Wale

Hip-Hop Rumors: Uhmmm…Did Meek Mill Jump The Gun In Wale Beef?

It seems like Wale has been supporting Meek in some form or fashion – at least outwardly. I do recall a long long time ago, when MMG had a big press release there was a weird energy with Wale and Meek Mill. Honestly and real talk-wise, it seemed like it because the crowd was sporadic in their cheering. I don’t know, but the seeds could have been planted back then.

Peep this though:

What’s Rozay gonna do about this????

That made no sense my g

    • tra mo

I always said said he rapped like he was chewing sumthin

    • GP

wale raps soft. he a pop rapper. he should do an album with nelly.

  • Rick Ross drinking Crystal Light

    • GP

lol naw he drinking slim fast cool aid

      • Naw that nigga lost weight from SKRESS (stress) from these streets….lol fat boy had a whole nationwide gang on his fraudulent azz and got barred from his concert in the D….sht done got real for him and them mills ain’t gon save em….he will continue to be tried, just watch

      • Judah Nazayar

u don’t lose weight from stress.. jus sayin.. u gain

      • Sean Taylor

Most people don’t eat when they’re stressed.

        “jus sayin” ignorant azz.

  • regalpimp

Wale is playing chess with Meek…He let him go off on that emotional rant, then promoted and supported his album..nice move…

    • Black Avatars

He ain’t playing anything. Wale showed that he promoted Meeks single months ago.

  • The Legendary Troll

the beginning of the end for MMG

    • ZUBU

Heck it may make them stronger, if they iron-out their differences.

But looking at your AVI and screenname I can understand your response.

  • ZUBU

As I stated on the Meek post earlier they should just talk it out like men, and leave this social media mess alone. At least so far Wale coming across as the more mature of the two, Meek got real e-emotional with his tweets. Brothas suppose to be on the same team MMG; work together get that paper, and if there is any friction keep it in house for the betterment of the team.

  • El Dogga

Why don’t people talk man to man in private anymore??

    • Immortal

That would be too much like right…. Wouldn’t be able to whine on Twitter or Instagram then

      • El Dogga

I don’t get it. The way I look at it, if you REALLY have a problem and it’s that serious go holla at them or throw the hands. Why speak to the world about ONE person?

  • Bless Graphics

You know how it works when you have a stable of hos. Record companies are no different. Egos clash, ho’s/niggas be feeling themselves and then you have bitch ass niggas who get on twitter and show the world how homotional they are instead of getting they so called boy on the wire and hashjing things out. Ross need to keep his bitches in check.

  • wei sheng

both need to part ways from mmg, neither fit with rick wack, i like meek cause he brings that street(when im in the mood for it, crack crack, money money, hoes hoes)lol and wale for his substance and lyrical art he brings to the game but look @ the world now, niggas want to here meek, conscience bros like myself want that substance, “wait, you heard what he said, maaaan bring that back….but all in all, when are we as a ppl will realize that white amerikkka loves this ignorant ish, man talk it out like men, throw on some gloves and hit the ring if need be, must be something in all this processed food or water that has bros on some female tendencies type bull, posting ya feelings on social media, clowns!!!

  • GP

I think meek and wale should just grab gloves and hit a boxing ring. shake hands and move on.

  • Ipullcards

I said this before.. Being loud and bragging and calling someone else out doesn’t make you tough/real.. Beefing with ppl doesn’t make u real. This generation is dumb. Because u guys rather hear a loud mouth than A guy who supports the art form.. I dislike Meeks music more than I like it, but he’s talented so is wale. Problem is u can always a spot a fool because they never shut up..

    • Megapsycho84

      For this comment bruh…

      • Ipullcards

        U stoopid lmao!

      • brotha_man

hot daym that sh*t is fun as hell, bruh

  • Ross aka the boss of the crew needs to step in. Watched an interview with 50 and he said he doesnt condone internal fighting. you beef with anyone you want just nobody in the crew. it’s not like these dudes just collab every here and there. theyre coworkers, label mates etc etc

    • Dfrance

I agree with the message, but 50 is the last person who should be talking about beefing within the crew. lol

  • RapItUp

I know people keep saying they should mash it out man to man.. But let’s be honest here… That’s not entertaining. I’m not a fan of this foolery going on here, but the people as a whole (hip-hop/rap subscribers alike) won’t have anything to look at or gossip about if not for shit like this. Who thinks they’ll patch up and be good before Meek’s album drop? The guy has an album dropping, does NOBODY see this all too familiar trend playing out??

    • Ipullcards

Meeks a sucka.. Senseless drama just so he can sell some extra records.. Cause last I checked wale sells more records than he does.. In Meeks words “real street niggaz”.. Yea those guys don’t buy albums. Smh

      • RapItUp

Yea I don’t like the senseless drama for record sales either.. I think this internal beef schtick generates nothing but bad wrap (mobb deep for example) I think mmg could have a solid faction, despite everybody not being drug lords.. The diversity worked, in its own way.. Just waiting on Meek to apologize. Lol

  • Django 2Chainz

I say let them niggaz put some gloves on & let them box 1 on 1….Pimp C style

    • dehova

Why not let them get their nails “did” and scratch the shit out of each other?

      • Sean Taylor

Yeah get a french manicure like Snoop.

  • Megapsycho84

    To be honest

  • Tyfromthechi

Wale sold more records then meek tho

    • $25041764

women must buy all the cd’s nowa days then,

    • iHateStupidity

      Numbers don’t lie

      • Sean Taylor

If you make them lie they will….

  • Splatter

kinda saw this coming. besides the fact that wale doesn’t mesh well on mmg, I saw this when wale dropped his last project “The Gifted”, which in my opinion was his best work. It was very lyrical and had that soul feel. he rapped about not glorifying drug dealers and things of that nature, things that his lablemates so adamantly choose to glorify. To be on a label where they talking about the opposite of your views is always gonna be an issue, especially for a guy like wale who seems to care how he is perceived by the public, a guy who seems to want to stay true to the art form. Meek in it for the money and that’s all it is. But the personal conflict might have something to do with Meek being more popular with females and males and Wale selling more records as a whole and crossing the pop airwaves. The public is into just turning up, and we all know the majority of females don’t listen to lyrics so meek will win that competition but its a phase.

    • Savimbi

70% of Wale fans are women tho…lol I may b over exaggerating but he’s just as popular with the women as meek is.

      • Splatter

lol agreed but its only for his soft joints, for the most part all these birds is on that turn up shit with no days off.

      • focus on you

        Yea those lame bitches

      • BIG MIKE SOMETHING SERIOUS

        LOL!

      • MrsOno

I can’t speak for all women, but I can’t stand Wale or Meek Mill! Meek Mill stresses me out when he raps. My job can do that for me! Wale just can’t seem to make any sense to me. He tries to sound intelligent, but looses his points and contradicts himself. But, I’m a woman who pays attention to what I’m hearing👂! ✌

    • What about Stalley & Rocky Fresh; they don’t glorify the street life but are sign to MMG a street label . I think Meek is on his period and is showing his ass a bit too much. Rozay needs to tighten his team up

  • Pingback: Hip-Hop Rumors: Uhmmm…Did Meek Mill Jump The Gun In Wale Beef? | HIP HOP WORLDWIDE()

  • brotha_man

the only dude mmg should be promoting is Stalley…the whole record label garbage

    • Carlo

and he is the absolute worst on that garbage record label

      • brotha_man

naw….Lincoln ways, savage journey, and honest cowboy were dope mixtapes

      • Breeze

Stalley is stale. That nigga hot garbage

    • Jonathan Cayol

Stalley is not a good rapper .

    • Stalley is the best out of them all, but these new fans don’t understand lyrics

  • Papi Peligro

    I don’t get it.

  • Tell-it-like-it-is

what part of being a “street nigga” is getting on twitter and talking shit to somebody you have beef with. Meeks got his and louie v’s numbers if he was as real as he says he is he would of called them and then met up with them and handled his biz. if he was real he wouldn’t be trying to convince everyone on social media how real he was and he would of handled his shit on the low and the streets would of recognized.

  • i’mreloaded!

Ross don’t need to do anything bout this. Let dem two work it out. Meek need to stop getting caught up in his feelings because he ain’t done anything hot lately.

  • Capbussa

Gunplay aint tweet nthn about this nigga flop ass album, why meek aint go at him?

  • RYO- RONIN WARRIOR

    hoe SHIIT

  • WORLD DOMINATOR

F*CK Maycock music & all this audible GARBAGE they spew out! ROBERTS not ‘Ross’ got his ‘Hood Card’ pulled IN EVERY HOOD IN AMERICA! F*CK that FAT F*CK!

  • Ughh I don’t see an issue

  • drac215

No hate intended but I feel sorry for cats who think Wale is lyrical or mentally deep. I’ve listened to him and i see a confused brother who doesnt know himself. He tries to be thug one minute, ladies man the next minute, Rasta african-american-reggae-dreadlock pop-and so on. He has himself and his fans confused!!! Meek, he is who he is hate it or love it!!! I pray for us all. God bless us all in Jesus name peace

    • Blaq_Boi

The only contradiction I’ve picked from Wale lyrics is his love for dark skinned females vs the lighter. BUT I ain’t never hear him sound bipolar about anything else. Where does he claim being a thug? And as for the different characters you’ve mentioned, reality is he has background in most of them and is “automatically” allowed to familiarize himself and his personality with such. That ain’t confused, that’s embracing different sides to your life. I stand to be corrected but yes Wale may be hyper sensitive and impulsive in his actions in the media, but as far as the truth in his lyrics, I fail to find gross fault.

    • C. Black

Don’t know about all of that mane. Human beings are multi faceted and contradictory at damn near all times cuz. Shiiiit, where I grew up instilled a dope boy spirit in me, but I aint neva been a dope boy (besides a few times sellin stones when I was in between jobs), I’m extremely conscious reference the history of folks with melanin, traditionally always worked a 9 to 5 but sold loud on the side when I felt like it, when the energy is right, hit the spot and chop with ANY women (ladies man). So you mean to tell me I can’t spit rhymes about everything under the sun. Come on mane.

  • ɐƃƃᴉu ǝloɥʎʇooq ʎɥɔʇI️✔

MMG isn’t for me. They are a bunch of sub par rappers as far as I am concerned.

  • margaretbthomas

  • David Gonz

    lamest label since bad boy

  • C. Black

Folks trippin talkin about certain artists don’t fit MMG, have people not come to the realization yet that Ross picked these folks for a reason. He’s touchin ALL bases with his artists. He has Meek, the straight street nicca, he has Stalley, the opposite of a straight street nicca but a street spirit, he has Wale who’s kind of in between the two, etc , etc,. He has a perfect balance to touch every fan base out there. Thats why they’re winnin right now.
