Ebro Says Charlamagne The God Tried To Come To Hot 97!

I don’t know if this is even worthy your time. So, I will be brief. Old Man Ebro claims that C Tha God tried to come from Clear Channel (Power 105) to Emmis (Hot 97) and join their morning show. I wonder..true false? Who cares?

He was trying to get rid of Ebro, which seems powerfully possible. He didn’t wanna work “under” Ebro.

  • Both of those idiots need to go if you ask me. With that weak ass radio programming and that Wendy Williams in jeans ass n*gga, they’ve done more to hurt hip hop than 4 Vanilla Ices. Both of them sold out the culture.

    • Drake’s 3rd best Ghostwriter

Vanilla Ice tried to steal hip hop, right ?

      • Knickfan4life

No vanilla ice took the opportunity to make money he did what any broke person would when you start putting King of hip hop behind a white rapper after all these black rappers that are better .that is when you have problems.

      • Drake’s 3rd best Ghostwriter

No one ever said Eminem was the king of hip hop though. He might have owned the game for a year, year and a half tops…. 15 years ago. And black people are still bitter about it. It just doesn’t make any sense.

      • RazaBladeKing

Eh… i went to a white college in the early 2000s, and EVERYBODY said eminem was the king of hip hop. I got into the habit of askin em to name 10 rappers after giving their “expert opinion”, and the convo would die right there every. single. time.

      • Drake’s 3rd best Ghostwriter

I’m talking about people who like hip hop though. Not people who don’t but like Eminem because he’s white.

      • TheAfroRican

I used to do that too lol Eminem isn’t really that original. In his first album, dude sounded like AZ in a lot of the tracks. Later in his career was Esham influenced.

      • “Em,……uh, um…well let’s see, there’s er, um, did I say Em yet? Why you hating bruh???”

      • In Black America Radio

“No one ever said Eminem was the king of hip hop”

Uh……….yes the F they did. i wanna say rolling stones but not sure

      • Knickfan4life

You must have never seen the rolling stone magazine

      • Drake’s 3rd best Ghostwriter

Look man. This dudes talking about his craka college, you talking about Rolling Stone. I’m talking about real, actual hip hop fans in the real world.

      • Knickfan4life

And I’m telling you about why hip hop and some whites destroyed it 😉

      • Drake’s 3rd best Ghostwriter

Saying that white people destroyed hip hop is giving us way too much power. You guys must really think we’re that powerful. You got us laughing.

      • Knickfan4life

No you are not powerful at all actually . they saw black people doing it and tried to Co-op the sound and when you got white folks with some money anyone can go in the studio recreate a sound and keep marketing it until you love it. The record company won’t give a white guy like dj .Numark a vp job ,because he would call the record companies out for the garbage they push as hip hop in 2016.

      • Drake’s 3rd best Ghostwriter

Makes perfect sense except… why aren’t the most famous and wealthiest rappers today white ??

      • Knickfan4life

Eminem and vanilla ice did incredibly well but they all had to get black co signs.

      • ZUBU

Agent Dan, I knew that was you…… SMH…

      • Drake’s 3rd best Ghostwriter

Ima try to be better now.

      • ZUBU

Elvis stole Rock and Roll and was deemed the King, the white masses and the media deemed him as such. Then the Beatles, and Stones came along and after a while most of America thought Rock and Roll was a white genre…. Whites tried to do it with Em, they thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Greatest MC ever, God MC, etc.

      • Drake’s 3rd best Ghostwriter

That’s not true. Black people gave up on rock music. The greatest guitar player ever was a black man. No one told you guys to stop.

      • ZUBU

Black people didn’t give up on Rock, we were not getting the air play. We were not getting the record deals. Blacks were writing music, recording songs and the white owned labels would take the song an let a white group record it, because they knew it would be more profitable with white faces singing and performing it… Do some research seriously….
One of the reasons why guys like James Brown bought radio stations around the country because we couldn’t get any play on white stations. Much like many years later whites loved hearing someone who could spit and looked like them……
Little Richard, Chuck Berry, etc. were the kings of Rock, not Elvis… By the time Jimmy Hendrix came along Rock had already been stolen…..

      • ZUBU

@Agent Dan, I see you’ve changed names again but still stirring up the hornets nest…. SMH… Can always count on Good Ole’ Agent Dan to stir up some shiitt….

      • Drake’s 3rd best Ghostwriter

I’m going to try to stop trolling. I think it’s this need I have to get a reaction out of people.

      • Hahahaha!

      • Drake’s 3rd best Ghostwriter

I don’t know about the 50’s rock and im no Elvis fan either. I like the Beatles and it’s true they did re-do a lot of black artists records but I think they did enough to stand on their own as well. They were very innovative. As far as Hendrix. It showed that a black rock hero most certainly could be embraced by white america. There was opportunity.

      • ZUBU

Funny how we went from Blacks dominating Rock at the inception, when Elvis and a few other were the tokens. To some years later Hendrix being the token Black that White America embraced…..
After Rock was swiped from us we just changed our style and went toward Soul, Funk, etc. then once again White groups came along with Blue-Eyed Soul. Some of those acts where pretty good Hall and Oats, Doobie Brothers, Tower Of Power, etc.
Then in the late 70’s rap made a national debut with Sugar Hill Gang, not long after here come the White guys again Rapping Duke, Blondie, Vanilla Ice, etc.
Do you see a trend there? Every time we go down a different lane here you guys come trying to take it and dilute it a bit. Reason why Dame Dash called you guys culture vultures, now of course that does not apply to all Whites in the industry…

      • You’re not even making sense. Gave up? So I suppose we gave up our houses to fires started by the KKK, huh? We gave up our lives to the nooses, huh? White folks have been stealing from Black folks since we were brought here against our will. From raping our women, to stealing our lives through murder, to misappropriating our culture. Some White folks are perpetual thieves. Smh….

Black people have always been and will always be America’s musical center. Just as the old White people (and the young ones being taught by them) will always try to steal the culture and fake like they owned it from jump. Stop trippin’. Some white folks are so bad they even tried to steal the history books so they could rewrite the facts. Shiiiit….

      • Drake’s 3rd best Ghostwriter

Some people in general are perpetual thieves. They come in every shape and color. You’re talking about slavery, jim crow and the klan. I’m about talking about Rock music. Black people invented it and then they went and focused on other shit. It’s not like anyone black who was amazing at it was denied opportunity later on. Hendrix proves that.

Dude, who Cares about this? And the same people who was dissing Wendy Williams, is the same people dissing Charlemagne. And in the end they end up becoming RICH because of their polarization. That’s why Wendy show was #1 on radio and is now #1 on television. That’s why Charlemagne is thriving. THE HATE IS MAKING THEM BIGGER AND RICHER.
