Marlon Wayans: Of Nas, Jay Z and Haunted Houses

There aren’t a lot of things Marlon Wayans doesn’t want you to know. But, he does not really want people in the hood to know that his last flick, A Haunted House, made like 60x more money than it cost to make. And it cost under $2 million to make. You do the math. On the flip side, he has not-one-issue explaining at great length (pause) why his butt cheeks seemingly get a cameo in all of his movies. Ever the comedic riot, he explains the “modern” family structure in “A Haunted House 2,” the sequel to the successful original, the pimple on his butt, and even takes time for a selfie with AllHipHop’s CEO. He doubled the budget on this installment of the humorous funny flick. Hopefully, we’re able to tell Brooklyn that he made even more money on the second time around.

In these clips, Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur talks to Marlon Wayans, Affion Crockett and Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias. Let the laughter begin.

As a bonus, Marlon and the equally hilariously Affion Crockett talk Jay Z & Nas’s epic battle and modern rappers keeping Hip-Hop alive and well.

I really want the greatest rapper of all time, krs-one, to get at one of these dudes, preferably camel face

that won’t work because you talking about artist from different Eras. we always talk about what the previous super star of yesterday taking on the up coming king of tomorrow. Lebron vs Jordan but the game changes and so does the Rules.

As I said before when Nas dropped “Ether” he put his shit on a mantel. Everybody and their Moms were talking about Ether! That shit was so potent they halted several radio stations. Damn, I am so glad that I lived to see and hear this shit! Nas will be cemented for ever. It does not matter if he never make another album like illmatic. He sat the bar too high for himself and any other rapper. You will never see this shit again. The greatest rap song and battle and the greatest hip hop album from the same rapper. Unbelievable! Kiss that “F” ring nicca!! Jay is still my dude, no disrespect, but Nas took care of business in that battle with just one song. “F” incredible!
