  • 5% Hov

Eif Rivera’s video look so cheap. I cant work out whether 50 is just not giving him the budget or whether this guy is just a horrible video director.

Also the lyrics on this will stop females from connecting. “look a bitch in the eye tell I love her”….. in reality chicks (the people that buy music) aint buying into this week ass video.

Strangely I like song tho – good album cut. Waste of a video. COME ON FIF

    • PhilTheGreat

Haha yeah the first thing I thought of when I turned it on was the quality… Something often over looked, yet so important.

    • ItGoesDownINtheDM

luckilly hes indy and not major anymore so he aint worried about selling to those dippy beotches only REAL FEMALES NEEDED !!!!!! ORIGINAL MINDS !!! PEOPLE WHO THINK FOR THEMSELF !!!!!! WE INDY BABY !!!!! F*CK DA MAINSTREAM AND YALL BANDWAGON JUMPIN SELFz!!

      • 5% Hov

U right. But Im sure he needs move at least gold on indi to save face.
That might be hard internationally. He colder overseas than ice cubes.

      • ItGoesDownINtheDM

noooooo … if you indy doing anything from 50k to 100k is a win … trust if fif does 500k indy interscope going to want him back ….trust!!! … cats get bigger deals when they hit those #s … a la rick ross and jim jones …. indy success is 250k units anything approaching gold and them corporate machines going to want to get back in bed with you … imo i say especially if fif happens to go gold (im not expecting it) i would say STAY INDY f*ck them majors !!!!

  • I f*cks with Joe’s R&B music. This joint is pretty good. Not feeling the video though.

Cheap vídeo but The music sounds incredible

    • Jayson C Williams

The music made me feel a way. I think fif is going to stick around for a while. He still makes good music. Maybe not popular but that’s why u start u career off with commercialism than u go into doing your own thing with your core fans in-tow

  • Jason Mazur

Why all 50’s videos look like my homie with the Iphone camera coulda shot it. Basic and boring. Someone with that kind of money and history should be doing things more epic.

    • Jayson C Williams

Yea but u don’t really make money off a video. I’m in production they aren’t giving big budgets for videos anymore n most artist rather put it into promotion which can in fact turn dividends. But I agree with u

      • Jason Mazur

And I agree with you as well. You don’t make money off it. I just feel like when you have one of those videos that people go “Yo, you gotto see that video (insert artist) got for (insert song), that shit is CRAZY” it really moves the song along. It gets everyone talking about it. It defines the culture even more and sets the bar. It’s….well…..art. Videos like this do nothing. Plenty of roof top videos from nobody rappers. Plenty of big ass females from nobody rappers. Plenty of nice cars. Just disappointing over all. Like who the hell is gonna click repeat on this video lol?

      • Jayson C Williams

Yea but there isn’t much art in rap as it use to be. Way to much commercialism surrounding this genre. So many things done are redundant. What I do see as a twist in today’s video making, is the shift from the artist being the main character or focus in these videos. Trey songz and other rappers aren’t even in there videos. So that might be where things end up, and than you really have to get creative and the track has to be that much of a damn good song. My opinion

      • It’s really about the internet, NO ONE can compete with what regular people are posting on Youtube, Instagram and Vine…. Music videos that are generated from the internet are the ONLY kind of videos people care about….We are living in a time where society like to find things for themselves, the kids don’t want to be told what to watch, they make it hot, they make it popular, and a ordinary person can have way more video views of them dancing to this 50 new song would be much more interesting than the new video itself.

      • MIIHP

When was the last video that impacted the culture? Puff just did what looked like a 90’s big budget video and 50’s cheap ones are killing all that buzz. Look at the vevo views on that one.

      • rocnation30

      • Jayson C Williams

Yea when the visual is equally as great. Here the song outweighs the visual tremendously. Facts

      • I agree, why spend millions on a video, when the music video is not what catches the audience anymore……I haven’t heard any of these kids super excited about ANY music video anymore…. #justsaying

    • LaurynHernandex

Love the song, the beginning especially. The show is alright, you can see pieces taken from past hits like New Jack City. Omari is the lifeblood of the show, he’s got a great presence and fits the role perfectly.
