Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life! First and foremost, congratulations to our
president, Barack Obama, for securing another four years of helping to move this country forward. I never thought I would live to see the day where we begin to move to one beat!
Yes, there is still a lot of work to do, and yes, bigotry, racism, sexism, discrimination, and many more despicable things still exist, but Rome wasn’t built in a day! Love will always conquer Hate!! As long as we continue to move in the right direction, nothing will be able to stop our progress! Today’s Daily Word is dedicated to working together!
Four years ago, when President Obama was first elected, his message was clear… Yes WE can! With a big emphasis on WE!! He was explicit in conveying that he cannot create change without your help. Now four years and many oppositions later, the message stays the same! We will not progress unless we work together!
Tomorrow Starts Today!!! Don’t wait another second to be the change you want to see in the world! Do not make another excuse about why you can’t!! You have the power to live a life that is reserved for you in your wildest dreams! It’s time to tame those dreams, and make them a reality! Absolutely nothing can stop an army marching to the same beat of the same drum! In the classic words of Fabolous and Ne-Yo…. ‘You are a movement by yourself but a force when we work together!!’ Together we Stand, because Falling is not an option!!
