Bobby Shmurda Blasts D.A.: My Constitutional Rights Are Being Violated (Audio)

(AllHipHop News) Yesterday (Feb. 17), Bobby Shmurda voiced his opinion on two trending subjects. The Brooklyn rapper opened up on the topics of his staggering $2 million bail and his supposed beef with 50 Cent, this according to ThisIs50

When discussing his highly contested bail Bobby blasted the New York District Attorney’s office. He suggested, that in addition to woefully experiencing a languished legal system, that his inherent constitutional rights are being violated. “They ain’t trying to give me the deal because they know if I come home, I’ma beat this. So, right now, they trying to hold me in here as long as possible,” said Shmurda.

Bobby believes that the government is working to sabotage his right to due process. “So, they’re trying to hold me in for like three or four years. And then try to give me time served or something but they don’t got nothing on me. I’m not even supposed to still be here,” he then claimed, “I got several lawyers maintaining my case that’s saying that the bail is supposed to be dropped and these charges are supposed to be dropped.”

Next he questioned if his case is being used to build a political legacy. He challenged, “The bail is not even supposed to be high due to the Emory Law Book. But they violating my constitutional rights. They violating my civil rights that they are just flushing it down the toilet for they own political reasons.”

Moving from bail to bars Bobby shot down rumors concerning an alleged beef with 50 Cent.  He effectively dismissed the notion he has any problems with the Queens rapper.  He insisted, “I don’t do the Rap beef… I don’t got time for all that. First of all, I’m in jail. How I’ma beef with someone when I’m in jail?”

Begging the question, the “Hot Boy” spitter concluded with, “That’s not my character. 50’s cool. So anybody who knows me knows I don’t do that Rap beef sh*t. 50 ain’t never disrespect me.”

    No s***. AHH why are you making articles about a novice rapper who is stuck in prison? Do you not have other stuff to report on?

    • Brindle

      • So Bobby isn’t newsworthy now? FOH.

      • WeakSauce

        It because the same damn story has been recycled so many damn times. Just like many other stories that AHH been milking the cow on

      • OK – how is a new interview recycled. In this time in American, how is a dude sitting in jail accused not relevance to modern era. How is a follow up, not journalism. Because you don’t care about the dude isn’t ANY indication of it being news worthy. IN FACT, the idea that he’s “forgotten by everybody” is even more indication that WE should be talking about him. See, I’m cut from a different cloth. I see For all his alleged screw ups, I see Bobby is a microcosm of a bigger problem we face here in America. Yall see him as a news story you want to discard.

      • WeakSauce

        New interview or not, is the same damn questions with thew same damn responses. He said nothing new, so yeah

      • MannyStylz

        Seems u and others are missing the point fam.. Either way U spin it shorty’s rights are being violated and THE WORLD should know that and be updated on his case as often as possible.

        And the statement that he said “nothing new” doesn’t mean he’s irrelevant and we should dismiss the facts of his case as such..

        Maybe yalls opinions would be different if he was UR little brother and not the “rapper” bobby shmurda.

        Btw.. Good reply creekmur..

      • Casor_Greener

        Please tell me how his “rights are being violated”. I bet if this ninja had shot ya cousin you wouldn’t be on here crying for his civil rights

      • MannyStylz

        judging by ur previous comments u sound biased against smurda and AHH my brother. the answer to ur question is in the story(ies) that i assumed u already read.. PLUS, creek already spelled it out for u. instead of asking me to clarify my position perhaps u’ll simply re-read those stories with an open mind and arrive at your own conclusion like i did..

      • DJ7

        Don’t mind the peanut gallery Chuck…keep shedding light on this story…something smells a lil fishy and to leave it alone, as the p. gallery suggest, would indeed be irresponsible journalism.

      • Casor_Greener

        Man please! Your poorly written articles with horrible grammar make this REAL STORY seem like a joke. Get an editor and then we might respect you. Your news stories are as crappy as his legal team.

      • Dope

        He was never newsworthy. A one hit dude that’s already forgotten by everybody except for AHH who have nothing better to do.

      • Brindle

        when was he newsworthy? it was one hot single

      • Scroll up for my breakdown.

    • BEAST

      What would you rather hear? More articles about Kanye?

      • Anthony Mason

      • Heavy325

        You right I would rather read this than anything about Kanye bitch ass.

    • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

      He’s been in jail for going on 15 months. Does he not deserve a SPEEDY trial? If they arrested him and can KEEP HIM INSIDE, there case should of been A1 since day 1 in jail.

      this is riduculous, I wish i was a hip hop $100M type guy, this nicca would be home.

      • He waved his rights, he could have asked for a 30/30 & been released or had trial within 30 days / 6 mnths.

      • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

        Explain further. Waved his rights? And why? I’m generally uneducated on police and the accused.

      • DA has 5 days to indict ( 6 on weekend ) or they must release you with no bail.
        A CPL 30/30 gives the state 30 days ( violation ) 90 days misdemeanor or 183 ( 6mnths ) felony to go to trial.

        Most lawyers decline 30/30’s because they want to plea bargain.
        I touched on other topics with HoeyUno that might be a good read for you too in regards to RIGHTS.

      • Inmadopicouroz✓QUEENSᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

        Why did he waive his rights? Good notes btw.

      • Speculation :

        Once indicted, you can only plead to top charge, usually lawyers decline because they are interested in working a deal / snitching!

    • hoeyuno

      Nah man this shyt needs to be heard. Somebody needs to throw together a well written article on how this boys rights have been violated(EDO where you at!??)… Im not 100% in the loop but wasn’t this all from a conspiracy case??

      • Anthony Mason

        The system needs to be changed. The people keeping him there are the culprits of violating his rights and they won’t be reading an article on AHH….

        At the same time….Shmurda either committed the crimes or he didnt. He kind of brought unwanted attention to himself ….

      • hoeyuno

        Your right but still i think someone has to put together a play by play of whats been going down. The boy has a aunt Viv who got the two million together and they flat out denied the bail on some flight risk crap!! I know its all fine print shyt where the paper work leaves them in a position to do whatever the fucc they feel like doing but…

      • Anthony Mason

        Caught a body bout a week ago!!!

      • Are they violating his rights?
        Of course not, he never had any to begin with, only privileges that could be rescinded / revoked / taken.

        ( Dread Scott Case ( SCOTUS ) = Black man has no rights a white man is bound to respect. )

        Emancipation Proclamation “FREED” the slaves.
        A FREE man doesn’t need permission but, a FREED one does.

        13th Amendment FREED The Slaves but allowed slavery in prison
        1 4th Amendment Made Them Citizens
        15th Amendment gave them the right to vote on whether they wanted to become citizens / nationalized slaves or go home…….after the choice was already made for them by the slave master.

        ~~~> EDOGZ818 Side Note :
        The day after slavery ( as some know?) “ENDED?” with Emancipation Proclamation, the prison population increased 400% as new laws / slave codes ( victim less crimes like stepping on a whiteman’s shadow or looking him the eye when he talked to you……or smoking weed in your bedroom today ) were created.
        Black’s Law Dictionary ( just a coincidence, righttTTTTT? ) codifies the legal terms today, for example :
        We accept the term minority as meaning not the majority vs the legal meaning that relates to being a MINOR, as in a child that can’t engage in a legal contract, etc… & that’s why Massa, uh, I meant, the government is the new PARENT.
        In reality, you don’t have any rights that you can’t enforce….physically / militarily.
        You can only beg & plead in court PLEADINGS.*
        Listening to music uses 100% of the brain & stimulates creativity or programming.
        “Hip Hop Shoobiddy Doo, I’ll kill your @$$ for stepping on my shoe” = Platinum
        The incarceration rate is directly related to failed mortgages.
        MBS = Mortgage backed Securities
      • hoeyuno
        “Emancipation Proclamation “FREED” the slaves.
        A FREE man doesn’t need permission but, a FREED one does.”
        That was ill!! You write that?
      • Yeah, that was actually the root of $E$.
        Just seemed like an easy way to break down bondage…or marriage.
    smurda got lawyers , the others either don’t or not the same ones , now their charges are connected with each other tho , is one reason , the other is smurda got crappy lawyers if court is punkin’ them by doing things that are unlawful
    • If you were Black, you would know that the court traditionally violates Black people’s rights.
      Look at Black’s Law dictionary & when it was made……and why!
      Now log off & go watch child porn you savage!
      • W.E.B. Du Bois
        wrong dumbass – only blacks that get punked in court is ones without good lawyers , cuz they wont let court do nothing unlawful – and I’ll never read anything your worthless race read
      • If you were Black, you would know that lawyers work for the courts!
        Now go watch child porn you savage.
