Producer Cardo Says Jeezy & Jay Z Received "Seen It All" Beat By Mistake

(AllHipHop News) When two big names like Jay Z and Jeezy jump on a producer’s track, that’s a big moment even if it’s by accident. Jeezy’s latest song “Seen It All” featuring Jay Z was produced by Cardo, and the Texas bred beat maker revealed the track was never intended for Jigga and the Snowman.

“I never had Jeezy or Jay Z in mind for it; Big Sean was a person I pictured on it, and Travis Scott,” Cardo tells MTV. “I sent [it] to Jeezy by accident. I had two beats named under the same [name] in my folder for some reason and it got duplicated. I don’t know what happened; sometimes I’ll name the beat the same thing for some damn reason.”

Jeezy repeatedly reached out to the buzzing producer once he got hold of the beat in 2013. Initially, Cardo did not know that Jay added a verse to the track. While some of his friends were given previews of the song, Cardo did not become aware of the Roc Nation boss’ contribution until much later.

Besides producing the lead single off Jeezy’s next album, Cardo has also worked with Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, Meek Mill, Curren$y, and Snoop Dogg.

“Sometimes, God, that’s how he works,” added Cardo on the circumstances of how “Seen It All” came together.

      • Celz

The song was dope compared to what else is coming out but its cool by Jeezy standards and ass wack by Jay Z standards.. I can find better songs that they did together easily..

      • Arrie Mental Woodard

nah but i can appreciate people who have their own opinion even if it offends others because they are too biased at times to realize it. Song was mediocre at best.

      • Reminds of people with no ends talking about a million ain’t even a lot of money…let’s see your mil then.

  • Sgt. H. Jennings

Dope beat.. Song is ok. Jay laced it which IMO is keeping it afloat.

  • EricHiesenberg

Producers acting like it was an “accident” trying to make it seem easy. Sneak dissing the whole production game. Other than that the sound its incredible. So far this year. remember its July…GUNIT x JEEZY x Drake winning thus far.

    • Celz

He wasn’t doing that fam.. He meant it was an accident like he would have sent that beat to a different rapper and sent Jeezy something else.. You obviously can’t send a rapper your whole catalog so it’s crazy to dude that Jeezy liked a beat he didn’t intend for him to hear…

      • ^THIS!

      • RapItUp

That’s what keeps shit fresh.. They should do that more often, instead of sending Jeezy a Jeezy beat.. Send him some soulful, introspective shizz like this and let them figure it out. And big Sean sucks, major ass.. So glad he didn’t get on this track, I never would’ve heard it

  • MrWindyCity82

I don’t think Big Sean would have flowed too well on that beat.
