“I heard we were supposed to be working with [Dr.] Dre soon, so I don’t want to fck up the shts. I’m gonna put it out there just so it could be stronger,” said Joey.

He added, “I might just drop a project in the summer. I just might drop another one in December. I’m sitting on like 80 tracks right now, and I’m making more.”

Just a calculated move by Dr.Dre to steal the EastCoast vibe. TDE went to NYC as soon as the first article came out about Joey Bada$$ while son was still in high school. Kendrick Lamar and AbSoul became big time fans of Joey way back then. From his lyrics, I don’t think Capital STEEZ was feeling them coming around Pro Era! I think Capital STEEZ was very disappointed when he saw that TDE members Kendrick Lamar and AbSoul stole Pro Era style and made it big time commercial success with Dr.Dre. I watched it unfold early so Joey better watch Dre before he does exactly what he did with Rakim, Nas and Busta Rhymes, which was “keep your enemies near and steal their vibe”! EastCoast needs to realize and stay away cuz Dr.Dre stuck on competing with the EastCoast, like the premature “I’m the first HipHop billionaire, Westcoast Westcoast”!

    • Doesn’t make sense to me.

Busta, who actually saw releases on Aftermath, had a heavy westcoast influenced sound while he was there.
