SXSW DEADLY DUI CRASH SUSPECT REVEALED

(AllHipHop News) Being accused of plowing through a crowd at a music festival with your car and killing two innocent people is not the ideal way to get noticed in the rap world. Unfortunately, that is the case for murder suspect Rashad Owens.

Owens, aka K.A.B (KillingAllBeatz), is in police custody after allegedly driving through a DUI checkpoint during SXSW in Austin, Texas last week. Two people were killed and two dozen were injured.

According to the LA Times, the 21-year-old rapper/producer was the founder of Strictly Mafioso Entertainment. The “local rapper” released a song called “Reason” on his Soundcloud account and a low-budget video titled “Stripper News.” Neither project received significant exposure.

Owens was charged with two counts of capital murder and 23 counts of aggravated assault.
