Bubba Sparxxx Quit Rap And Went Back To Being White!

Here is the luxury of being a white person in Hip-Hop. You can put on your color like some baggy clothing! And then go marry the former Miss Iowa! Meanwhile, Mike Jones is out here all f**ked up!! Anyway, Bubba was a portly hick white rapper signed to Timbaland many years ago. Now, he’s all cleaned up!

STFU police brutality isn’t the same as this – which is the systemic murder of a targeted minority race while completely braking the laws you’re sworn to upkeep and to imply otherwise reveals your hidden racism and stupidity.

  • I don’t think it has anything to do with hip hop at all. First of all, hip hop is no longer just a Black thing. Everyone participates. Bubba, Kid Rock and Vanilla Ice clearly got into the hip hop game for the financial aspect. But so did Diddy, MC Hammer and many other Black artists.

I would file this under a Black/White issue. Hanging with Blacks and having a lot of Black friends doesn’t mean you’re feeling the same pressures as Black people because at any given moment (as Bubba conveniently demonstrated) you can go back to being Ashy White and disassociate yourself from that chosen reality. Sarah Palin used to f*ck Black dudes and be on that interracial thing. But then she switched up her game to Ashy White and became VP Nominee of the Republican Party. But when you’re Black, you’re Black forever and will get treated as such until you’re in the dirt. Even the most sell out ass n*gga is constantly reminded that he’s only a mascot for team Ashy White. So it’s a racial thing.

  • The Legendary Troll

yep. white people can flip a switch an be uppity whites whenever they want. this is why its hard to respect white rappers

    • Jason Mazur

….Not like those uppity black execs that wouldn’t be caught dead in the neighborhoods rap sounds from nor around the people.

  • bigdoe6

Bubba got in and made a few hits, sold a shit load of ringtones and got rich. Now he owns mad property in Florida. He was smart. He stacked and made a exit. Some of your favorite rappers don’t have money in their pockets. Stop promoting racism. Hip-Hop isn’t Black or White. It’s a culture.

    • 3rdEye_Sharp

Hip Hop is Black Culture! Remember why it was invented. It was established as a platform for frustrated, disenfranchised, impoverished, young Black men to voice their opinion on the social ills of society…Check out Afrika Bambaata and Melle Mel and the Furious Five. Just a little Hip Hop 101 for you. Your welcome!

      • AC Redd

ever heard of rick ruben? idiot! latinos also had a big part of hip hop’s creation as well… it’s urban culture fool. you probably don’t even know all of it’s elements. smh!

      • DJ7

Rick Rubin was NOT a founding member fool…he came in when hip hop was in it’s early stages of going COMMERCIAL…get it str8…

Although Latinos were there, your claim of them playing this BIG role in it’s creation…knock it off champ…b-boying and tagging are just 2 of the elements and was not exclusive to my Latino brothas and sistas!

Brothas got this thing called hip hop cracking…sure others were there b.u.t. stop with the revisionist here!

      • 3rdEye_Sharp

I’m not going to get into a keyboard tough guy match with you. I can fight FOR REAL! That’s why I don’t feel the need to insult people, from behind a keyboard. But, you don’t even deserve that much energy, so I’ll just address the “not tough” part of your statement…Rick Ruben IS a pioneer IN Hip Hop, not one of it’s original founders. Since reading is fundamental…Allow me to extrapolate…Hip Hop, as we know it, was created to be voice for young, impoverished, disenfranchised Black men to express their discontent with how they were treated in Society. So, allow me to explain something to you, Stephen A. Smith…Even before Africa Bambata and the Zulu Nation and Melle Mel and The Furious Five, there was a group in the sixties, named The Last Poets…They were actually on Common’s song “The Corner”. They were the FIRST people to rhyme over percussion beats. They were the FIRST to be hood reporters on wax! Secondly, I grew up during the time when, EVERYBODY in the hood practiced MOST of the pillars of Hip Hop. So, I’ve DJ’d, did graffiti, I did beat box, I did and still do freestyle and MC from time to time AND I used walk through my hood with the card board box, B-boy battling other people from other blocks, WITH my windbreaker on, that could turn into a pouch, with the suede Pumas, with the fat laces and LeTigre shirt and pinstripe or two toned Lee’s and Ghazals. You’re welcome! Hotep!

    • MattJ

Hip Hop is a derivative of black culture and was created as a tool for blacks to express themselves in a society that marginalized us. I can’t say I’m surprised a white idiot such as yourself has attempted to white wash hip hop’s origin. You’re a culture vulture who needs to not speak about shit you don’t have clue about.

  • THISIS50

    he lost mad weight

  • SMOKE

    LOL Bubba looking good wow

  • DrakeDoesn’tWrite

Looks like Channing Tatum in the 1st pic with his wife lol. That said, all you Drake fans should get ready to see better packaged white rappers. The need to be credible is gone(for a while). The need to be authentic is gone(for a while). They don’t even need to write now(this was the last thing keeping Rap from being dominated by Packaged Industry acts who don’t give a sh*t about the culture a la Top 40 The current King fits this). Remember. You said It wasn’t a big deal. They already buy more of the music. They already outsell their peers even if the music sucks. Now it’s time to make it palletable for them. The Criteria has been removed. Now it’s time to make it bout what they identify with. It’s time to put on a more accurate face for the primary purchasers.

  • Starr soprano

Whoever came up with the title of this article is an ignorant dummy. People like whoever wrote this are the same people that keep racism alive and well but then wanna get all political when racism slaps them in the face. Writer of this article hope u walk around the corner and bump into a hollow tip.

  • Ibn Mahmood

I thought bubba had joined the kkk when i read the title lol

  • Zorino

«Bubba Sparxxx Quit Rap And Went Back To Being White!»

MOST IDIOTIC TITLE EVER. Hip-Hop journalism at its finest.

  • HatingWhitePeopleSince85

The Title Of This Article Was CLEARLY Meant As An Attempt To Be Facetious and If You Niggas Can’t See That and Actually Sitting Up Here In Your Feelings About A Title That Was Clearly Written In Sarcasm Then You Niggas Is Stupid As Hell! and That’s The Bottom Line Cause Stone Cold Said So! 😊😊😊😊

  • Joe Joiner

only people mad are probably white males with identity issues who appropriate black culture.

He still rap, it’s like redknecc hop or something like that they call it

  • Uncle Ruckus

So Rap is a race now? Who knew?

  • youKNOWthatYOUugly

What’s wrong with him marrying his woman?

  • ebonyhud

Yall were just talking about Chamillionaire doing something else…Clearly white guys aren’t the only ones lol

    • better examples are Kid Rock, everlast, vanilla ice

  • Dope

Remember every single word you wrote in this article the next time you start to write any article about racism, because if this isn’t a racist article then I don’t know what is.

You could have simply skipped writing the article completely as this guy is nobody interesting, but if you decided to write it why hate on him? For being white and marrying a girl he likes? Or is it for ditching baggy clothes at one point and wearing a shirt? The first thing is something you don’t really choose, especially the skin (you choose the person you’re with, not so much who you love). And the second thins is what Jay, Diddy, Nas, Dre, Em.. did as well. They’re not in their 20s any more.

  • edeck7

Bubba Sparxx is 39 Years Old, but I get the point, but he knows that he like a lot of rap artists because we live in a wack so-called Hip-Hop era now can’t sell records now. I mean you see magazines and radio hosts, DJs endorse wack artists now, so what a true artist to do go back to being there true selves before Hip-Hop

  • hoeyuno

This guy came in on Eminem’s Coat Tail.. Except it was a farm and not a trailer park.

  • THA CARTERVII

    Well Damn!!@*GUCCI MANE VOICE

  • Guillaume Pilon

he was wearing baggy clothes…in 2k5….

  • Boston80sbaby

He just grew up. Still had a Slumerican sweatshirt on Rittz is that dude

  • JerZeBoy

The title says ” blah blah back to being white”? So iguess Eminem, theAlchemest, Everlast etc. are not back to being white because thy havent stopped rapping??? Tht was a really ignorant title, but as we know on this site, its not a shock…so people hate cause he doesn’t act like he 18 anymore, and some times you have to dress upscale for certain events(engagement)?, he does look drastically different in 2 of those pics though, like plastic surgery, but are you serious? who wrote this a 60year old man who still has his pants around his ankles and a 6x white tshirt dress on? lol

    • MrTroyMercy

Great post! This site is a farce now. It’s Damn near MTO status. This title was ignorant as hell. That’s the fake illseed for you.

      • JerZeBoy

        agreed!!!!!

  • hoeyuno

Bubba lookin sharp…This article is ridiculous though. Dude was/is a rapper but I would have never through him in the wigger category…

    • Soulrebel1

Right all his raps were from a white country boy perspective, wasn’t phony…

      • MattJ

Nah he was fake af. Read his lyrics…another culture vulture.

  • YO..MOMMA..SPECIAL..FRIEND

any rapper could grow up if they choose to do so.

  • Anthony Mason

I got his debut album. It was good. TImbo beats were on point….

    • BIG MIKE SOMETHING SERIOUS

Never see that Timberland again, but it was nice while it lasted.

      • Anthony Mason

Yup. The beats were mind boggling complex and unique. Bubba’s lyrics shined and he even showed he can tell stories pretty well in the intro track…

      • BIG MIKE SOMETHING SERIOUS

The song, Dark Days and bright Lights was dope, U right he was a good storyteller.

  • keenan88

Went back to being white? If someone said went back to being black they would be called racist.

    • Sinbk Legend

      You white?

      • RealSpit

        Lol… Yeah he’s white!!

      • MattJ

Yep lmfao. These crackers mad in this comment section. Haha.

    • Q.

It depends on the individual in question (e.g., Stacey Dash, Tiger Woods, Clarence Thomas, et al..).

  • Bk

dawg I am black and he had no reason to put that “go back to being white” in there. he made it a racial stance when there was no need for it. and Keenan is right if it was reversed we’d be out protesting. he may have meant it as a joke but you can’t tell by reading his words and not hearing him say it. lol.

    • MattJ

Hmm….You sound like an uncle tom ass coon or a white boy trying to masquerade as a black person so your comment has more weight to it.

      I think the latter.

      • Bk

eat a dick your mother is a coon.

  • WeakSauce

Back to being white huh? Some racist shit from a site that calls out all the racist shit from white folks. What a F’n shame AHH!

    • D_Ably

      Expect no less

      • WeakSauce

        Yup!

      • MattJ

You whites are so mad hahaha. White tears are delicious.

      • WeakSauce

Me white? You must be tripping!

    • Black Adam

      ROFLMAO!

  • ursocalledgod

the title to this article is worthless. come on AHH. DO BETTER!

  • Weedras

This was one dude who came into hip hop as a country white boy and never changed that shit at all… this mofo had folks like his video with him and his homies pig wrestling!! lol!!… another stupid click bait title..smh.. writer should be ashamed!!!

  • Q.

Damn, Houston Williams got the white visitors in their feelings with this article–you can tell who’s who by the comments.
Yes, Houston sucks, but that headline made me LOL! Bubba looks like a different human with the weight off. #HOUSTONWEHAVEAPROBLEM

    • Black Adam

They done pissed the white folk off too. About to be a united front up in this bish. haha

      • Q.

Let’s find out who’s really sensitive. LOL

      • MattJ

Ikr an abundance of white tears in this mofo. Whites mad because the writer told the truth. Too many whites try to use and profit off our culture and then when they’re done go back to being their real selves. Culture vultures are the reason hip hop is dying now smh. They’re the reason why Eminem has sold more than 99% of rappers yet isn’t close to being one of the best nor one of the most talented rappers in the game.

  • STEPH

Be responsible and stop with the racist bullshit.

    • MattJ

The writer is being responsible and he’s speaking up about the truth that you whites are afraid to admit.

This was an excellent article and exposes the reality of hip hop – which is infested by culture vultures who use and profit off hip hop but deep down hate blacks and never speak up about minority social issues. Notice how every white rapper usually changes when they retire and decide to start acting themselves when they aren’t trying to appeal to a demographic they leach and make money off of. For example, Eminem’s racist ass will likely go full Donald Trump when he quits the rap game LOL.

      • STEPH

I’m black you sucka and who gives a fuc- if he was rapping and went back to doing him. To tell you the truth if you’re still walking around dressing like you did 15-20 yrs ago I’d say you have a fu-king problem. I remember his videos and he was saying he a big country hillbilly, I just see a more mature dude who dresses his age and is obviously happy. Sound like you been beat by whites everyday of your life, you sound like you’re light-weight racist homeboy. I from Detroit and I see growth from Em, he was a drug using mofo until that shit almost took him out the game, and he lost people that were close to him. It’s not their job to speak up about minority issues, we need to do things for ourselves help one another. Look at how the Arabs, Asians, Africans do…..they don’t shit on each other we do. At my shop I have 6 black employees 2 whites and 2 latin women…It starts with the Man in the Mirror homeboy.

  • Royal T

You shouldn’t be so hard on Bubba he did do anything but give you 1 ugly summer. Plus even if he did “go back to being white” which is rediculous and racist in a couple of ways, remember that he didn’t choose to rhyme in the first place. Rhyming chose him.

  • yomomma

who writes this shit? lol well atleast hes not a “out of luck” rapper and hes doing things when the spotlight stop shining..,good shit bro

  • This is some dumb @ss shtt right here… its called change, its called choices, its called Growing up, its called moving forward, its called seizing the opportunities….

  • Now, imagine if someone wrote:

“TIGER WOODS QUIT GOLF AND WENT BACK TO BEING BLACK”

Absolutely atrocious journalism. I know this is Hip-Hop and the genre has more of a “laid back” invitation and feel to it, but you can do better. This is nothing short of pathetic.

    • MattJ

You don’t like it? Go to an another site…maybe you’ll find a HIP HOP site that caters to white people aka culture vultures, while bending down to worship you while you attempt to appear like you’re morally superior to a predominantly black genre and its black writers.

      • Boogotop

        Thank you.

      • Na, I don’t like racist sh*t, regardless of color, religion, creed, etc. You’re a kid Matt. Grow up, sooner than later. Shoutout to the colorblind.

    • Knickfan4life

That would be great they tried it with oj Simpson and Cuba Gooding with the same headline on other sites.

  • MattJ

Quick everyone get a bucket, there’s a ton of white tears raining in this comment section.

All you cacs are mad because the writer unveiled the truth about “Bubba”. Who is a typical culture vulture like many of you in the comment section. Only in the game to profit off a predominantly black genre/culture but deep down hate blacks or view us as inferior.

    • TheBlackItalian

Says white MattJ. Stay in ya lane

  • TheBlackItalian

Nigga Houston Williams sound salty af. Don’t be mad cuz bitches don’t give bloggers any play bruh.

  • I’m a fellow of European descent and I can’t agree more. Call it a culture vulture, call it a white/black suit, call it whatever you want but to me I get tired of this music getting pillaged and cheapened by rappers like Bubba Sparxxx. Just once, I would love to see a rapper that is not Eminem or MC Serch and fully commit to the culture and actually DO something for it.

Everyone uses this music as a spring board then shits on it once they “ascend” into stardom. Kid Rock, started as a rapper with ICP. Eventually he got into straight up rap, then rap rock, and now he’s settled nicely with his large belt buckle and mikes hard lemonade somewhere in southwest michigan singing yank tunes with his friends on milk jugs and washboards… proudly. Pink, she came on as hip-hop/r&b and eventually graduated to pop/rock once she got her jump never to look back with so much as a thank you. G-Eazy came on as a comic type rapper… almost a caricature of a rapper… or a caricature of a comic type rapper. Whatever the case, this kid hopped on the scene by way of the white kids. Claiming he’s hip-hop but probably never heard of 1520 Sedgwick ave in his life nor would he be caught dead there. You can already hear the kid starting to make his move to pop music… all the while joining his pale faced friends and cheapening this music I love called hip-hop. And what about everyone’s favorite Macklemore? Nevermind, I could write a goddam entire Essay on THAT situation.

So who do we have left thats on the come up? Yelawolf, El-P, Iggy Azalea, Action Bronson, Riff Raff, Lil Dicky. NONE of these artists who are getting attention in the spotlight actually DO anything for the culture other than rob it for all they can before they go back to their nice quiet suburban lives after they’ve treated it like shit, mocked it, masked it behind comments like “yall need to stop taking everything so literal” or “calm down im just having fun”. It’s only a matter of time before they move to pop, country, or rock and never look back without so much as a “thanks for everything hip-hop”

For white rappers, it’s all an act, its all WWE. All of it.
