Montell Jordan Gets "Hyped For Halftime"

It’s hard to believe that Montell Jordan’s long enduring “This Is How We Do It” will be 20 this year but it’s true, as the classic party anthem will officially celebrate two decades of Friday night celebrations on February 6. Now the former Def Jam artist has teamed up with Pepsi and Buffalo Wild Wings for a campaign called “Hyped for Halftime” which features Jordan as he surprises random BWW customers with an in-store performance of the track.

When asked if he ever tires of the song Jordan explained, ‘This Is How We Do It’ is so much fun. It would be hard to say I get tired of singing and hearing the song.” He added, “It’s been a staple, a part of the soundtrack to people’s lives; people remember their 1995 graduation or wedding dance. I get to be a part of that. I love the idea that my song transcends R&B, hip-hop. It transcends color. It transcends age brackets. I would be a fool not to want to hear that song.”
