Drake Cancels Remaining Summer Sixteen Tour Dates Due To Ankle Injury

THE MC IS STILL SET TO HIT EUROPE

(AllHipHop News) News has surfaced that Drake will be canceling his remaining Summer Sixteen tour dates due to an ankle injury suffered during one of his performances.

The latest development follows the October 5 announcement that the rap star would be canceling his appearances in Toronto, Philadelphia, and Newark in response to the unfortunate injury.

A recent statement released detailing the situation reads as follows:

Drake suffered a severe ankle injury during the tour which he did his best to power through. By doing this, he made his injury worse.

Under doctors orders and to ensure Drake only ever gives fans the performances they deserve, he will be postponing the remaining 3 dates of his Summer Sixteen tour to allow him time to recuperate his ankle injury.

Drake’s fans mean the world to him. Seeing their faces and performing his music for them is what he loves to do the most and he can’t wait to get back on stage.

In a bit of good news, the rapper did announce that he will be taking his act to Europe for his Boy Meets World tour, set to begin January 21 in Amsterdam.
