“[50 Cent] hasn’t had a hit in a really long time. He has not made anything musically that has changed anything in a very long time,” Stoute said at the time.

Since then the Queens rapper has started his musical comeback which has included the release of numerous songs including the Trey Songz collaboration “Smoke” produced by Dr. Dre. While speaking with Fuse, the Queens rapper gave a sarcastic compliment to Stoute for the success “Smoke.”

“[Stoute] was on the air and he said, ‘Well, now that he’s not with an actual record company, maybe he can get the record played’,” stated 50. “Now it’s playing Steve. See how your mouth makes things happen.”

Dude lives in a mansion with millions of dollars – he talks about guns, drugs and the streets in general. How’s that spitting reality?

      • OnlydaReal

most rappers talk that talk and never did a dame thing, 50 lived that life and got stripes and still has connects in the streets, you not hear about the jimmy henchman trial a snitch said he feared for his life after beefing with 50’s muscle and moved to ATL and started getting strange phone calls and a dead rat on his doorstep.

      • Eli Pinilla

Plus nggz was camping outside 50 crib tryin to kill him…….smh. Nggz love listening to that street shit, but they hate a street ngga.

      • tra mo

But they ain’t do shit jimmy locked up how u gon go to war wit no money and niggas snitching on u and jimmy allegedly snitching jimmy lost on all sides facts

      • Eli Pinilla

He did. I’m not talkin about jimmy. I’m talkin bout 50. People say he living in a mansion and he ain’t in the streets and shit like that. But the dude got muthaf*ckas tryin to kill him. And then they wonder why he act the way he does or move the way he does. They ain’t never had nobody tryin to kill them…and that’s after getting shot up and making millions.

      • soyhiphop

50 got into a lot of real beefs in southside prior to fame and after..jimmy was just one..

      • EL_BARK

Maybe jimmy didnt get the memo. Lol
        Wasnt nobody scared of curtis.

      • soyhiphop

I know 4 dudes from southside who use to hustle for fif..he had shit lockedown and was feared. .so he can rap about it regardless if hes not living it no more. .lilv wayne and other fake artist rap about it yet never lived it

      • Realist4200

I don’t condone Wayne and them either – Wayne’s been well-off since he was like 14. I’m just saying, reality to me is what’s in the present time; the future is speculation and the past is behind us.

Now, I can respect an artists interpretation of the past and talking about something they lived, but 50’s done that for over 10 years now – as a business man he should know you gotta keep product fresh, and he’s been stale for a while content wise.

      • mark my words

As long as people have guns and still use them then the subject is not likely stale but rather distant to your way of life. It’s simple, 50 converges with those who have a similar personality + those who share his former and current lifestyle and falls out with the rest. The music may not settle well with your current era of hip hop but it has a place in time. Infact this whole music thing has nothing to do with trends for but rather moods. People feel different at different times and listen to different things to feel a certain way.

Nowadays telling the truth equals “hating” Steve Stoute wasn’t lying when he made that statement. (Que all the dick riders who don’t like to face reality)

    • WeakSauce

Have you not listen to any of the music he has released?! That’s the album! All but one track that I didn’t really like, so far 9/10 stars!

      • WeakSauce

As much as other people like “Smoke” I’m too crazy about it. Irregular heart beat goes in! Winners Circle I like the slow flow!

      • Brooklyn Stoop

It’s a few I don’t like. I thought u was gonna say that song where he talkin bout a plane or dome ish

      • WeakSauce

You probably talking about pilot. Not to bad of a song, after a couple of listens, is catchy

      • Eli Pinilla

Funeral is the best track….that sh*t is hard af!!!

      • Eli Pinilla

The video did it justice too….sh*t is too hard

      • ILL Will

Oh my bad I wasn’t aware…All I ever read is bitch sht 50 be doing…Imma go check 4 em tho I like 50 the rapper but outside the studio bruh act like a gossiping ass female….

      • Hector G

thats why 50 punched gunplay at an award show, yayo took his chain and MMG has had to lie about it for over a year??!! ya thats real female. 50 dosen’t care about the KIDS that aren’t listening because worldstar has blackballed him like a bunch of cowards…so of course you haven’t heard his new material.

      • ILL Will

U sound like that nigga lackey or sumn….nigga I fuxx wit f if but u cannot tell me he doesn’t act like a fuk nigga sometimes. ..carrying on like a high school bitch…stop believing in these rappers man…for real once the music stops playing bruh you should go back to real life. That rap shit is fantasy bruh. Also I don’t do the wshh thang no more bruh, facebook, nor have I ever had twitter or Instagram. ..too much bullshit to worry bout when u living real life ya digg…

  2. Sgt. H. Jennings

The songs are starting to grow on me. I wouldn’t call it fiya yet but I’m sure the more I listen I’ll catch on… I hope at least. Not bad so far. 6/10..

  3. Christopher

I am not a 50 fan but the reason why Stoute made those comments towards him was because 50 ain’t kissing his big ass, rubbing his belly and bald head or playing with his vagina at night to put him to sleep like Jay Z, Nas or Diddy still does till this day. 50 ain’t his friend and Steve may be bothered with why? Why Jay Z has all this money, Diddy has all this money, Nas has reach legendary status and they speak to me but 50 has all this money and won’t even thank me?

    • Jarett Brodie

you sound like a hater do. Steve was right, 50 needs to reinvent himself and stop sticking to that 03 format. Jay z is so powerful because hes always reinventing his music and still better than all rappers at 44

      • Butch Magnus Milosevic

That is your opinion and you are entitled to it. I think u both have points….But for me if a guy is so irrelevant, why even mention him?

    • $17637591

I haven’t fuked wit 50 in years and everybody always sayin he needs to let the music do the talkin. Smoke, Chase Paper and Pilot is some hot tracks and are getting air play. He dam sho got a core fan base that will buy his album. Now that he’s getting air play its lookin good for 50 especially since he’s independent.

  4. Terrance

50 reminds me of the way I moved not TOO LONG ago.

I see that TRAUMA PLATE Boii!!!

NEVER leave home without it. Even in the HOT summer.

  5. Jarett Brodie

Steve was right, 50 needs to reinvent himself and stop sticking to that 03 format. Jay z is so powerful because hes always reinventing his music and still better than all rappers at 44. 50 got talent, he just needs a true album, not a persona.
