(AllHipHop News) Jacob the Jeweler is taking former rock star Courtney Love to court, claiming she borrowed $114,000 worth of gold and diamond encrusted jewelry and never returned it.
The New York Daily News reports that Jacob, who served two years in prison for helping B.M.F. launder millions in drug proceeds, filed the lawsuit yesterday (November 22) in New York.
Jacob’s lawsuit claims Love borrowed two white gold and diamond chains, a white gold bracelet and a diamond earrings and never returned them.
Love, former lead of Hole and widow of Nirvana’s founder Kurt Kobain, has been all over the news in the past week, for a series of racy, nude photos that she posted on Twitter during a drinking/drug binge.
Hip-Hop mogul Russell Simmons called Courtney Love out last week when he labeled her a “crack head.”
“I think she is a sweet girl…it’s probably exciting to be a crackhead, I wouldn’t say I was a crackhead but I did smoke a lot of crack,” Simmons said. “I had fun smoking a lot of angel dust…Right now I’m a monk. I’m boring.
“Russell later issued an apology to Love over comments, which didn’t seem to offend the rowdy singer. Ironically, Courtney Love is slated to appear on tonight’s episode of Running Russell Simmons, which airs on the Oxygen Network.
