Makes good music….smart business man…..but he’s a troubled troublemaker at heart. My opinion does not include ones ability to defend and stand up for ones self. 50 is a control freak who has brought his own music career to a stand still. I wish him well.

Fif is my nigga but I miss the charismatic sense of humor over beats that weren’t too dark and not too commercial. Listen to the difference between this new song and when “in the club” dropped. Even his gangster songs had major hit qualities.

  • Reblogged this on HUEY mix wit RILEY.

  • Obi Won

I’m just ready to hear the entire project

  • Black Jay

Watch the crowd….. This is a sign of how his album will be taken….. He wants hardcore gangsta sh*t and the world wants something else….. Watch his audience…. A few heads moving…. Not much…. I’ve seen more activity at the Zion Church on Sundays. I don’t know… Compare that to when 50 first dropped. I hope 50 has some much doper sh*t. If not, he’s done. Watch the crowd…. Watch em…..

    • InTheNightKitchen

I see what you saying, but it is a soft paced song, and it’s also new to their ears.

    • Da Ledgendary

Its a brand new song no one heard before and its some storytelling type shit, not a club banger. The crowd is quiet because they are trying to listen to what 50 saying.

      • Black Jay

If you say so….. I know plenty of artists that break new music and that sh*t is wild. Sorry dude. You’re riding alone on this one.

      • Da Ledgendary

The crowd was showing him love afterwards. I’m in Austin. My people went to the show and said it was dope. Jay and Kanye supposed to be perfoming tonight.

  • Eny Daboss

    shit is so quiet lolllllll

  • Eny Daboss

    its like church time

  • Street-Fame

Karma..Is a MFer…U could Fool Men…But you can’t Fool God…Miss the old days of The UNIT

  • dfwricwil

That was actually and good song. Wonder if the entire album will be like that….

  • Montezuma1

50 is a Cancer and putting a CRAB on the album cover would’ve been more appropriate.

  • Brainiac1ne

The crowd look like they just got in high school

  • Brooklyn Stoop

  • hustle-mania

Hip Hop today is so fake and so soft and every beat sounds the same with the same features and same content 50 bout to bring back real new york street music early 2000’s shit gonna be dope

    • Ghetto Suburbia

Keep Dreaming Away! Nobody in New York is even checking for 50. He let his rap career go, but hey, he’s rich right so what does it matter. Oh, by the way he doesn’t have Emimen or Dre or his Gunit boyz, so yeah, he’s pretty much done. But if you really want to support 50 buy some vitamin water or buy one of his movies or something. His music is sub par and he’s always making up excuses on why he’s not hot anymore. Its starting to be sad and I kinda feel sorry for him because he wants to be the hottest thing out right now but he’s not and it’s really messing him up. He’ll never be as big as he once was. I don’t see him bringing New York street music back neither. It’s time for the younger generation to do that as far as rap goes.

Well, I don’t remember 5if ever being accused of making wack records. This is solid, to trained ears, and non-programmed minds. I see him also stepping up the lyrical content, which may help him in cementing his legacy, even if he never recaptures even a gram of his former dominance. I like how he hasn’t swayed too far from his roots also, but with him spreading himself so thin business wise, I think that limits him in terms of where he can go with the content. Yes, he has burned many bridges, and is probably the epitome of “post crack-era street rap”, but with all things seemingly negative, there is also a world of good that can come out of it, allowing balance to be restored, and the culture to become even stronger because of it.

The thing about this market is you have to move with the times, 50 feels like if he gives us that same ish as GRODT its going to bring him to the top again, this song would have been popping off pre 06 but no one wants to hear that anymore, the beats he chooses are too reminiscent of his massacre days. Look am not saying the track is whack he just needs to move with the times, mix up the beats a bit, bring in some popping produces throw some pharrell, mike will, kanye etc.. you know 50 is one hit away from the top but the question is can he make that hit? I hope he does on his new project..

  • OnlyTheReal

50 cent is just another artist who Dr. Dre (by way of em) used to fool the masses into thinking he is something great and 50 sold into his own hype. I say this because 50 cant produce a great album without Dre being apart of it. The only true great artist Dre has had is Kendrick Lamar and that is because he is great with or without him.

  • Say what you want but 50 is one of them artist that will always have “his” fans no matter, what because people just like 50 and 50’s ways. When they look for 50 they ain’t looking for snap your finger, pop shtt, they looking for that slick talking, gutter rap and thats that. I think he doing just fine with his moves, he know, you know, I know, we all know ain’t nobody selling albums like that. He just trying to keep that home cooking going. Plus all that watered down shtt the “Radio” playing is on its way out . . .
