Frank Ocean Tells Chipotle To “F*ck Off”

(AllHipHop News) Odd Future member Frank Ocean was recently named in a lawsuit by Chipotle. The restaurant chain sued the singer for $212,500. The money was for an advance on a $425,000 deal Ocean received to sing in one of the company’s ads.

Ocean backed out of the agreement citing he was to have final approval of the master recording and all advertising. The “Thinkin About You” crooner apparently did not approve of Chipotle’s decision to place its logo at the end of the commercial.

According to Ocean, he returned the $212,500. He took to his Tumblr page to share a copy of the cashier’s check he sent to Chipotle. The check’s memo line reads, “F**K OFF.”

This is more gangster than Kanye West talking crap about Nike and then having them release the Red Octobers on the anniversary of his 1st album.

nah man its stupid because it could hurt future business for him. and regardless of logo if you have a problem with the company itself dont sign on to any project. does the commercial lose value with the logo in their, especially when either way its still chipotle backing it!?!?!

Stand up for what you believe in or end up in a dress like these “yes” men.

yeah true that but what im saying is he had to feel a certain way about chpotle from the gate if them adding their logo to the end of the commercial would make him pull out and forfeit that money… just refuse from the start…. still standing for what you believe but this could hurt his future earnings.. feel me?

Kinda “G” and kinda dumb. Dope how he did it. But he can now officially say goodbye to those future endorsements with major companies.

It’s kinda ridiculous that you would agree to do a Chipotle commercial and not expect there to be a Chipotle logo somewhere in the mix. It’s a Chipotle commercial, not a Frank Ocean commercial. Dummy. SMH.

word like no matter what, whether the logo is on there or not, he know its chipotle so what is the big deal…. you either with it or you aint but he should have known that going in

Didn’t approve of their logo at the end of the commercial? How the hell are they supposed to advertise their shit? Isn’t that what they were paying him for?
