Remy Ma’s Prison Release Postponed, Reportedly Due To Recent Fight

(AllHipHop News) Orange is still Remy Ma. According to reports, Remy Ma’s scheduled release from prison has been postponed due to disciplinary action.

A New York State parole officer informed Revolt that Remy Ma would not be released from Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, reportedly due to a recent fight with an inmate which had the rapper spend her final week in solitary confinement. No official word on if the fight was the reason, but Remy Ma was sent to solitary confinement on July 21st, the same day she phoned in to Angie Martinez’s radio show.

Papoose, along with Remy’s family and friends waited outside of the prison and were not informed of her delayed release until around noon, according to Miss Info.

Remy Ma was sentenced to eight years in prison on May 14th, 2008 after she was convicted of shooting former friend Makeda Barnes Joseph.
