Mood

      • Montezuma1

His skills are mediocre. He tells the same story the exact same way. Southerners got a bell curve for Southern rappers. Killer Mike, Dre 3000 a few others got it but most get hyped because of where they’re from. The Geto Boys as a group are in my top 10 but individually they’re not that good. Jay spit all over Scarface on the Fix. Guess Who’s Back. Talk about taking a ni99a shine on his own song. lol

      • Ike’s Mood

i respect your p.o.v. but i think face is just the truth…i’m still here is a testament of that. pay enough attention to his music over time & you can tell that his story has changed. he’s giving the game in code & its up to the listener to break it down, if they can.

      • Montezuma1

He’s not bad but there’s really no complexity to him. His shyt is simplistic. He delivers the street tale and he shines in some more than others but being brutally honest he wouldn’t make my top 30 as a solo artist. The group has an undeniable chemistry I feel. Of the 3 Face is the best but I like him rapping with other people far more than alone. Just my personal preference.

  • eddieknucks

Face that dude. One of the greatest story tellers ever. Always stayed in his lane. Ninjas is crazy with that overrated shit. His lyrics have withstood the test of time. When you can close your eyes an see the story he telling, that’s capturing the audience. All y’all youngins need not comment. Teeny bop listening mutha f#%$as!

  • Isaac Hayes

One of the best to do it should be on Mt Rapmore. Your entitled to your opinion but if you don’t mess with Face Mob aka DJ Akshun bka Scarface you are probably a f*ckboi. As the late great Sweet James Jones aka Tony Snow bka Pimp C would say “F*ck you in ya P*$$y”
