Apple saw them start up their music program at Beats and smelled competition so they did what any company would do and bought them off.

People can hate on Jimmy Iovine all they want with their fairy tale Illuminati BS, but once you set childish things like that to side and look at it for what it really is, dude has made a long walk to get where he is. Dude wasn’t born Rich, he was from a middle class Brooklyn family and started in the music business as a studio engineer in the 70’s.

    Hard work pays off.

how is this competition if they both sell different products. In fact Apple makes some of the best headphones around they just weren’t into headphones like Beats. Now that they indeed do own Dre Beats they will probably fine tune them even better and the price will go even higher.

Beats isn’t just headphones now, a few months ago they started their own music streaming service, which was intended to compete with things like Itunes and Spotify and what not. There are alot of reports about it, it was pretty high profile, surprised you haven’t heard of it honestly.

This isn’t Steve Jobs’ Apple anymore. That’s the problem. They were never a commercially appealing company. Now with this move, they have become that, which puts your company at risk.

Apple is going down the tubes, watch. Steve would never roll with this. Apple does Apple. It has always been like that since the beginning. Now this? Apple is taking away the very thing that made them who they are, their exclusivity and originality. They are becoming like any other company out there whereas before it was those companies and then Apple.

Plus the reason why Beats is so successful is because of its fashion style price point. It’s the in thing to have beats because people know you paid about 200 for it. But its stupid. You can cop worthier headphones for the less amount of the price. Beats even isn’t the best headphones out there. Once the trend dies, what you’re going to do with the acquisition?

Damn shame Apple fell for this…
