The Young Turks may not be considered Hip-Hop, but they do matter when it comes to the issues facing the Hip-Hop generation. As we traverse into another election year, we are faced with some important decisions and matters as a community. The Young Turks’ Cenk Uygur founded the company as an internet-based news show in 2002 and the movement has skyrocketed since then. AllHipHop’s Chuck Creekmur chatted with Cenk at the international Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas in the Monster House. In the video, Cenk talks frankly about a number of issues including social justice, elections and being an “agent of change.”
