Future’s Bodyguard Shot and Killed in ATL

(AllHipHop News) According to reports by Fox 5 Atlanta, one of Future’s bodyguards, 27-year-old Michael Tanner Phillips, was shot and killed in his home in Georgia.  The suspect was spotted leaving the scene in a vehicle, however details of who he might be are unknown at the moment.

Phillips was at home with his wife at the time of the shooting.  Sadly, Phillips will miss the birth of his newborn child who is expected to arrive soon.

“Some of the neighbors heard some arguing and some gunshots. We’re still interviewing some of them to try and piece together everything at this time,” said Lieutenant Frank Thomas of the Clayton County Police Department.

There is no word from the Future camp yet, but we will update when more details are available.

    • Celz

Bruh getting shot is only a sacrifice to the streets. Where had there ever been a noted sacrifice done this way? Just because the govt lies doesn’t mean you have to make up shyt..

    • IDNTGIVAFUCKBOUTNOTHING

You sound dumb. The Nigga got shot.

  • Shawn Williams

Is it possible to b sucessful with out selling ya soul?

    • EmmanuelKShannon

Is it possible for niggas not to say someone was sacrificed for pain just because someone around them died? Shit is old.

      • Shawn Williams

        Tell that to frank yoster

      • EmmanuelKShannon

        Wtf is a Frank Yoster?

To be successful in this world and be a total talentless s***bag yes…

If you are intelligent, you don’t have to be a sellout to get ahead in this world but you will become a target once you do get ahead….

    • ursocalledgod

it is absolutely possible. look at oprah, niel degrassi Tyson, Byron allen, Michael Jordan, Russell simmons, shaq, etc the list goes on. don’t just feed into the conspiracy bullshyt that some of our misguided people put out there. some of us have a deep imbedded thought process to naturally dislike the success of people of our own race. it goes back to the house slaves and the field slave separation. naturally when someone who looks like us seems to be getting ahead and being more successful
‘ oh it must be something” not realizing these people WORKED HARD and SACRIFICED to get where they are. something ignorant niggaz cannot grasp, so they blame it on the devil, illuminati, masons, etc. if it was that easy to be successful to the point we just have to sell our soul, how many more rich black people would there be? don’t look at the shyt a lot of these rappers and entertainers get fucced in the game about sway you. that shyt is of their own doing. fairy tales are for children…

      • IDNTGIVAFUCKBOUTNOTHING

People feel the Need to justify their own Lack of success by Creating Conspiracy theories. I hate to say it but its Black people that came up with this Nonsense. The Crabs in a Barrel Mentality is a Obstacle that our people cant seem to shake.

      • ursocalledgod

        Chuuuch

      • therealjjohnson

Black people did not create the ritual sacrifice story and or culture. At all. And it’s not limited to black artist or black people. You can say “some people” but to call black people out specifically…I take exception with that.

Side note: my issue with the “Crabs in a bucket”cliche is…yes crabs in a bucket pull each other down. Who ask the question why the crabs are in the barrel in the first place as it’s not their natural habitat.

This was just another brother lost. No sacrificing necessary

      • IDNTGIVAFUCKBOUTNOTHING

I clearly said “I Believe” that Black people started the Illuminati rumors. When you really think about it, its Successful Black people who are the ones being accused of Worshiping the Devil. Jay-Z, Rihanna, Oprah, Kanye West…. as if Hard Work, dedication, and passion couldn’t be the reason they achieved their level of success. I personally know Black people who believe 100% that these artists sold their soul to get $$$$.

As far as the Crabs go, I think its a Perfect analogy, being that the Crabs are out of their Natural Habitat. The same way Niggas are. We weren’t made for the Ghetto, and we didn’t originate in the Hood, but it seems that’s the Situation that we’re in. The same way them crabs Try Hard to pull their Brothers and Sisters back in the bucket, some Niggas try just that Hard to keep their Brothers and Sisters from achieving success.
