Bobby Schmurda Pleads Not Guilty To Gun Charges

Bobby Shmurda Pleads “Not Guilty,” Faces Murder Charge

Bobby Shmurda has pleaded not guilty Thursday to damning charges of conspiracy, reckless endangerment and gun possession Wednesday.

The rapper appeared in court and he was hit with a proverbial litany of other allegations that included shootings, drug-related activity and even a murder

Bobby Shmurda, real name Ackquille Pollard, has been held on $2 million bail in state Supreme Court in Manhattan.

Howard Greenberg, the rapper’s lawyer, said that the charges are unfounded.

“Does it make sense that he would resort to committing crimes when he has the world in the palm of his hand? It’s ridiculous,” Greenberg said, per the Associated Press.

Police say they found two handguns and a some crack cocaine in a car that carried the rapper as well.

The totality of the investigation was even deeper. There were 15 defendants in the case, 10 of which were arrested with Shmurda.

Shmurda already has gun and drug related arrests this year.
