Is Drake Investing In This Hot Netflix Series?

If you don’t know, you need to get up on it – “Top Boy.”

The series is considered “The Wire” of the UK. The series is similar, D-boys in London get busy. I won’t give away too much of the plot, because I am sure some of you are going to watch it. But, I am hearing that Drake has expressed interest in the series and taking it to the next level. Right now, it only has 8 episodes, but is a super hot commodity on the streaming service Netflix.

There’s not so much more to it, but I think this could be a good look for the homie Drake to expand his already bustling portfolio.

This is old news, Its also old series so I guess they are bringing it back… Its NOTHING like ‘The Wire’, watch the first series to make your mind up, its a decent watch but calling it the UK Wire is way off…

Basically, the writer of this article just saw Top Boy on netflix and made up a rumor. It’s a 2011 show from the UK that the creator has no plans on bringing back..

pretty much. They cancelled it after Season 2. This rumor about Drake is from September, and they were talking moving it to Chicago which would make zero sense.

Houston, are you copying classic Ones style? Spend some time doing research before posting an “article” top boy is not like the wire, I don’t watch much TV but I’ve seen one and a bit episodes of each and listened to peeps talking about it. A journalist’s role is to inform you guys do the opposite.

I wonder what you guys are doing to keep your jobs especially with the amount of negative feedback. If I was your boss I would have suggested you call it quits. And that’s being honest too.

On a lighter note big up to Asher D the actor in top boy, dude turned his life around after getting caught with a firearm and doing time. He even said he was trying to be something he wasn’t (gangster), he just wanted to fit in with the so solid crew.

I wish this dude more success.

Basically what I thought… Drake will probably cast himself to play JME, just to do some bunk bed scenes with Skepta
